I have found my new nail salon! I wanted a simple pedicure with gel polish and it was a great experience! They had lots of colors to choose from and they only use gel polish which made it easy! I didn't have an appointment I just walked in around 2 pm on a Saturday and was seated quickly and the nail tech was already there ready to go! They offer complementary drinks and have lots of tv's to occupy your time. My nail tech was very nice and professional and I could tell she had been doing this a long time! No complaints , will definitely return and maybe try doing my nails as well next time! read more

I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The pedicure itself was underwhelming. The massage portion was so light it was barely noticeable, but the manicure was where things truly went downhill. I was surprised to learn that basic things many salons include in the manicure price are considered "special" here. Want an oval shape? That's an extra charge. Need your nails shortened? Also an extra charge. None of this was communicated clearly upfront, and it certainly doesn't feel consistent with what most people expect from a standard manicure service. They indicate it is stated on the menu. The menu says "special shapes" without specifying which are included and are n it. My technician seemed inconvenienced when I asked for advice about which nail shape would work best. After she initially cut them unevenly, I politely asked if they could be shortened further to even them out, which clearly irritated her. By the time the service was finished, I still had dip powder residue all over my hands and noticeable buildup underneath my nails. When the drill caught the end of one nail during cleanup, I pointed it out and asked if it could be fixed. I was told it didn't mess them up, even though the damage is obvious in photos. When I later asked about the unexpected charges, the response I received felt dismissive and defensive rather than helpful. I could have overlooked smaller things like the lack of lotion scent options that many other local salons offer, or the inexpensive trays and cups used for products despite luxury-level pricing. What I can't overlook is the combination of poor workmanship, unclear pricing, and a lack of basic customer service. For the prices being charged, I expected a far more professional and attentive experience. read more

I normally get my manicure and pedicure in Dallas near work . Definitely will go back to Grand Nails before I do this place again . read more

This salon had TERRIBLE service. I came in to do my nails and after telling us how much it would be, they added tons of cost to the final price for shaping (my nails were already shaped, length, and taking off my old nails) so when I wanted to leave they told me I had to pay for getting my nails taken off, meanwhile they put my hands in the acetone. Then I decided to just get my nails done there because it would be more expensive to pay them then go somewhere else. The lady that did them was so aggressive with my hands, did my nails terrible, then made me pay for them. There were blue dots all over my nails from the "base clear coat" that had blue in it, and when I told her she said it would go away. It did not and then made me pay. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've come to this nail salon multiple times now and every single time I have left extremely pleased with the experience. I have had a different nail tech (Diana, Alice, Victoria, thi)each time and they have all been outstanding. I do acrylic or dip and have had a couple pedicures as well. This last time, I messed up my own nail (spilled acetone painting my daughter's nails) and went back to get it repaired and they did for no charge. The drinks are also very good each time. I did not receive any manicure services(massage,lotion,oils, etc) it was literally dipping my nails in the powder and drawing some stripes on them and it was $90. Wow. Ridiculously overpriced for very basic nails. Last time I was charged $45 and this time it was $65. Why such a discrepancy? When asked, they presented charges for shape, length, and soak off. Mind you, I had the same nails they did last time. I'm their client and they're charging me to take off nails they did? Doesn't make sense. I have visited the nail salon on several occasions. I am big on supporting veteran businesses, being that I am a veteran. Nonetheless. I wanted to treat my sister for her birthday because I had visited the nail salon two weeks prior and needed to have my old nail polish soaked off. With that said, I was purchasing two adults' manicures & pedicures, as well as a child's pedicure. This occurred around 1:20 p.m. on October 11. The young lady informed me that there was a wait, and I responded, "No problem." She then explained that a $60.00 security deposit was required due to the cost of the services; however, we were not leaving, and I had just been there two weeks prior. I politely told the young man with glasses, who, by the way, is always there when I come in for service. I wished him a pleasant day. All was not lost; we went to the Lux Nail Bar, where there was no wait time & the service was excellent. The Kisoh sign-in system for services was a level up over previous methods. read more

I have been to SNB a few times, every time it is clean, cocktails are on point and generally the staff is pleasant. I get a classic mani/pedi with regular polish. Pedicures have always been nice. The last two times I've been, there's been an issue with the quality of the regular polish. No one has ever introduced themselves to me before getting to work, and once they tried to do my mani at the same time as my pedi which impedes on using the massage chair and just generally relaxing to enjoy the pedi service. I could understand if they were super busy and short staffed to double up, but just as a general rule because the other staff is just sitting there bored does not sit well with me and I don't like feeling pressured to accommodate. The first faux pas was I got a deep blue color and the polish was thick and goopy. The attendant asked if I liked it, and I did like the color itself so I said nothing about the quality. I was mad at myself for not speaking up at the time and said not happening again. The next time I went, I got a light metallic purple color regular polish. My toes were okay. My fingers were not. The very nice attendant kept asking me if I liked them and watching my face for reactions. I said I liked the color but why was it gooped up, bumpy with ridges and not covering to the edge of my nails? She removed the polish, shook up the bottle on the mixing machine and tried again. Still same goopy bumpy results and asking me if I liked it that time because she was fine with me walking out the door looking like a four year old had done my nails. I was frustrated and thinking I could have done a better job and I was just there for some "me" time and could not. I said no it doesn't look good so had to get a younger attendant to finish the basic nail polish job, after doctoring up the nail polish bottle again. Overall, I really liked the aesthetics and their services offered, but the quality of the polish is very sub par along with their personal integrity being in question with letting that kind work walk out of their door to represent their salon if you do not speak up and call them out on it. She kept asking if I liked it and watching my face because she knew it wasn't good work but wanted to move on to something else if I didn't come across as a confrontational person. I'm not generally confrontational, but this also wasn't my first rodeo with them and their polish quality so it definitely was addressed and no more benefit of the doubt for them. Ultimately, it's that kind of integrity for me that doesn't deserve any more of my time or money. read more

RACIST, RUDE AND UNWILLING TO FIX THIER MISTAKES. I've been going to sunnyvale since the summer of 2024. A sweet older lady did my nails the first time. The nails were okay, nothing to rave about, but everyone was nice so I decided to go back. The second time I went back VICTORIA did my nails. I noticed she had an attitude, but I was still nice about it because everyone has bad days. I liked the way she did my nails so I continued to request her. For whatever reason, this last set of nails kept breaking. I got the claw set and the tip of the claw broke THAT SAME DAY. I Called up there to get it fixed but I could not make it in that day so I went back in the next day. No worries, it happens but at least they fixed it. I kid you not less than 7 days and 4 of my nails broke in the same way. All in the same spot. There are my real nails with an overlay. This has never happened with any other nail tech at any other salon. I called up there the day after thanksgiving to inform them about my nails breaking off. I was going to let it ride but after paying $150 and 4 nails breaking, I did not think it was fair for me to walk around like that until my next fill. The person who answered the phone was rude, but I'm sorry, I paid too much money to be looking like this. I went in and they had someone examine my nails first. I guess they didnt believe this could happen. I went in and the front desk guy tried to shoo me away but I told him I will wait. A guy fixed my nails. He did okay. But because I had two other techs fix my nail, they all are shaped a little differently. No big deal because I knew when I go back to get my fill this could be fixed! Today I asked my sister to make me an appointment so we can have a sister day. However they told her that no one wants to do my nails and they have the right to deny me because they are 1099 employees- fair, but shouldn't they have a legit reason to not want to do my nails again??? The thing I have a problem with the most is that I left the salon thanking everyone for helping me out and what I thought was good standing. It really is a slap in the face considering i've recommended several people to this salon and they all have good things to say. Just because you all make mistakes does not mean customers should be punished for it. Take accountability for filing nails too thin. HAN, JULIE, VICTORIA he name dropped you and a few others. Such a cute salon! My favorite nail tech of over TEN YEARS, ** Julie **, has relocated to Sunnyvale Nail Bar and I am devastated!! Her new salon is way too far for me to make the drive twice a month, but I had to visit her at least once to see her new place. And oh my gosh! It is fabulous! This salon is absolutely adorable inside and has a wonderful selection of colors to choose from. Based on what I learned, they do it all and their nail 'art' is over the top! If you live in Sunnyvale and are looking for a fun salon to have a girl's day or a relaxing 'self-care' experience, I think this place is absolutely worth a visit!! Depending on the type of nails you prefer, I of course recommend my girl, Julie!! Julie is incredible for traditional dip and gel nails and does great pedis! I came to get a dip set before heading out to vacation and not even 24 hours a nail popped off. I went back they fixed it but then while I'm boarding the plane the 48 hours later another nail popped. My friend and I had a horrible experience on Friday, October 4, 2024. We were immediately seated for pedicures and dip nails, but both took over two hours. The pedicures were fine. My dip nails had to be redone twice, and my friend's had to be redone 3 times. They do not look what we asked, even after pointing this out, and showing pictures. Every single one of my friend's fingers are bleeding. They had to get someone else to take over after she brought up the pain multiple times. We should not have paid. Things got worse the next day. The color came off the edges of my nails and a chunk came off the tip of my thumb nail, both after less than 24 hours. We went back to get a refund, but they said they could not. Based on the painful cuts and terrible job, we were not open to having them redone again. I will never, ever go back. read more
