However, partway through my shellac manicure, she was sent to do a pedicure for another customer. Another woman, who seemed to be the owner, stepped in with no introduction or explanation and just continued the service. I had asked for an almond-square shape, but she did a square shape instead, which wasn't what I wanted. I decided to let that go at the time. Unfortunately, the shellac started chipping just two days later, and another nail chipped on day 7. Normally, my shellac lasts over two weeks without issue, so I was really disappointed in the quality. Overall, I appreciated the convenience and the quick seating, but the communication, attention to detail, and durability of the manicure fell short.

My cuticles were not properly pushed back or cleaned up, the French tips were uneven, and the overall finish looked messy and unfinished. I've included photos because the quality speaks for itself. What bothered me even more was how my concerns were handled. I addressed the issues with my nail tech THREE separate times during my appointment, and instead of correcting them, she continued with the service and essentially ignored what I was asking her to fix. When it was time to pay, I explained everything to the owner. Her response was that I should have addressed the issues while my nails were being done. I explained that I DID three times. She then suggested that maybe the nail tech "didn't understand me." That was not the issue. I clearly communicated what I was unhappy with and gave them multiple opportunities to correct it. Instead of acknowledging the poor service or trying to make the situation right, the response felt defensive and dismissive. I don't expect absolute perfection, but I do expect a professional manicure and for my concerns to be taken seriously, especially when I'm speaking up DURING the service. Unfortunately, neither happened here. I left feeling like they cared more about defending the work than making sure their customer was satisfied.

Don't waste your time or money at this dirty, filthy overpriced establishment!!! It's gross in there, nothing "upscale" about it!!

I hate to say it because I've loved how my nails have turned out in the past but sadly I've had 3 very bad experiences with them since my last Review and will no longer travel all the way to Everett the last time I booked an appointment for a full set and was told the tech didn't have enough time to do them so I said that was okay if she could in fact do the design I asked for on the nails the design turned out horrible she rushed through the service and proceeded to take a walk in appointment after me so it wasn't that she didn't have time she just didn't want to do the work wish she would have said that before ruining my nails I'm not horribly picky and I always come in with back up designs just in case my tech can't do the one I'm asking for but this was the last chance I'll ever give them never going back wouldn't suggest it to anyone else either my nails were sloppily painted started to peel the same day and the acrylic was filled unevenly don't waste the time or money ladies read more

I recently visited this nail salon hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, the service fell short of my expectations. While the quality of their work is commendable, I cannot overlook the abysmal customer service I encountered. Despite calling ahead to inquire about a simple nail fix, I was met with disappointment. After being assured that they could accommodate me, I arrived only to be left waiting for an excruciatingly long 1 1/2 hours for just one nail repair. What's worse is the attitude of the staff, particularly the person who answered the phone. Their demeanor was incredibly rude, and it was evident that their friendliness was nothing but a façade. Given the combination of poor service and unprofessional behavior, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. While their nail technicians may be skilled, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. For me, it's a one-star rating. read more

I've been getting my nails done and getting pedicures for years. Kim is the professional that I go to, she's got a good sense of humor and is happy help me get what I need. I don't have to explain every time I go in how I need my nails done,Kim knows exactly what to do...and she's spot on. Jenny is the owner, I think she has a professional crew of people that are representing Q-Nails. I like everybody that is working there. I also like and think it's important that Jenny is always getting the latest style in nails...and almost every time I go in it seems like she has something new, always upgrading. I called on a Tuesday made an appointment for Thursday afternoon with Tracy, when I arrived it was very busy I was greeted immediately. The atmosphere was great, The employees were nice to me. I have fallen in love with dip powder manicures but have struggled finding a location that met my needs. After doing some review research I called Queen Nails and they told me I could come in today! I was there within 15minutes, was seated immediately. I don't know how anyone could not like this place. I have been coming here for awhile and I never leave disappointed. I am always greeted so kindly and never have to wait long at all. Sean always does my nails and does them fast. To the people who think they get rushed, speediness is effective. My nails are always on point after every service and I'm always getting compliments. Very impressed by my first visit! I came in on a Friday afternoon around 3PM. I got a fill and pedicure with a design. I really am blown away by how my nails look! My feet were looking AWFUL before I came in. Skin was peeling, toenails long as heck, and just ugly. Thanks to Queen Nails my boyfriend doesn't scream when I take my shoes off anymore! I usually go to nail techs because the quality is better and and price is affordable; I couldn't make it to anyone so last minute & so early. I appreciate how detail oriented they are when it comes to their customers and even saw a technician redo a customer's nails after she had just walked out for free. Even during covid Queen nails do an amazing job being careful with the new restrictions while doing their best work and making you feel comfortable. My daughter found this place right on Everett Mall Way close to Target. She'd been raving about it for months, and now I know why. Staff is so welcoming and fun. No problem getting exactly what you want done. We both needed toes and nails done so they put two people on each of us and we were done in less then an hour. That massage was pure heaven and the nail tech (Rose) really got into the muscles. I chose the mid-range pedi at $50 (not the basic one ($30ish?) and not the high-end one ($70) and she also massaged with warm stones. She noticed I picked a color where the sample nail had a handful of coats on it, and mentioned it was pretty sheer unless I wanted a bunch of coats. Because I have weak nails, I was grateful for her advice (it would never dry with that many coats) and I was happy with a similar color that she chose that wouldn't need more than two coats. As another reviewer has mentioned, I almost didn't write this review because it might make it more busy for when I go next Being new to the area and having tried two other nail salons and been displeased, I have now found my nail salon! Apparently they do great nail art and I can't wait to try that out as well. FYI because I always like to know before going to a new salon, 1.Even though it says "walk-ins welcome," don't make the trek and get disappointed if they're booked - CALL FIRST 2. They accept credit cards and you can use your card to tip 3. They have WiFi 4. They have regular nail polish in addition to all the gels/dips, etc. One nail salon I went to in the area had ONLY gel and didn't tell me, even when I asked to see their non-gel colors (found myself getting gel painted on and it was too late and I didn't want to cause a scene).
