We were really there for Side Door Sally's, which did not disappoint. Great service and speed from tje kitchen despite a huge party being there at the same time. The beer selection was solid, good frozen drinks, and the pizza was very good! Overall Great spot- true score 4.5. Wish it was closer to home.

Mango Mojito - bartenders are my fav here!

I'm OBSESSED with Bonefish. Weirdly thought I already left a raving review but here it is since it disappeared. Ever since I went for 1.50 oysters I've been obsessed with the way the place looks, the service, and the food. My favorite drink is the Mango Mojito! The bar is crazy cool and I would say the vibes are always great. Definitely check it out - the waitstaff and bartenders are attentive and helpful.

On a dreadfully cold January night had to pick a place to meet up with old co-workers to play catch up and when we tossed around where to go on the North Shore, we didn't want to hit the same old places. We wanted some place new, some place we hadn't been before. I hadn't been to Bonefish before. Sure, I went past it often. Beverly has lots of choices of where to eat. But this night I picked here, and boy am I glad I did. Given the frigid temps outside, the warm weather vibe inside was a welcome treat. Now, for the food. The menu will have something for everyone; burgers, fish & chips, Mac&Cheese, great apps. The service is just like the atmosphere: warm and friendly. While the place wasn't packed, we weren't ignored. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather as there is a fantastic patio/porch out back lit with colored lights and it's own bar. Regardless of the weather, you really should hit Bonefish Harry's!

We were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were great. Loved special I got- the zucchini boat with pesto risotto and scallops.

I'm honestly surprised by all the good reviews, do y'all not have tastebuds?…read more I love tacos. Love is an understatement. This was so off putting I refused to finish a taco out of my 3 taco meal. Played it safe, got the ground beef. The taco was greasy despite having the double tortilla layer which it had soaked through. The taco meat was very bland and there was a funky sweet taste to it, maybe because of the chipotle aioli? No cheese. No hot sauce. Between the texture and the taste, there was no way I was able to get past a couple bites. I thought the chips and salsa would be my saving grace, however there was zero salt on the chips and the salsa was just their pico de gallo. The pico was super watery and tasted like bland tomato water. No salt or flavor in there either. In addition, you can get a pretty good idea about a place's cleanliness based off what you can see going on in the kitchen. The cook was wearing gloves while scrolling on his/a phone and didn't change those gloves to make our food. Additionally, he went to the restroom with the gloves on and while he wasn't wearing by them when he came out, but it wasn't long enough thoroughly wash your hands. The staff were sitting on the stainless steel counters where meal prep is done. Just not a place I feel comfortable eating.

The one overarching adjective I have for this place is "solid." The tacos here aren't cheap, but…read morethey don't skimp in ingredients and for all of the tacos we ordered, we received solid, convincing pieces of meat. From the lobster to the shrimp to the fish, everything was so fresh and high quality that we were extremely impressed. Don't expect "authentic" Mexican tacos. These definitely have their own take on them - Baja California at times, New England lobster roll at times. But all extremely tasty, to the point I'd consider making a drive up here from Boston because the food is just that good. The real standout in our lineup today was the grilled corn. Don't miss it - we had a great time and can't wait to come back and sit in the bales of hay outside!

Nothing more annoying than a review that starts with "I'm from Texas/California and I know Mexican…read morefood" blah blah blah shut your trap. No one cares. But guess what? I'm from LA and also spent most of my life in NYC and I know what good Mexican food tastes like.... And guess what?! Howling Wolf might be the best Mexican food on the east coast. Sure, it's a little pricey ($19 for a burrito?! Really?) but I didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't speak to the level of service or detail that comes with that price. I did take out. I f***g hate take out but we were passing through Salem and it was cold and the gf didn't want to eat out. This is really amazing Mexican food. I got the steak tip burrito. 9.5 out of 10. Gf got quesadilla (with carne asada) and I noticed another diner said it was soggy. I disagree. But JUST order the steak tips. Next level. Absolutely loved it. Salsa - very acidic but delish. They also gave us enough for two meals. Guac, solid. Needed salt - but that's not a crime. Only criticism- no one greeted me when I came in. I worked in the food biz and I believe staff should acknowledge you exist within seconds if they aren't greeting/seating you. I waited for a bit and finally someone figured it out. But ya know what - who cares about that when the burrito is this good - best $19 ever spent. Howling wolf - congrats. You've done the impossible. You made good Mexican food in the North Shore and converted a food snob into a believer. Wolf people, I love you. I will howl at the moon and sing your praises forever. Keep doing gods work.
