I've had a couple opportunities to work with this shop and I've been pretty happy. A few months back, I needed a small bouquet for one of my nieces. With 15 minutes notice, they whipped up a cute bouquet appropriate for a young lady. The price was right and I was in and out without a hassle. About a month ago, my son was headed to his sophomore homecoming. I called early in the week to order his date a wrist corsage. The call went fine except that the employee didn't know their hours on Saturdays. And didn't have any way to find out. That seemed weird. I mentioned it when I arrived on Saturday morning and learned that the hours vary because of weddings and other special events. This made a little more sense. The wrist corsage was very pretty, but cost a bit more than I would have liked to pay. Regardless, I don't spring for flowers often, so I guess it's okay. read more

Very nice selection of arrangements for all occasions. I had picked out a couple choices to send to my mom for her birthday. One of the options was Florist Choice, where the pros would design an arrangement using the freshest flowers and greens available. Since every arrangement is unique, there was no standard photo, a bit of a gamble, but it seemed like an interesting choice. So I pressed the order button. The flowers delivered were gorgeous ,incredibly fresh, with various types of blooms and all brightly colored. There were yellow roses, lilies and mums. Pastel gerbera daisies and snapdragons, white stock and purple pops of lavender liatris. I would order from Town and Country again and highly recommend them. Lastly, Mom enjoyed her surprise delivery and loves the bright arrangement! read more

I had a great experience with impeccable service from Town & Country Gardens. I was needing to order an arrangement for a wake, never a fun task, and they were incredibly helpful. The deceased was a very young man, so I wanted something more bright and cheery to send to his family- and Town & Country followed through. I loved their great communication- I got a notice for my order, and then a follow up when the flowers had been delivered to the funeral home- which gave peace of mind to those who could not attend. When I arrived, the arrangement was already there and was beautiful. I would definitely work with this florist again- hopefully for a happier reason next time. read more

Just ordered flowers for my daughter-in-law's birthday. The bouquet was beautiful & delivered on time! Everything I could ask for!

So, my fiance's mother and grandmother sent us a giant fruit basket for Easter that was packed/shipped by this place. I was really excited to get it, however after opening it discovered several pieces of pretty nasty looking fruit. Old pineapple, 2 diseased looking oranges, one kiwi was basically liquid inside and 2 pears that had beat-up looking skin. Also, they told us the basket was supposed to have 2 pineapples in it, but it did not. The card that came with it said "We use only the freshest fruit & gourmet products." I cringe thinking of how much they must have spent on this sad basket. Disappointing, won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

I received absolutely gorgeous birthday flowers from one of my daughters today. Exquisite arrangement!! She is in San Francisco - and ordered them via FTD. The rep at Town and Gardens left a message on my phone saying flowers were dropped off on my porch at l0:30. I had to work l0 to l:30 so was grateful to receive the call telling me they were there!! Ordered flowers, but gave the wrong phone number for the house that they were to be delivered to as I was ordering from California, I had no idea it was windy out and eleven 11° out, making delivery impossible without someone being home to receive them. They called me and I gave the correct phone number, they came back later when they were sure they were home. I think this was going above and beyond the call of duty! I've had nothing but positive experiences with this florist. Twice I've ordered a custom bouquet from them and never had them tell me they couldn't accomplish what I had wanted. I was recreating my wife's wedding bouquet for our anniversary. After I gave the arrangement to her, she mentioned she liked it even better than the original. Two years later I decided to do it again but I was out of the state. I emailed pictures of the bouquet to the shop and they took care of the rest! I even mentioned that my wife wouldn't be home until almost 6. You know what they did? They personally drove it to my house after closing shop for the day so that it wouldn't sit outside for hours. Christine with Town & Country Gardens is such an amazing florist and an even nicer person! I cannot thank her enough for her guidance, patience and artistry! I had a few meetings with Christine leading up to the wedding. She gave me suggestions without being pushy, listened to my likes and dislikes and came up with the most beautiful and creative floral arrangements & boutiques! A few days before the wedding I needed to make some changes to my table arrangements. I called Christine, nervous it was too late to make adjustments, but without skipping a beat she assured me she could make the changes and everything would look perfect. She was right! Thank you Christine for being such an important part of the best day of our lives. All of the floral arrangements were beautifully crafted, consistent and complimented our style. I will begin by saying that we have used Town and Country Gardens in various locations for many years, and they have always done a wonderful job. So you're probably asking, "why the one star?" This review is based on their total lack of customer service and insensitivity regarding a funeral arrangement. When I phoned the Bartlett shop to request flowers be sent to the funeral home where my Uncle (a Purple Heart Veteran from World War II) was being waked, I spoke with the store manager. I understood that the funeral home was out of their area, but that the flowers would be provided by one of their partners in the area. We had a detailed conversation about exactly what I was looking for, and I specifically asked her to personally follow up on the order to make sure it was correct. Without going in to detail, she did not personally follow up, and the flowers were not as requested. Needless to say, there is no "do over" for funeral flowers. When I phoned to let them know what actually happened, she said that she sent an email with the order. I do not consider this personally following up. She further insulted me by offering a $5 discount. There was no apology, only a bad attitude. When I spoke with the owner, it was apparent that the bad attitude and lack of compassion runs from the top down. He was rude and unapologetic. This arrangement was to be a tribute to our Uncle, a wonderful family man and a Patriot. The fact that they did not follow through was of no concern to them. The fact that the owner of a business would not only actually yell at a long-time customer, but would be so inconsiderate as to speak that way to someone who just lost a loved one is incomprehensible to me. Particularly since they were in the wrong. There are lots of good florists around. We will find one who treats their customers with respect. read more

I've purchased Flower arrangements from Town & Country many times in the past three years and always been very impressed. I always say to them that their flowers just seem to not only look great but last longer than any flowers I've ever bought in the past. I will never deal with this florist shop again...Town and Country Florists in Bartlett, Illinois. I ordered (by phone) a daisies for my sister in Bartlett Illinois on Friday 5-24-13 for the next day morning delivery. My sister lives in a secure building, so when the delivery driver announced he had an order for her she said she would open the door and could see him on the monitor, when she went to the door he was gone and no flowers. She was rather alarmed thinking it was someone trying to get in the building. Her daughter came over and she called the florist, THEY TOLD HER THE FLOWERS WERE STILL AT THE SHOPAND WOULD BE DELIVERED ON SUNDAY MORNING. In the meantime, I had gotten a CONFIRMATION DELIVERY ORDER, HOWEVER THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I called the shop this morning to ask what was going on, the manager at the florist shop said IT WAS MY SISTER'S FAULT SHE DIDN'T COME TO THE DOOR, SO HE LEFT THEM WITH SOMEONE "NEXT DOOR". I TOLD HIM THAT WAS NOT TRUE. He yelled at me and said he's had it with this order and would credit my card back and cancel the order. Perfect!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FLORIST TO ANYONE EVER. In all the years I've ordered flowers from all over for family and friends, never have I encountered such incompetence. To blame a customer, with no apologies for the mix-up is inexcusable and beyond horrible business etiquette. read more
