I found my new favorite place in Danvers. I used to love a place in Milford, NH called Bar One before they closed (still bitter about that), but this is very similar; a high quality gastro-pub. I had a seafood casserole that was outstanding. The drinks were decent and the service was very good. It's a small place so plan around that but I may see you there with my wife. read more

Ok....... not sure how to begin here. I've been here at least a dozen times. But the last three times have been disappointing for several reasons. A month ago my wife and I went for dinner. During the meal we ordered something togo to bring home to the daughter. I waited for a half hour after our meal for the togo. When I mentioned to the waitress (some blonde) that "ya know that I waited a half hour for this togo," she "corrected" me and said it wasn't even twenty minutes. She was rude and wrong. Then last week I ordered there "craft pizza" which is usually outstanding, as their pizza always is. I've even bragged about how it's the best pizza in town now. Anyway, they bring me out this beat looking pizza with a 2 1/2" wide crust and the toppings all towards the middle. I even said to the waitress (different and better than the snooty blonde) what's going on?? Is there a different pizza person out back tonight?? Yes there was a different pizza person, who apparently still needs a considerable amount of training. Then tonight my son and his friend were dining and the waiter cleared their plates before they had even finished. I know this place is locally owned but if they can't be consistent and train their help they're doomed. I wanna be a huge fan. Get your shit together Craft. I will be back but am out of patience for poor service and poor food. Get back to me telling people you're the best pizza in town. Let me finish on a positive note. Solid pizza (usually), great fish and chips, solid burgers and chicken parm. Great fries as well. Fingers crossed. read more

Great menu and the food is good. Bartender is atrocious and condescending. She ruined our time both visits. Would love to come back on another day and hopefully she's not working. She's very talented, she definitely knows how to make a drink, but her personality makes me super uncomfortable. She acts like she's doing you a big favor. First time I came and had my daughter and I asked for margarita and she forgot to order an extra sweet.... so very, very very nicely asked the waitress to bring it back and just re-shake it with a little more agave, and of course the bartender is whispering about us and turning head and looking at us it was so embarrassing. Really welcoming and understated atmosphere. You're greeted right as you walk in. The service is excellent - our server Jordan was friendly, helpful, efficient and prompt. The food - we shared a Caesar salad and a few pizzas - really good!! I wanted to try everything on the menu. Honestly one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had - the dressing has a little touch of lemony lightness and just the right enough - not heavy at all. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. Perfect! The pizza was really tasty. It had a nice thin-ish crust, great sauce and just enough cheese, and we ordered different toppings for each pizza. It was the perfect dinner for a Friday night! Thoughtful bartender actually asked if my dry martini should include any vermouth to which I said yes but just a little... most bartenders today assume you want zero vermouth! I had fish tacos that were world class... soft shell had hard shell sprinklings... many spices. Servers were covering a lot of folks but we're cheerful and attentive... If you love mid bar food, and sports and the ambiance of every bar rescue bar then this place is for you. The bartender was kind but while I would have ordered a second drink if they came back to ask me, they never did. The best thing on the menu was the fries, some were between a chip and a frie. The burger was mid, and the bun was stale. The vibe was not for me as they had the sound on the tvs to watch the game and I didn't care for listening to commercials and other people's phones while I ate. My friend and I came in to check out Craft on their opening night and loved every single thing about it. The atmosphere/decor was warm and inviting. The bartenders were on point with their cocktails and fun to chat with. The owners were present, attentive, and also a pleasure to connect with. And the food was delish! We had the crispy pork belly, calamari, Caesar salad, mushroom pizza, and the wagyu sliders - my personal fav. So happy to have a place like this is downtown Danvers. Kudos to the entire team and thank you all for an amazing first night experience - I can't wait to visit again and try more of the menu! read more

For a restaurant that was very recently opened, I was pleasantly surprised. There were no hiccups or issues with our food or service. Our waitress was very attentive. We had the charcuterie board & chicken birria tacos. Both we fantastic. We split the Cuban pizza which was also delicious. This will definitely be a new go-to spot for us. read more

Stopped by today to check out Craft with a friend. So many good reviews I was optimistic. The place is small but had a good vibe. The bartenders were attentive, we had a drink and then ordered the gyro fries, sadly the fries were terrible in every way possible. Cold hard fries that seem to have been cooked days ago covered in cold meat. It was really disappointing - I assume we hit a bad time based on the other reviews. I'll try again at some point, but not soon. read more

Went out for dinner and was very underwhelming. Seated at a table and took at least 20 minutes to get a drink order in. For appetizer we got the calamari that looked like it came out of the microwave. Entrees were the salmon and steak frites. The crispy salmon skin salmon was not crispy and the steak frites ordered rare were medium well and came without a demi glaze or onion jam. The shoestring fries were just regular fries. Sent it back for the tips with sprouts instead of mashed because they did look good. Tips were cooked to my liking but they just sent back sprouts and fries. Seemed like they just swapped the frites for tips and did bot include the broccolini. No mushroom peppers or onions either. Service was very slow. Would have been a 1 star but they gave me a free beer. read more

We arrived and they sat us quickly but we were waiting 20 minutes and no one came up to us at all. Even the hostesses saw us getting up and didn't even bother to ask why. Not a single waiter came by to give us water. It wasn't busy at all and the waiters were standing up against the walls and didn't even look our way. Just very uncomfortable and not friendly.
