I have never bought a product, however WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM, she will explain everything and anything to me. She never has to research a machine, a product, or a procedure to rely accurate information. Also, she has the best smile! 2. They are always updating with new equipment and technologies. 3. It is clean. 4. Easy to check in. 5. I can place my membership on hold for a nominal fee. 5. The entire staff is courteous. Its a very young person-vibe. I recommend going there. read more

It was my first time there so I was completely clueless about anything having to do with spray tanning. The woman at the front desk asked us questions (I was with a friend who was also new to spray tans) and we told her we were new and needed lots of guidance. Anytime she would ask a question and we didn't know what she meant she would awkwardly laugh at us. Maybe it is super rare to get first time tanners. She was very helpful when it came time to using the machine, but oh my goodness. The machine kept repeating that it was heated but it was so incredibly cold and miserable! And once we got out of the machines our faces were a disaster! It was super splotchy on both of us. I went home and washed my face right away. I don't think I ever need to get a spray tanning again, at least not from here. read more

A rip-off! The contracts you have to sign are insane. They do everything they can to make the cancellation process almost impossible and they renew your membership when you have stopped it. and they refuse to refund you. Worse business practice. read more

This is one of my favorite Palm Beach Tans. The staff is always friendly, the beds are always clean and they are always up front about wait times during busy season. I have tanned at a couple of other salons in the area over the years, and as a whole PBT is far superior. You get exactly what you pay for. I wish they would get either an I-dome or a Sun Angel at this location, but it's still a great store none the less. read more

THE BEDS ARE DIRTY EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO TO THIS LOCATION. I've complained to the manager, district manager and even corporate, but nothing ever changes. I like Palm Beach Tan, I've been a member for over 5 years and I will continue to go here, but I'm just letting future customers know to check your beds (top bed also) thoroughly, there are always smudge marks left and sweat marks. It's unfortunate with everything you hear about COVID on surfaces and all the signs throughout the salon stating they take cleaning serious, when actually they don't. Just a head's up. read more

I was really worried but it turned out great! The service is top notch and everyone is very knowledgeable of beds and products. I own a business and I understand that they make good margin on product, but I think me saying "no thank you" once should be enough and I shouldn't need to justify my decision or fend off an attempt to make me feel guilty. Four solid stars! I think I have a sunshine button...that is to say, I love the Spring and Summer months when days are longer and I can feel the warm rays beaming on my face and shoulders. When Winter comes around and days are shorter and darker, I just don't feel as happy. Enter PBT of Herndon. They offer a bit of happy sunshine even during snowmageddon using beds that are clean, relatively new, and seemingly well maintained. You can filter out damaging rays to your face by turning off the facial tanners on the higher end beds, and getting inside one of the ultra-modern ones with tons of buttons, lights, and vents feels a bit like climbing into a spaceship:-). The line of skin care products is formidable and there is always a discount of 30% once you sign up for a subscription at the diamond level. Another great service I use (more frequently) is the Versa Spa spray bronzer. It takes about 10 minutes, looks very natural, includes an anti-aging moisturizer, and lasts for almost a week. You can choose the level (I choose lev 1 during winter and 2 in warmer months) for a natural glow all year round without any UV whatsoever. They also have some "at home" products that let you touch up in between visits, but it is a bit pricey. The girls are always friendly and helpful when I visit; they remember the regulars and accommodate requests. I sometimes do a "cocktail" which includes a few minutes in the regular tanning bed plus a sunless bronzing spray visit. This place is open until very late on week nights and until 9 on Sundays so it's convenient for me to use. read more

If I could give this place zero starts I would. The spray machine with 4 steps you CANNOT HEAR the steps and the front desk is aware of this apparently and does not even give proper instructions. Miranda, apparently told me I would not be able to hear the machine?! So why is this machine still in operation?! She also had a complete meltdown over my refund request, called her manager on speaker, and continued with the uncalled for attitude. Who would pay for a spray tan they now need to go home and remove due to a faulty machine? Customer service was absolutely horrendous! She also told me she processed my refund but didn't know how to do it so she credited the account instead and when I asked for proof, she then asked her manager how to do a refund - which was then actually refunded/voided. Horrendous customer service and faulty spray tan machines. Do not come here. A simple issue became a nightmare for no reason at all. Training is imperative here. read more

Pricier than most. Disorganized staff. Long waits. Very high prices, but the beds are no better than other area salons. I've given this place a few chances, but have been disappointed. On 2 occasions, one or more facial bulbs were burnt out in the bed, and of course I didn't notice until I was already in. I asked for a refund or at least partial credit, but all I got was a half-hearted "sorry". Wait times are VERY long at times. Check in system is a MESS...plan to spend several minutes to checking in, give your name several times, wait while the computer doesn't work, etc. The staff seems ok but really disorganized. Exception is the store manager who is unfriendly and fake to the point of being a real turnoff. She seems quite unhappy, either with her weight or life in general. So.. I tried to use this $24.95 membership coupon on here last night and it is a huge waste of time. First of all, what it doesn't tell you is you can only tan once a month with it!!!! What kind of membership is that? And FYI their spray tans are SO over priced... $55 a piece. Other places are about 30 at most and there is a place in Fairfax that charges $15 after 10pm so I just went there. Palm Beach Tan salons on the west coast are no where near that price. So that's how she tried to explain this one time a month tan membership was cost effective except you also have to pay $20 to start it LOL. Don't waste you time. A spray tan is a makeup solution that wears off in a week or less. Anyone paying $55 without looking around for something less is either getting taken advantage of or really dumb. They're tanning deal is such a steal; 20$ a month for their bronze beds. I've only had to wait for a bed once in the 4 months I've been a member here. Also, I've gotten irritation bumps on my legs from tanning at other salons before but it's never happened here. I read that it happens because the workers don't clean it well enough/sanitize it enough, so I'm very happy with this salon and their cleanliness. They also provide goggles while other places made me bring/buy them myself. I wish they had tanning stickers though! read more

I am so happy with my Versa spray tan! I got so many compliments on how natural and great it looked. It lasted about 4 days, but I didn't do much to maintain it and swam in the ocean a few times. I wanted to give NO stars but it will not let me. The staff was unfriendly. And I had left my drivers license at home so they said they couldn't put me in their system without it and I therefore couldn't get a tan. I had cash but was not willing to waste my time going back home to get my license when there was no logical reason for it. I am 54 so it was not an age issue. They must hound you later and don't want any fake addresses.. LOL. Who knew you needed identification to get a tan..OH wait just GO SOMEWHERE ELSE like Solar Tan in Reston. They were more than happy to take my money without identfication and were extremely pleasant. read more
