Yall hear me out, my mom went and she doesn't know that much English but she wanted to get her nails done. She liked how her nails came out the first time so she kept going. Well now we are sitting outside Unico Nail Care because she has fungus all over her toes. She has to under go treatment for $250+ to get her nails back to normal. The people here suggested ACRYLIC ON HER BIG TOE, now she could have gotten the fungus from their tools or two her acrylic lifted and water got in and we all know fungus loves moisture! I drive from Wachachie area to Mesquite which is a 45 minute drive. there are other decent places that do your nails, but I like the ambience there and they treat me very well. This is one horrible place. Customer Service is terrible and the guy that done my nails today rushed doing my nails from the time I sat down and got up. He was so bad that he done more to my skin than my nails. I wanted a pedicure to until he was the one going to do it. So I said just change the polish until he said it was $15. I have been using this nail shop for 11 years. I have ignored the blatant racism because I liked the end results. I have had it with them. I already have to wait over an hour to get my hands done after I've already gotten my eyelashes and pedicure. I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and the racist, Vivian, followed me to my car and demanded that I pay for my pedicure. After I told her that I would pay at the end, she insisted that I pay. I told her no and ignored her while I finished my cigarette. I was so disgusted that once I was done having my smoke break, I went inside to pay for the pedicure and left. My son was with me and she made it seem as if I would drive away on a $20 pedicure. I come in every 2 weeks and spend $80-$100 each visit. Why would I run out on a petty ass $20 pedicure when I need to come back in 2 weeks? You would think after supporting them consistently for 11 years that you would get a tad bit more respect but of course not. It's the typical Asian-entitled racism. First, I have to say that this is my first time EVER making a negative comment about any establishment. I was referred to quan nails by my sister. I just moved to Dallas and I needed a really good nail shop. Anyway, I just got a full set of nails done Monday and by Thursday the were literally "popping" off! I called and explained it to the manager in charge and she told me that it's been longer than two days and I would have to pay full price. I keep my nails extremely short so there should have been no reason they would come off so quickly. MY BEST FRIEND WAS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED AT THIS NAIL SALON. She went in for a new set, they put the tips on and she asked for them to be very long. The man doing her nails cut them short and was rude when she commented that she did not like them. She asked him to take off the tips because she was so displeased she wanted to leave. They refused to let her leave without paying (even though all they did was put on the tips) so she asked to speak to a manager who said the same thing. My friend starts to walk and and the EMPLOYEES of this salon physically ATTACKED HER. Pulling her hair and pushing on her. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. My 14 and 12 year old went to get their nails done they were very nice to the kids friendly and their nails and toes came out beautiful.

I've been looking for a shop to get a good dip manicure. I've tried 3 other shops over the past month or so. I have found the shop for me here. The technician soaked my old dip color off instead of popping them off like other shops have done. He also made them look more natural and shaped them well. I got my 7 year old daughter a manicure and pedicure and the technician did a good job on her too. They have 2 kids pedicure chairs. The price was also right. So I'm here 30 minutes waiting so far and another lady walks in and gets served before me so I comment and I am told that I'll shortly be served so I'm okay like that's fine then. Then another lady walks in and get immediate attention and I again make a statement of that "I'm next!". And get refused service. I simply cannot give them a 5 because, not everyone here is good. I have been coming to Quan Nails for about 13, maybe 14 years. The first person I dealt with left. He was super awesome. I miss him and wish he would come back, but that is old news. The second person I dealt with, she was awesome and she ending up leaving too. I wish she would come back, but she is not doing nails any more. The third person, I have been dealing with her since they moved to this new location. She is good. She is not better than the first or second tech, but she is good. They have a few people in here who are good and the rest are pretty much learning. On the weekends, they stay crowded. I hate coming here during that time. Their chairs are outdated and they need new ones. I like them because I have been knowing them. If you have not been knowing them, them you will pay regular price and it can get expensive. People are complaining about nails popping off in a few days and people selling stuff to you and whatever else they are talking about. Here's my advice: If you go to Quan Nails and your nails pop off in a few days, go back up there, do not call, just show up and talk to your nail tech that you dealt with. Do not ask for the manager because the manager will go off on you. She is not the manager she is the owner. If someone comes in trying to sell you stuff, just expect it because it is in the hood. It is not a spot in the hood you can go, where someone is not trying to sell you something. If you come in with an attitude, they will look at you and all of a sudden forget they know the little English they speak and basically fight over who is going to deal with you. If the 1st nail tech I dealt with was there, he would tell you, nobody like to do your nail, your attitude bad. Then he'd forget he just said that in English and they'd get back to arguing over who is going to take one for the team in their language. If you do not like the hood do not go here. If you do not like to wait, then do not go here. If you do not stick with the same tech every single time, then just do not go here. I asked for a full set along with gel polish. My nails turned out 3 different shapes, sizes, and lengths. Horrible. Someone came in to get their lashes done, and the lady doing my nails just left mid application and started doing the girl's eyelashes. Another employee stepped in and "finished" applying the gel polish on my nails. She did it so fast and applied the top coat in a rush. To make things worse, they made me move chairs to help the eyelash girl right after spraying my hands with alcohol or some other liquid. They asked I pay them, so I did. I even tipped the lady 5 dollars. I sat back down because I expected a second coat or at least to get checked if my nails were ready yet. No oil, or lotion, or hand massage. Just a "goodbye". I left confused, furious, and quite frankly, I regret even tipping them. I took the time to type this lengthy review because I believe that if someone is going to spend their time and money there, they at least deserve decent customer service not to mention experience.
