I ordered an arrangement for Valentines' Day that I was sure to impress. Even the name was "Grand Gesture." When it arrived it was far less impressive and not matching the style or intent of the advertised arrangement on their website. I emailed my concerns and received a prompt phone call back. The staff agreed with my assessment and said they would make it right by sending a new arrangement 2 days later once they ordered the flowers needed. The new arrangement was beautiful. I phoned in an order for a Get Well arrangement. I chose "Sunshine and Smiles" for $80 plus delivery. The small arrangement contained bright bold colors. It seemed $80 was high for 6 roses & alstroemeria, but I liked the bright vibrant colors. What my friend received was an arrangement of very pale pink and white flowers. The roses were all already fully open. Looked nothing like the one ordered. I saw many pink and pale bouquets on their site & did not choose them. But ended up with one anyway. Very disappointed. I am so happy that my coworker referred me to Quasthoff's! I was on the hunt for a florist for my wedding and she suggested I reach out and set up a time with them. When my husband and I left the location after our initial meeting, we both walked out feeling we had finally found what we were looking for. We didn't have a theme or exact color scheme in mind at the time we found Quasthoff's, but our contact Katie was more than willing to work with me in the lead up to the wedding to finalize the vision. Using some of the images on my Pinterest board, Katie was able to start the process via email and sent me some colors and florals to consider. From there, we continued to refine the look and feel via email adding in colors and texture. When we were close to the wedding, we had a meeting where I could see the florals in person. Upon arrival, Katie had examples of the bouquet and two centerpieces ready for me to look at so we could discuss. It was super helpful to see them in person, set expectations on what or may not be available or work best for the weather, and to gauge how large each arrangement might be. Not to mention, Quasthoff's was very affordable. The quote I received included the design, flowers, delivery and the use of vases and pillars. The best part about this was that all the vases would be mine to keep. I knew that most of the guests would want to take flowers home so the fact that we did not have to worry about returning anything was so great. In addition, Quasthoff's was kind enough to stain the wooden pillars that would flank the aisle to match the color of the arch that I rented from the venue...and they picked up the pillars at the venue the next day! Truly, they really went above and beyond to make sure everything went together and that I had nothing to worry about. The day of the wedding, I was getting ready at the venue and was going to have a first look and family portraits right after so everything needed to be ready to go by a certain time. For the ceremony, they decorated the arch, provided flowers for individual chairs down the aisle and for the entrance to the garden area. For the cocktail hour, they provided small bunches of flowers for the high-boy tables. For the reception, they provided the centerpieces for each of the guest tables and the sweetheart table. In addition, they provided corsages, boutonnieres, and my bouquet for the bridal party. Quasthoff's delivered all the flowers for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and for the bridal party on time and had everything set up accordingly so we were able to take pictures and start everything on schedule. Just being able to run on time because of their speedy work was super appreciated. Overall, we were very pleased with the decision we made to hire Quasthoff's for our special day. Everything they put together was beautiful, they were easy to work and collaborate with, and the customer service was AMAZING. Decided to use a local florist for Mom's Day flowers...BIG MISTAKE. They were supposed to deliver the flowers on Saturday. After being told they were on the truck for delivery, I called 2 hours later and was told they weren't going to be delivered until Sunday. Our process started a little over a year ago., we were going to use an independent florist until we got the quote, our budget we felt was reasonable 3 grand at the most and our quote $6,000, yes double., lol. My wife's main concern was the floral arrangements so she scoured Pinterest and picked out flowers that she felt were beautiful., peonies, roses and other blush and muted flowers. I finally went to Quastoffs on a recommendation from a friend., we were introduced to Katie M. She was very helpful. She immediately was able to picture my wife's vision and after a absolute fantastic quote, we chose this company., over the next few months Pinterest pictures were exchanged. They did a beautiful job on my wedding center pieces. They had the center pieces already divided so all I had to do was transfer them to the vases I was using. They came later and decorated the arch for my wedding while I was getting dress. It was nice to walk out and see how nice they draped the fabric and added the flower arrangements to it. My bouquets were beautiful. They even included a toss bouquet for me and vases to put them in. I found them reasonably price and easy to contact too. I order flowers through ftd and the florist in which that handled my order was Quasthoff and the flower arrangement was horrible. The occasion was my mothers birthday in which is today 12/18 the day I requested the flowers to be delivered. Once the flowers arrived I was extremely mad and disappointed. Firstly, the flowers were damn near dead. Secondly, the arrangement wasn't even the flowers I ordered. I ordered orange flowers which is my mothers favorite color, however I received some purple arrangements in which my mother hates the color purple. I called ftd and they said we will refund you $4.32, and please keep in mind I paid almost $80 for these flowers that I didn't even order. I am furious. If anybody is reading this message, I would suggest you never order through ftd and stay far away from this florist quasthoff flowers. Please don't do business with either of these businesses. 12/19 it is currently 2:12pm and my mother has yet to receive her flowers, at this point my mother just text me saying hey your money back. I'm beyond pissed at all parties involved in the handling of my order. One would think being as though they fucked up my order that they would try to get the delivery out first thing in the morning, but I guess customer satisfaction isn't that important to ftd or quasthoff. I would give zero stars but that's not an option. It's a shame this place has really gone down the tubes. I ordered seven center pieces for my sons baptism and boy was I disappointed. First of all, when I placed the order it was as if I was bothering the girl taking it. She claimed they were closing since they sent their last delivery out...well that's great but ur hours said otherwise online. I should've trusted my instincts and backed out then. But I decided to give it a try. Well needless to say I didn't even notice the flowers at the dinner until someone asked me where I got them so that they knew to never go there. They were all wilted and dead. Also- I paid 25/ per arrangement and they were probably 6 inches tall - TINY. I'm so disappointed that I have these people my business. I wish I could give maybe a 3.5 star but I'll give them a 4 instead to be nicer. My boyfriend ordered flowers from probably 1800flowers for our anniversary since he was out of town. The first batch of a dozen roses came in and the flowers themselves didn't look terrible, they were big but 2 were broken and there were some brown spots. I called and they delivered another dozen the same day and took those back. The next ones were nicer looking but smaller roses. They then started wilting the next day and by the 3rd day half were basically dead and all the filler was dead. I wasn't too happy at this point and was repeatedly told "we get new roses everyday" even though they were two different types of roses and I have a friend who owns a flowershop... I know they sit in a cooler for a couple days. Whatever. They offered to send out another arrangement or give us a credit so I told them I would take another arrangement but I didn't want a dozen roses in a vase like I had been getting because I wasn't happy with the quality. They let me keep the dozen and 3 survived for my boyfriend to see 4 days later, all the same color. I just got the FINAL arrangement and they're beautiful. All of the flowers are arranged really nicely, they're in green wet foam and a cute box base. I don't think I'll have any problems with these dying on me soon. I wouldn't say that I would use them on a regular basis but I'm happy with this arrangement and that they had decent customer care. Maybe it was a "bad batch of flowers" from that day like I was told but seems like when it comes down to it, they make nice arrangements. If this arrangement is equivalent to a dozen roses like I asked, seems like it is more beneficial to get an arrangement over flowers in a vase. read more

As someone else has mentioned, they have gone way down hill since Thatcher Ave. They had been my go to florist for 30 years but I have ordered twice in the last 3 weeks and been disappointed both times. Poor quality flower issues aside, the customer service rep seemed to be bothered by my asking where my flowers are after the promised delivery on Wednesday and they never arrived. then they called and they sent them to the wrong hospital!!!!! I Re-verified the exact hospital name and address that was on my online order and they said they would call me as soon as they where delivered. Ordered an expensive flower arrangement ($100) through FTD which was delivered by Quasthoff's. Extremely disappointed at both the size of the arrangement and the quality of the flowers. It did not come close to matching the online photo. By the fifth day, the flowers were wilted and nearly dead. By sixth day they were headed to the garbage. So much for FTD's 7-Day guarantee. Called FTD to complain and after being put on hold multiple times, they provided a partial refund. Don't waste your time. Head to the floral dept of your local grocer and you'll get a much better deal. Wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering. Never again. read more

When I went in for my appointment, I was very pleased. I met with a woman named Genie, and our appointment was in a nice little cozy room, very elegant. There, we talked about my vision of flowers, colors and types of flowers, and also I looked at some photos in the album. It was very easy, as I hoped it would be. Genie spoke with me about what I would like and really worked with me on achieving my vision for the flowers for our wedding. I left very happy and very satisfied. I feel they work with you and that they do not "nickel and dime you for everything," are very professional, and they listen to what you are asking. This place is a definite NO! My boyfriend ordered a nearly $200 floral arrangement through FTD for my birthday, and this is the floral shop the flowers were sent to me from. First flower delivery: The delivery came on the wrong day (it was 2 days early - no big deal - but they were supposed to arrive on my actual birthday), all the flowers were dead and wilted and looked like they had been sitting around the floral shop for a good week+ before they were put into the arrangement. We called FTD and replacement arrangement was sent (which I received this evening). These flowers also look just horrific, they are all crushed flat and quite a few of the unopened buds are covered in mold! So now I am sitting with dead flowers that have fallen all over my counter from the first arrangement that is only a day old, and another smashed up moldy one- awaiting someone from the Quastoff's to come pick both up so we can receive a full refund. I find it really hard to wrap my mind around that fact that someone who works at this place thinks it is acceptable to send floral arrangements out to people that look like this - the flowers are very very obviously in extremely poor conditon - they have to see this when they are putting them in the vase.
