Holly was verbally aggressive, yelling, and posturing after being told that she wasn't listening to my concerns. Tracy had to step in to address my issue due to Holly's behavior. I went to this nail salon for the first time on 3/14 for a manicure w/ acrylic powder and pedicure. Service was great! On 3/20 the dip came off one nail and was rising on 3 other nails. I called the shop and was told to come in to get them fixed. I get there and explain the situation. Holly is insisting that I find the exact color to fix my nails. I can't find it so she finds one that is similar. I told her that I didn't want "mix match" nails and suggested changing the color. Holly then says that I can get a $5 discount if I change the color. I told her that I would not be paying because it has been less than 7 days since I got my nails done. She fixes the one nail and I asked her about the other three. Holly becomes visibly upset after I stated that she wasn't listening to me when I explained the issue. She then gets loud, stands up, and raises her voice. Keep in mind, other customers were receiving services. I addressed her and stated that she would not speak to me in that manner and to lower her voice. She continues and then Tracy intervenes to take me to her station. While sitting there I ask for Holly's name because I didn't know it at the time. Holly is sitting behind me and yells "you gone write about me on Facebook" and storms to the back after being told that she will respect me. I did not yell, curse, or call her out of her name during this back and forth. I asked for a manager and was told that I had to speak with Holly. No, welcome, no how are you doing, just " sign in"... I asked for pedicure and dip nails. Off top the technicians were practically bullying me to upgrade my pedicure from classic to something extra. I asked for regular polish, they gave me gel. Then. had the nerve to charge me for it. The tech who was doing my nails. Obviously, had never done dip nails before. I have been looking for a place to get my nails done since I moved from downtown to heartland and I needed a place that has respectful people who don't talk about you in Chinese or Vietnamese... I think I may have found a place. I don't like to go somewhere as a customer and feel uncomfortable and feel there are jokes about me being said. This was my first visit here.. The place is nice and affordable. However, this was my first pedicure in a very long time. The lady was very rough when removing my side toe nails on my big toes, so much that it was painful. It was grown out so understand her having to put some work into it, but I feel it could have been done more delicately considering I told her beforehand that the nails were causing discomfort. This was 3 days ago and I now have an infection in 1 of my toes that is extremely painful, red , and swollen. I come here every once ina while and my recent experience yesterday was just not the same as it used to be, the front lady (who used to be a sweet guy) was just flat out rude, had an attitude and wasn't enthusiastic and through off the whole mood so that ruined it, but then one of the guys (assuming he's new) would NOT be paying attention to my toes, was on his phone every 5 mine WHILE giving a pedicure looking back and filing my toes at the same time (seriously?? not professional) and then to top it offC blamed ME for moving too much when in reality he would put the UV light machine and hit my toes without care, which would leave them to mess up. i honestly can go on because they just didn't seem to put in much effort and half ass it so i honestly don't think i'll be coming here anymore. Went here for the first time tonight. It was wonderful! My mother and I walked in, she needed a pedicure and I needed a manicure. I got a french gel manicure. It looks amazing! My manicurist was great! Very personable and friendly. And he did a fantastic job! I will definitely go back when this manicure is done. The place is very clean and looks great inside. You go to the nail shop to look relax and leave with beautiful nails. Too many new people and the owners let the nail techs pick and choose who they wanna do. If you pay good money you should get good service period. What a lovely place for a pedicure. Staff was friendly and we were promptly offered a beverage (wine!) when seated. We got the top/best pedicure package which I thought was a steal for $45 - it included aromatherapy and a paraffin wax. Massage chairs hit all the right sore spots on my back. Not very communicative. I went to remove my old nails and was left sitting there. I had 2 women come and file my nails randomly. It took forever and wasn't consistent. When I was told to wash my hands I had to use one of the brushes to get all of the stuff off of my hands and even after using soap my hands smell like mold. I'd like to start off by saying I am a person that is very patient and non confrontational and never write reviews in places, but this service is the worst service I've ever had. I went to the salon with my friends and out of all three of ours mine was the simplest and the one that came out the worst. My friends and I show the manager the designs we want and obviously gave the easiest one (mine) to the man who was either new or didn't know how to do nails. First thing that annoyed me was when I asked for the length to be shorter he said it would look better longer due to the shape, I didn't argue, perhaps that was my mistake but as a paying customer I think I shield have to say it only once to get what I want and if it comes out looking bad because it was too short than it would be my fault but what o wanted and asked for. Second thing the filing he was rushing through it to try to get in another customer and cut me in the process. Third thing the design. Although i am no nail artist, I would say that it was very simple design in my humble opinion but I didn't get what I wanted and to try to rectify the situation he kept on saying "it's not exactly like in the picture but it looks good". First of all the reason I brought the picture is so that you can copy the design not do a freestyle at that point I didn't even want to say anything because I knew if I began I was gonna get mad and start yelling at the man and I didn't want to do that. But in reality I think that people only listen if you are rude to them. Manager was watching this entire thing go down and didn't say a word or at least try to set me up with someone that could do it. The man said at the end "I'm sorry I'm not an artist", so what are you doing at a nail salon. And the cherry on top I paid $53 with tip because I always feel guilty if I don't leave a tip but now that I think about it I shouldn't have left anything as a lesson. Even if all the previous mistakes had not happened and my nails come out perfectly the design was far too simple for the $53. My friends and I saw that it had high stars but in reality we do not know why. I got scammed. Very disappointed, never coming here again and I hope this review shows up to someone so that the same experience does not happen to another person.
