First off, the location is on a busy street with very little parking so plan on getting there early to make arrangements if needed. There are spots behind the building but there are only a couple of spots shared between several shops, and they're all clearly labeled as either 30 or 60 min max, so I'm not sure how you're supposed to plan for a 90-min service. The last thing you want to be worrying about is getting a parking ticket during your special "me time." When I got to the door a few minutes early, there was no one there and it was locked. They were only like 5-10 min late and gave us our full time but it was a little odd knocking on the door. As we were getting situated in our rooms there was one lady trying to run back and forth telling us what to do and complete our initial consultations, so maybe someone was late to work that day? It was giving 90s Disney movie vibes where one person was trying to attend two events at the same time without anyone noticing. As a result, I'm not sure I was ever really aligned properly on the massage chair and it kept digging into my neck? It was very sore the next day, and not in the "I just had a massage vibe." The chair latched you in at the arms and legs so she kept telling me to slide up and down, presumably to align my head with the water? I just feel like I never quite had it right. A second technician arrived eventually and we continued on with the services, which were fun and interesting, and different. I loved seeing my scalp up close in their little microscope/camera. My hair came out super shiny and soft and I would try this again, but probably not on the regular. After the treatment we enjoyed tea and some sort of cracker/chip to go with it in the lobby, who can was a perfect end to our afternoon. This was an okay experience.

The area where you get your scalp analyzed and blow dried is a communal space, but the treatments were done in a private place. The private space is dark and cozy, with a full body massage pod you lay in as your treatments are performed. I will say if you're claustrophobic, this pod isn't for you as it's constricting a bit (they have you place your arms and legs in these slots to be massaged. The services were so relaxing and I felt so refreshed after. I would highly recommend this place. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. Before booking, I called and was told they would help us figure out which treatment would be best. Once there, we were told I had an oily scalp/cuticle and dandruff and was encouraged to add additional treatments for an extra $20. From the beginning, there was also a strong push to upsell facials, but very little explanation about what the facials actually included. Because of the language barrier, it did not feel comfortable agreeing to additional services we did not fully understand. The actual scalp massage was extremely aggressive. They started with shoulder and neck massage, then moved to the scalp. The pressure was way too intense. I had to ask multiple times for her to lessen the pressure because it felt more like my hair was being tugged and scraped than massaged. Toward the end, they used some type of rolling contraption on my scalp that was also uncomfortable. I genuinely cannot imagine how painful it would have been if I had not spoken up. The experience also was not very accommodating for curly hair. During the blow dry, I ended up detangling my own hair because it seemed like she did not know how to handle curly hair properly. Most importantly, my mom had an even worse experience. It has now been over 24 hours, and her scalp is still so painful she cannot even touch her head comfortably. She has bumps and tenderness like her scalp was bruised. Update ! 72 hours later and her poor head still hurts. A scalp treatment should not leave someone feeling injured afterward. This was not relaxing, soothing, or spa-like in any way. It honestly felt rough and overly aggressive from start to finish. I would never return to this location, and I strongly encourage people to speak up immediately if the pressure feels too intense.
