As it was time to leave I was at the register next to another customer that asked if she could get a pedicure. For some reason they wanted me to pay prior to her (maybe because they were going to do her pedicure). I paid and waited for that customer to leave behind me. Never happened. Let's just say she most likely received all her services she requested. I won't return because this was my first time not getting all the services I requested. I don't want to say they were bad but what's right is right. Had I gotten all my requests I would've given them another chance. I haven't gotten my nails done in a long time however I had gone quite frequently in the past to an amazing nail technician and place. One - it's very cold in there. Not too pleasant when you're sitting there for nails, and wearing fairly warm shoes. Two - the "quick dry" spray doesn't dry. Not to put your coat on isn't an option in the winter in New England. Having a place to dry your nails needs to be in place or atleast communicating to your client just sit here for x more minutes then we can check them. And lastly a smooth looking nail is expected when you pay for nails. I do my nails all the time at home the only different is that smooth finish you hope to achieve by a nail technician. The simple nail art did come out beautiful. Honestly, the salon itself is a no for me altogether with a less than average experience. I don't recommend it. I can be more specific of other issues but I honestly don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. I think the salon owner needs to pay more attention to details while there are far too many nail salons to choose from that capitalize on one of these issues. The staff always seems rushed just to get clients in and out quickly, which shows in the final result. For example, trying to remove your fingernail polish when getting a pedicure, how unrelaxing is that?! They also use a strange brush-on product to remove gel polish instead of foil and regular acetone, the process felt rushed and extremely harsh on my nails. The most disappointing experience was before my wedding. I had called in advance to schedule my appointment for my wedding nails, and when I arrived they even greeted me by saying, "You're the bride!" Unfortunately, just two days later, two of my gel nails chipped and another one chipped the day after that, which is unheard of for GEL! I ended up having to get them completely redone the day before my wedding, which was incredibly stressful and frustrating. Sadly, chipped gel nails had happened to me here once before this incident too, but I brushed it off at the time. Unfortunately, I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I shouldn't have. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and longer-lasting gel manicures. After that, some other lady came over and had to drill it and redo the whole entire thing and I had plans that I was late for. I also on that day went with my friend, and her nails were bleeding in six different spots.
