NOT HAPPY!! We had gift certificates and they said we could not use them. We were told the expiration dates were no longer used and it was ok to use the certificates. The owner was not around and not answering the phone. The lady who bought the certificates has been coming here for many many years and was told no expectation dates on gift certificates when she got them. This is an older lady and they took advantage of her!! NOT COOL!!the wax dip was not clean and gross. They couldn't open it either. The pedicure was good but you list 4 costumers!! read more

Cleanliness: 5/5 Friendliness: 4/5 Shellac Manicure: 5/5 In depth review: Good: So this is my first time to Queen Nails and Tanning Salon and my first impression was that the place was really clean. In other salons, the walls look terrible and the floor is a mess, but this place was spotless. I got shellac with black colored tips. Tiffany did a great job cutting my cuticles and for the first time she cut them well without making them bleed. She also asked me if I liked how the manicure look during mid-way, which I appreciated. I was charged $32, which is standard salon price in Northern VA. Another lady also did a great job with my boyfriend's manicure, which cost $12. Bad: Before they realize I was Vietnamese, they were speaking quite loudly to each other and had no problem talking about their clients (both good and bad things). After they realize I was Vietnamese, they discontinued any inappropriate conversations. Don't go here if you plan on conversing with the workers. I didn't care to talk with them much. Also, the lady offered to clean up my boyfriend's eyebrows. What she didn't tell him was that she was going to wax them (this is his second time being at a salon). He came out with his waxed eyebrows and both of us agreed it looked a bit too feminine. He thought cleaning up meant plucking stray eyebrows strands, not waxing. Again, the worker could have made things clearer before putting the wax on his eyelids. read more

I went and got two gel manicures, one for me, one for my sister. Let me begin by saying my sisters nails are absolutely beautiful. However, mine were not done properly and since the polish did not go all the way back to the cuticle it looks like they are a week old already. These photos were taken 20 minutes after she finished. My first time coming here, I haven't had a pedicure in nearly two years, and I'm new to the area. I decided to come here because of Yelp! -- I was not disappointed. The price was average, and I went with the complete spa pedicure. I know I have stubborn toes, but that wasn't a problem for the tech. The people there were very friendly, took their time, and made sure everything was okay. Will be returning here again for a manicure in the coming weeks. I can believe I called two hours before my appointment and when I get there I wait for 1 hour and then they told me I have to wait more and then I saw other people coming without appointments doing there nails first . I have to leave and go somewhere else because they didn't want to do my pedicure and manicure. I'm disappointed with this place . They make waisted my time . 93° outside and they refused to turn on the air conditioning I told them I have a heart condition and I was just ignored and told they wanted the window open I told him that it was still way too hot and it's not like a place you can just go in and out I was already in there and starting to feel very sick I felt like I was going to throw up or pass out still refuse to help did not offer me a water or to put the air-conditioning on I will never go back they must be not doing well and trying to save money but when somebody keeps asking and saying they are feeling sick they should accommodate that person I have been coming here for several years but will not be coming back again read more

I had a pleasant experience at the nail salon very straight to the point and convient location close to where I live and work. Anna does a wonderful job with my nails, she takes her time to get into the "nooks and crannys" of my toes which I appreciate because I have a bad toe. Anna is a nice young girl who knows what she's doing. I got a "Spa Pedicure" and Gel Manicure very happy with both I will say I don't come here for the environment that they do lack but overall I'll continue to come. read more

We usually don't have problems with Linda, I highly recommend her. She takes her time and treats you the way you should be treated. But the others rush through when doing a pedicure. Just two nights ago my daughter and I went to get a pedicure and I lucky had Linda but my daughter had someone else and they hurt her heel and cut deep into it with the callus remover that has a blade. Until this day she has pain. I won't be going back anymore. Because this isn't the first time that it happens. read more

First time in here and the place was a mess floors were sticky it wasn't busy but for some reason I had to wait 20 minutes before even being seated? But I sat down and they gave me a used rag while doing my nails and had to make them get another one. Went there for a mani pedi recently. The surroundings are not luxurious by any means and not all the technicians can speak great English. However, the end result was very good and the pedicure especially looked and felt great. I don't have gel, acrylic, or shellac on my nails so the color choice for that is a bit limited ( next time I will take my own) They do offer other services like tanning, massage and waxing which I have not tried. I went on a Sunday but I made an appointment prior to going, which is just as well because it was busy and there were a lot of walk ins. Parking outside and easy to find a spot. People always say that the nail techs always talk crap about the customers but the ladies here are really nice and talk to their customers instead of speaking among themselves. My mom has been coming here since I was a little girl and now I come here and they always remember my mom when I go alone. Everyone does an amazing job and the friendliest ladies in town! Also great prices! I need a refill and I was considering another salon but they wanted to charge me $35 and I paid $45 for a full set at Queen's! yeah right, I'm just going to stick to what I trust. ;) read more

My mom and I have been going to Julie &Tammy for years. They always do an amazing good. The other ladies also do a great job and they are very accomodating for walk-ins. Everyone is so nice there. The prices are really good for the area. I usually get a mani and pedi every other week with Julie and it's only $36. Usually at other places you could expect to pay $50+ for a mani and pedi that looks really crappy. And I live in Ashburn so I could easily go to one of those fancy nail salons but I choose Queen Nails. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Went in to get my nails done and I spent almost three hours on a chair with three women working on my nails because EVERY SINGLE nail polish they tried to paint my nails with would turn out cloudy after drying (I did not ask for matte nails). First woman was working on my nails very fast cause she was trying to leave and the last two that tried to fix the cloudy nail polish and couldn't told me to come back so I could get them painted again. I had to borrow a nail polish from a friend at 8pm so I could go home to fix my nails for a party I had the next day. When I took the 10 layers of cloudy red nail polish off the polish got stuck on my cuticles and looked extremely ugly so when I went back I asked the nail tech to make sure that came off and when she couldn't take it off she started blaming the whole thing on me in front of a lot of customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. read more
