This spot has the softest, most fresh donuts I've ever had. Anytime we come for Mariscos across the street, we come here for dessert. There's even a little patio seating area to have your quick bite. The lady there is always really nice.

A quick and easy stop for donuts. Food: I bought an assorted dozen and I think the cashier gave a great selection of some classic donuts. I also got a sausage and egg croissant and it was okay. I was taken a little back that i wasn't a sausage patty but actually two sausage links cut in half. Nevertheless, it was okay to eat. Customer Service: There is a bit of a language barrier but I had not problem communicating with cashier and getting exactly what I wanted. They were super friendly and got me in and out pretty quick. Parking: They had a huge parking lot behind the shop and are also equipped with a drive-thru which is pretty cool. Seating: This is the space where they lost a star with me. The outside did have some benches and seats but they were still stored away so you couldn't use them. There were also a few folks panhandling on the property that made waiting for my order a little uncomfortable. The shop and food were great, but just didn't like the atmosphere that surrounded ordering.

I had an AMAZING experience at La Verne Miss Donut and Bagel! I ordered the Sugar Donut ($1.95)…read more It's HUGE, very fresh, and very fluffy. I couldn't contain a chipper smile as I bit into its soft, delicious body. YUM! (Important: There's an $8 Minimum Purchase Limit for Card Payments. Fortunately, if you use card, there's no added fee. If buying less, you need to pay with cash.) I arrived at La Verne Miss Donut and Bagel on Sunday (around 7:53AM). The parking is very BIG! There's plenty of parking. It shares the plaza with the Panera Bread. Also, I noticed nonstop customers quickly entering and exiting. Staff is VERY friendly and welcoming. Staff is respectful, hard working, and charming. Staff cheerfully greeted customers as they entered. Staff also happily answered all my questions. In addition, this is the rare donut shop that actually matched their menu's price of $1.95 instead of rounding it to $2. Great care. On ambiance, La Verne Miss Donut and Bagel is very clean and welcoming. The location is shiny and inviting. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer, and this location was selling face masks. There's also several very clean tables available to sit at. The ventilation felt comfortable, and I happily munched on this delightful donut. Overall, La Verne Miss Donut and Bagel is one of the best donut spots in the SGV! I left impressed with their strong worth ethic, friendliness, and delicious goods. If you love donuts, this is an EASY recommendation. 5 out of 5!!!!

Never a rainy day when you got sunshine!…read more Ever since I started working nearby for the past year I've been coming to Sunshine Donuts at least twice a week. It's a small humble shop that's family owned and operated. You will always be greeted by them whenever you come in and if you go enough, you may even get to know them better and have a conversation. Their doughnuts and pastries are made fresh daily and some of them even sell out within the beginning of the day. My coworker always order a heated cheese danish but sometimes they run out. They're just that good! I, myself, am not so much of a doughnut guy but I love their cake doughnuts with sprinkles and old fashioned doughnuts. They even have made to order breakfast sandwiches and you can choose either a croissant or a bagel to use. They also have coffee available and other drinks like milk or juice to pair with your breakfast. Additionally, they have other sweet treats such as ice cream, smoothies, and teas you can add boba to! My go to order when I clock in for a long day is a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. The sandwich comes out to $5.25, which I think is a great price. Sometimes I like to add jalapeños depending on how I feel for an extra 25 cents. Either way, this could be the best breakfast sandwich I've had. Shoutout to Tiger, the owner's son, for always making it fire! I also add on a vanilla iced coffee for $3.50. Keep in mind that they do charge 75 cents for debit/credit card use so in total my go to breakfast comes out to $9.50 or $9.75 depending if I get the jalapeños. For this day and age, any meal you can get for under $10 is a great deal. I would definitely consider myself a regular!
