The beignets are actually quite good and I would be hard-pressed to think of any other place in the Asia town area that has anything close. Each piece is fried to perfection and has a generous amount of powdered sugar on top, making for a sweet and crunchy bite. I really love their Vietnamese iced coffee, which is strong and just sweet enough to be comparable to the real thing. Banh Cuon Is smooth and silky, and is a nice option for something light but satisfying. While I don't love their fish sauce, it adds just enough to make it an essential for texture and taste. One area that I think has gotten them the most flack has been the service. I've had a fair share of miscues and misunderstandings, and even a little bit of attitude during some previous visits here. You can grab and go with options like fried fish, tofu, and cooked meats. Customer service is usually pretty friendly. Just like anywhere else, you should check the expiration date of every product before buying. My cousin forgot to do so and bought two boxes of solar dried bananas that were expired. And during the warmer seasons, they set up a nice plant and herb section for sale right outside the entrance.
