The vibe is one of loving food, loving coworkers and wanting to share this love! Had dinner last night, 6 of us total. Apps, beers, meals, sides, desserts, and we all tried each others foods. What a treat. Definitely will come monthly to enjoy for date night or with friends. Very special food, worth celebrating. High quality experience, great atmosphere: cool and upscale but unpretentious. Gigi was our water, and despite being her 3rd day on the job, she was excellent. Clearly a keeper. McKenzie was still training her and we appreciated his sarcasm. We will ask for Gigi next time we come. Bianca is front of house, and seems to keep all in line. She is organized and runs things. We were dining with a former favorite teacher of hers, but she is really engaged with all. You can see what we got in the pics below: Ceasar salad with shrimp, other salad with shrimp, brick chicken, pork schnitzel, lobster stew and salmon. Apps/sides included tempura green beans, grilled asparagus, fries with cheese and plantains. Chicken and pork portions were especially large and needed to go bags. For dessert the passion fruit sorbet and chocolate graham cracker banana foster ice cream were chosen with 6 spoons. The banana foster ice cream was unusual and to die for, sorbet was great too. Meeting Alex and having him answer many questions we had, was a highlight. While talking with him, he told us how great different staff were, and we could see that not only does he know everyone - many have been with him for up to 20 years in other restaurants - his staff also really enjoy working for him. This must contribute to the energy here. Nice atmosphere of course, but the vibe is one of loving food, loving coworkers and wanting to share this love! We opted for a 4:30 reservation, so we're alone for the beginning of our dinner. If the time you want isn't on resy, call them. They will always try to accommodate. There is a nice area that can accommodate a small group - maybe up to 16 or 20 - in the back corner. The outside is also really nice when weather permits. There will be some nice options in the future. Family nights where kids under a certain age eat free, and fixed price meals. Can't wait for that! That will be a big hit in Beverly I think. We also had ideas for specific events and Alex was open to that. So def check it out. I was sad for Frank's to leave. It's nice to have another high quality option.

I love this place, favorite dinner place in Beverly! Authentic latin food with incredible flavor and great value for the price. The decor and interior vibe seem very deliberate, we love sitting anywhere because it feels spacious even when it's very busy. The bar is very well stocked and I adore the bar manager. All the staff are so friendly and personable. My favorite cocktail right now is the Dad's joke (which is corny) and the mocktails are also delightful. The menu rotates seasonally and always impresses. Definitely check this place out and try the ice creams. Great for vegetarians like me, and my friend who got the burger loved it.

Que Mas is a great addition to downtown Beverly! If you haven't checked it out, it's has to be on your short list of restaurants to try. Great food, great drinks, great vibe! What we ate: - Ceviche de Peru: Super fresh and served with taro chips - Miso Salmon: This dish was amazing!! The purple yam, sautéed baby kale and miso all pair amazingly well together. - Special: Fish & Chips. Large portion of perfectly fried fish, which was light at the same time. Great fries as well. We had a creative cocktail that was similar to a pisco sour but with an added strawberry twist.

    Me enjoying my Cesar salad.

We've dined here previously so when we realized we didn't have Thanksgiving plans and saw they were offering a 3-course prix fixe special menu we thought we'd give it a try. Best. Decision. Ever. My meal started with a fantastic twist on a classic Cesar salad -- traditional enough to please purists but with added grilled broccoli that added crunch and flavor. I went with the turkey dinner (turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed onions, stuffing, cranberry sauce) that was just like home -- if me and my family members were creative and accomplished chefs. Topped off with a slice of pecan pie that was also exceptional, and needed to come home with me for later as I was already full. Nancy had the curried mussels to start, the flat iron steak, and the pumpkin tiramisu and I can personally attest to the excellence of each it. The service was outstanding and the chef, Alex Padena, came around to our table before and after our meal, as did his celebrity-chef mother Lydia Shire who had helped with a couple of her own items on the menu. Overall and excellent meal. And if this becomes an annual event, we'll see you there next Thanksgiving.

I was super impressed with the service here!! Bri served us and we got all of our food/drinks timely as well as some special touches (fresh utensils between courses and a very clean table throughout the meal). I'm a former fine dining server and can be a bit picky about service, but she nailed it. Food was also good. I got the arugula salad and the Autumn in New England fall cocktail was delightful and well balanced. I am excited to come back and try the swordfish!!

Lunch on a windy March afternoon. We were warmly welcomed. Server was knowledgable and offered alternatives to today's menus. I had the cod sandwich, lightly battered, served on a brioche bun with lettuce and cornichons with an aioli sauce on the side. My wife had the Tijuana Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. She found the shrimp to be perfectly cooked, tender and moist. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Overall 5 stars for food, service, and ambiance. Will return very soon

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER THE BRICK CHICKEN. I never ever in a million years thought I would recommend a chicken dish, but this is quite literally the best chicken I have ever had in my life!!!! It came out PIPING hot which is just how I like it, and it was the perfect amount of tender and crispy. Truthfully, my husband ordered it for himself but I am pretty sure I ended up eating half of his meal because it was so good. Sadly I am not a local and can't eat this all the time, so please order it so I may live vicariously through you. Service was great, we felt very taken care of.

Estephanie was one of the rudest hosts we've ever met. Inside was empty. No wonder this restaurant went out of business.

Nothing on the menu or from the server mentioned that, which was disappointing right away. When I told the server I didn't like it and wanted something else, he literally tilted his head and said, "ummm what do I tell the bartender?" That honestly rubbed me the wrong way -- just felt unprofessional and awkward. Jenny got a tequila cosmo, which was fine, nothing special. Food-wise, everything was just average. The bao buns were overcooked and the bun fell apart, though the flavor was decent. The pineapple fried rice was probably the best thing we had, but even that was just okay. We also had dumplings -- Jenny liked them, but I thought they were just alright. Dessert was the biggest miss. The blueberry cobbler was not good at all -- maybe a 3/10 at best. One thing that really didn't sit right was when we asked to split the tasting menu and were told no. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed. Overall, nothing stood out in a good way, and between the service and the food, solid ambiance , it just wasn't a great experience.

"It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5

My two girlfriends and I ate dinner upstairs and then came down for some drinks. We would have had a perfect night there aside from the male bartender that was bald. He said his name was Ryan. One of the girls in my group wanted to go back to the hotel and me and my other friend wanted to stay because there was a drag show. We told the male bartender that we would be back because we were going to walk her to the hotel to make sure she made it safely. We went ahead and paid for the drinks we had already drank. (All three of us had one mixed drink that he brought to our table. The next was a shot that we went to the bar and got and brought back to our table. The last shot was the female bartender that brought it to us. So he literally took ONE singular order and brought it to our table at this point) We then walked our friend home and came directly back. We were gone for maybe 15 minutes. We got back and tried to get more drinks. My friend waited for at least 15 minutes trying to get a drink and was ignored. She started talking to a couple of other people at the bar and was trying to buy them a drink as well. Ryan, the bald tall bartender looked at my friend and told her "to be honest I'm not going to let you start a tab because you're a shitty tipper". He wouldn't even let her explain herself (though in my opinion she shouldn't have to) We told him we would be right back and we don't tip people until the end of the night because we tip one big amount. She got teary-eyed went ahead and left him a $30 tip. We didn't buy any more drinks the rest of the night because that was embarrassing and insanely rude. We tipped the people in the drag show so we spent our money on that instead and had a great time. If I was the owner of this business I would be getting rid of that guy as soon as possible. That's how you ruin your business. If that guy is more concerned about his tip than serving drinks, that place is going to go downhill quick. It's kind of unbelievable that a grown man had a little tantrum over only getting a few dollar tip when he only served us one singular drink at that point. Wild. And again, we were there to order many more drinks and stay the whole evening and then tip a generous amount at the end. I've been a server and I cannot imagine not serving because somebody only left you a few dollars when the night was JUST getting started. Also to be honest the lemon drop martini that he made me was ass. I'll post a picture of it though.

After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting with no service, we were about to leave when a server finally came to our table. Since they were obviously busy and weren't keeping up with the crowd that night, we tried to order two drinks each so they could save a little of their time and we could relax without worrying about if a server was going to take our order again before the end of the week. The server very sharply said that he was NOT going to give us two drinks at a time, CERTAINLY not with drinks of this high alcohol content. We ordered one drink each, cashed out and bounced. The cocktail I got was fine; I could make a slightly worse version at home at a fraction of the price (or even two at once!). We we were told later by a friendlier Salemite at a bar with a better vibe that there is a Massachusetts state law that prohibits having two drinks at once at a bar. Fair enough. Had our server told us that, unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to give us two drinks at once -- instead of making us feel like idiots/degenerates for daring to ask -- we probably would have dropped a lot of vacation money there that night. Oh well; we had a great time at the other places we went.
