I've gone here a couple times and brought my niece there too. We've tried several flavors of their mochinut donuts and they were pretty good, but definitely a different texture than regular donuts. They have fun, creative flavors, but my favorite was the strawberry funnel cake. My husband really like the matcha flavor. We also tried the half dog/half cheese in the traditional, potato and Cheeto flavors. I thought they were all a little sweet, and my niece didn't like the Cheeto flavor. I'm not sure I'd get those again. The donuts are a little pricey, but if we had friends over who had never tried it and wanted to try them, I'd pick some up for them. Other than that, I'd probably stick to regular donuts and corndogs. If you're in the mood to try something different, I'd say give it a shot though. read more

For the food being served by one person at the time we came into the restaurant, the meal was amazing! We arrived at 8:50 pm and it was only one guy manning the station. He served our food within 10 minutes while taking other peoples orders! The restaurant environment is pretty similar to Dave's hot chicken but more with an Asian flare to it. So happy that they opened one in this area. I used to have the mochinut in Ktown. I hope this one can be successful at this location. After you have once of the Mochinut, u will be falling in love. They are not over sweet, very chewy, and with a lot of flavors! I still have not tried the Korean style hot dog yet, but the seasonal ones (in blue) look fun! Quiet place. Offers a variety of Korean corn dogs. From ramen to Hot Cheeto to blue Taki's. I ordered the sliders (hot) and fries. Fries were seasoned nicely. Spice level was just right. An option for cheese on the slider would be nice, but all in all I would return. read more

I never thought hot chicken and milk tea would go together, but wow--they're a perfect match. And their strawberry milk tea & brown sugar milk tea tastes even better than most boba shops I've been to. If you can't handle spice, don't worry--they've got a no-spice version too. Trying a Korean Hot Dog for the first time! So excited! I ended ordering an original half and half and a potato half and half. The gentleman at the counter took my order was pleasant and helped me with my decision on what to order. The mochi donuts look amazing but that is going to be for another time. While waiting for my hot dogs, one other person came in. Seems like she has been here before and ordered quickly and left. No one else is here. Not sure if people don't know about this place or maybe is it is on the slower side since school is out for the summer. First impression, they are very cheesy. The cheese pull is crazy! Super fresh. Flavor is pretty good. Not really what I was expecting. But overall decent first experience. I tried them with no condiments to get the full experience without "doctoring" them up. Seem like a nice place decided to check it out unfortunately our experience wasn't the best our corn dogs had raw batter still on the inside. Would recommend maybe less batter or more cooking time. He just so happen to drive by and walk in and out was great decision! The food was absolutely delicious fresh and juicy, to perfection. I got a combo that came with Slider chicken sandwich with they home made coleslaw and a chicken strip with fries! The fries where seasoned just right as well. The size of the portions where so big and I'm not complaining he was very generous with the servings. We loved the food we will definitely be back again. Okay, so two words SUPER YUMMY! My bf went to pick up something from the new chicken menu as it seems ownership has changed from Mochinut to RT66 Hot Chicken. They have a grand opening special where if you purchase one chicken item, you get a free original hotdog free. (Korean hotdog) We got the 2 HOT Chicken slider combo to share. The Hot is the hottest you can get and it's JUST RIGHT. It's not unbearable if you love Hot spice level. It doesn't linger very long either which is nice. I love spicy food and this one is perfect! The tenders are big too so one slider is perfect, especially since we got the hotdog too. Also, the fries are delicious. Perfect crunch and soft in the middle. Ambiance is nice and clean. Lots of fun LED lights everywhere. Service was great too. My bf said the guy at the register was very nice and answered all of his questions without issues. Totally recommend, check them out. A very colorful store so it's super fun and welcoming however the girl working inside didn't seem to be so friendly. I love the flavor selection this week and I feel like this location has way more flavors then other places! We got the 6 box & it was $17.50!! Tasty mochi donuts. It is unlike the third culture bakery (bay area) mochi donuts that tend towards a more mochi texture--mochinut has a more donut than mochi texture so it is a bit airier. Flavors are all pretty good but seems a bit limited. Some look less appetizing than others. Korean hotdog was very fried, almost couldnt taste the potatoes on the outside. Maybe not my favorite fried hotdog that I've tried. read more

Just heard about this franchise yesterday and I had to try it since we were in the area. We did the half dozen; matcha Oreo, raspberry funnel cake, two s'mores, chocolate churro, & pocky strawberry. They were quite tasty. I liked the crunch of my matcha Oreo. It was a good balance of the two. All the donuts had the crunch on the outside and the softness of the mochi in the middle. My son and husband had the s'mores and they said they tasted very much like s'mores; the marshmallows were gooey. My youngest had the chocolate churro he loved the fact that it was chocolate and a churro. We plan to come back for the rice hot dogs. Those sounded interesting. I live right around the corner and was so excited when I saw this place opened bc I love hot chicken! I stopped in rn just before closing and WOW! Theres a place I drive to LA for hot chicken and the flavors are so close to this. The food was amazing. So much flavor in every bite including the fries. I was taken aback by it coming with toritillasbit I kinda prefer it bc it's lighter than bread and the kimchi paired with it was perfect. The only regret was not getting more dipping sauce bc it was such a great compliment to all the flavors! Service was so friendly and the wait was not long. Don't be deceived by the location! It's so cute inside. Music was playing, mochinuts we're on display to choose from, staff was kind and attentive, what more could you ask for! I ordered the strawberry white chocolate, strawberry matcha, the coconut ube, and the Thai tea mochinuts. The flavors were so strong in such a good way! The strawberry white chocolate was my favorite of the four. The strawberry matcha was creamy. The coconut ube had texture because of the coconut. The Thai tea could've used a bit more flavor but still tasted like Thai tea and was fun because of the brown sugar sprinkled on top. I want to try their Korean hotdogs! Great local spot! read more
