I ordered my usual, I tip every time, it's mostly self serve- but I was a barista so, I tip.... At any rate, I waited and waited (15min), my drink never came up. I calmly told the girl with brown curly hair that I never received my beverage- she snapped back- "I made this already" I again calmly said well, I never got it. She rolled her eyes, proceeded to make other orders as I stood there and then finally "remade" my drink. I told her, look, I come here weekly, I tip and I appreciate you remaking this. She stared at me blankly - I said, so, thank you... no response- I said again thank you? Still nothing... in the service industry and no common courtesy.... Disappointing

I couldn't taste much lavender flavor and the honey settled at the bottom of the cup, but the matcha itself was strong! I'd order it again, but maybe plain or with a simple syrup and stir before drinking. The pastry was delicious and I would order it again, although I wish it was hot! My friend ordered the Corn Cheese Donuts (came with 3) and an iced Tiramisu Latte. She thought the latte was good but a bit too milky for her taste. The corn donuts were fantastic! The outside/shell is a chewy texture and rolled in sugar, and the inside is hollow and filled with a corn cheese mixture--would definitely order again. The workers were nice and our drinks came out quickly. The interior of this location is nice and bright with many tables to hang out and chat, and some have outlets if you're looking for a place to work. Most of the bakery items (not the cakes though) are in self-serve pastry cases so you take a tray, wax paper, and tongs to grab whatever pastries you want before checking out at the counter, where you can order drinks as well. This is a great place to meet up with friends to catch up, or to grab a pastry and drink to go. I'm excited to try more of their selection!

I stopped in today and, as always, ended up finding way more than I planned. First, you absolutely cannot leave without trying the bakery. I picked up their pecan salted caramel brownies, and these things are KILLER ( thus their name Killer Brownies) They have one of the best bakery selections I've come across, and everything looked so fresh and tempting. I also grabbed some sourdough bread and a salted soft pretzel. Their meat selection is fantastic too. We picked up some specialty brats, including Hawaiian brats with pineapple and brown sugar and Bourbon Peach brats. I also couldn't resist their gourmet blended burgers. For my wife, I grabbed the Steakhouse Burger, which is infused with provolone, A.1. sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. For myself, I went with the Philly Burger, loaded with peppers, onions, and cheese sauce. Talk about taking burgers to another level! Yes, Dorothy Lane Market is more expensive than your average grocery store, but you can really see and taste the difference in the quality. From the bakery to the specialty meats and prepared foods, this is definitely a place where you're paying for quality. If you're a foodie--or just like discovering great specialty grocery stores--Dorothy Lane Market is worth the trip. I walked in for a few things and walked out with enough food to plan several meals. Five stars from me! Another great food find in Ohio! -- Brian, from Brian's Big Bite food reviews

The bakery has cakes, Dubai chocolate bars and many treats to choose from. There's seating upstairs if you decide to dine there. I saw staff walking around assessing needs of the facility and helping patrons. Everyone was nice and helpful and the vibes were chill, easy shopping experience. I've been before and will definitely return again and again. This has beat out Farmer's Market for me. They have a coffee bar that makes various coffee, tea and breakfast options. Great place for groceries and meals.

I'm especially obsessed with their Chocolate Chip Cookie Thin. As someone who loves lace cookies, I really appreciate the extra crunch. It has that crisp, caramelized texture while still delivering everything you want from a classic chocolate chip cookie. The buttery cookie and balanced chocolate flavor just hit the spot every time. Sometimes you don't need anything fancy--you just want a really good chocolate chip cookie, and this one delivers. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not a fan of every cookie of theirs. There were ones that are very questionable to me, too. But I'd just want to highlight the one I like and the one I run into their store to grab for a quick fix.

When got ready to serve the cookies I found a very long dark hair baked into the cookie. The next day I called Crumbl and politely explained to the manager about the cookie and how worried I was that someone else may find a hair. And how the hairy cookie/cookies tainted my event. I asked for some kind of compensation, gift card.... Something of an "I'm sorry on their end". The store manager said I'd have to speak to the district manager because she couldn't do anything for me. I called the next day (when the district manager was supposed to be in). I was told she was out and to call back. I called back a couple hours later and the district manager was supposedly still out. I then left my number as suggested by the store manager. She said she would text the district manager to call me. It's been over a week and I've had this "hairy cookie" in my purse to drop it by the store as proof. The cookie now really is "crumbled" . Idk what's happening at the Mason Crumbl. But I'd suggest visiting another store or perhaps finding another place for specialty treats for your guests!! It saddens me! Because both my husband and I work in Mason. This location is convenient for us... the specialness of a Crumbl cookie has lost its flavor!
