The pricing was very reasonable, especially for everything that was included. Only thing I wish was included was a space to get ready. We really appreciated being able to decorate and rehearse the night before -- it made the whole wedding weekend feel much less stressful and more organized. Having both the ceremony and reception in the same building was also so convenient for us and our guests. The bar service was excellent. The bartenders were fast and friendly, the coordinator and staff was amazing to work with, and Distinctive Catering did a fantastic job. Great food and Drinks, and even helpful service with buffet. We also loved the DJ they recommended through Complete Wedding + Events. The day-of coordinators were especially wonderful -- they did such a great job converting the ceremony space into a lounge area during cocktail hour while incorporating all of my decor used in the ceremony to the reception perfectly. All the little details were handled without having to ask. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend the Waddell Center to other couples looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-organized venue!

The two white, male bartenders assigned to her event were not friendly to the guests, creating an off-putting atmosphere right from the start. To make matters worse, several guests overheard the bartenders making racial comments about probably not receiving any tips. This behavior is utterly unacceptable, disgusting and was clearly racially motivated. Given that their wedding was attended primarily by Black and Brown guests we knew exactly why they said it! Absolutely a racist trope that we don't tip or tip well. Multiple guests complained to the bride, groom and/or someone in wedding party about this. It is deeply troubling that a venue they entrusted with such a special occasion would employ individuals who clearly harbor racial bias. All I will say is that minority couples need to be aware. No one should have to worry or deal with this bs on their special day nor should their guests.

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful venue with historic charm, & we were blessed to find this gem so close to home! Spending the morning at Venue3Two as we prepared for the ceremony was such a peaceful experience! As I got my hair & makeup done, as we got dressed, as we did our first look, as we took pictures with the bridal party, I was just amazed by the romantic elegance found in every corner & every room of the 1920s mansion! Then, after we returned from the ceremony at my church, one of my favorite moments of the day was bustling my dress in the bridal suite on the second floor & looking out the window to the backyard where I saw guests relaxing on the terrace & enjoying cornhole & giant jenga (outdoor games the venue provided). During the cocktail hour and reception, I loved being able to enjoy drinks in the great room as well as the charcuterie table in the dining room, being able to feel the sunshine through the large windows as we dined in the conservatory, & being able to find delicious desserts in the kitchen. Another one of my favorite parts of the venue was the fireplace in the great room where we displayed the family wedding photos on top of the mantle. Every time I walked past it, I found guests & other vendors taking a look at the photos which made me smile! We also had our engagement photos displayed on the giant TV in the conservatory which people loved to look at throughout the cocktail hour & reception! In the evening, the terrace was magical with its outdoor lights providing a perfect romantic setting for the rest of the night. I can't believe how smoothly everything ran throughout the day, and that is because of the incredible service provided by the Venue3Two team! They were very professional & attentive, and my venue coordinator, Stochia McDaniel, was so incredibly helpful as we discussed & planned the big day for several months! The food was amazing: we had plenty and even had a few meals to take home. The night of the wedding, Dimitri sought us out continually to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything. There are always so many things that can go wrong during a wedding but fortunately for us, it was a picture perfect night. I would highly recommend this venue and wish we had another wedding to plan so that we could return.

Upon ordering, I first requested a menu item, which would be a 10 oz. Steak Entre... I was promptly informed that they had no 10 oz. steaks left.... So... I changed my order to be an 8 oz. steak... about 5 minutes later, the waitress came back and told me "I'm sorry, we are all out of steaks... would you like something else?"... I asked the waitress if there was a possibility since they didnt have what I wanted (Steak)... Could I get a slight discount on the all you can eat meal which was crab and shrimp. The answer was "We cant do that"... Not "Let me get the manager" but..."We cant do that". So, as irritated as I was, I waited a bit, and I then ordered the SAME MEAL as the rest of my family, which was a hot beef sandwich with redskin mashed potatoes and a salad. About 5 minutes goes by, and the waitress comes out and tells me "I'm sorry, the mashed potatoes arent ready, would you like something else?".... Now... I understand restaurants can run out of stuff... but when the 3rd thing was not available, I had to ask for a manager... When the "manager" came out, she looked at me and said "Is there a problem over here?" to which I replied "Yes" and described the situation... She then replied "OK, Well, I dont appreciate you yelling at my waitress".... Now.. up until now, I hadnt yelled, I was irritated yes, but I hadnt yelled. I told the lady to get me her boss... because I do NOT like being told that I am doing something that I didnt do. Her boss came up *about 6ft 7in, 280lbs, build like an NFL Linebacker* and said "Is there a problem here?" in his deepest voice, to which I replied just as I had to the first manager. In the end, he attempted to make the issue right, even offered to give me a discount on the all you could eat lobster and shrimp deal as I had originally requested, however I was too afraid that my meal would have spit in it by this time, and could not accpept it. He did pick up the entire family's meals, but I ended up leaving without eating due to it... I will not be going back to this restaurant. I do believe that this gentleman was trying to be intimidating... Those that know me, know I am not a man that becomes intimidated easily. We had 130 guests and that made our event split between dinner upstairs and food / bar / dancing downstairs. While we knew this was the case before the big day, we didn't realize that meant when many of the guests moved downstairs to socialize and dance the event staff would be flipping the dining room for their next guests. This lead to concern for our belongings and decorations we had upstairs so many of us had to stop enjoying the event to go gather everything and pack it up in our vehicles. This evacuation of items cascaded into guests leaving thinking the event over to even more unoccupied areas being taken down and packed away. Our event was supposed to last till 11pm and then cleanup by midnight. Instead we had less than 30 guests left by 10:30 and the last of us left at 11:15. It was a really special day and by no means was it ruined for us, but many of our guests were not able to enjoy the entire time as we had hoped.

Barn 1888 normally doesn't have winter weddings here but they accommodated them so it could happen. Bryan and Danielle were so kind and helpful to get the place ready. They allowed us to come in and look at how we could decorate before the day of since we were changing seasons. This place is gorgeous and already decorated perfectly, so we didn't need much for decorations to make it beautiful. Many of the guests talked about how nice it was and the ambiance was wonderful. The bridal party was large and the bridal suite to get ready in was great, it fit all of us. The room for the guys is a little snug, but guys don't really need much to get ready so that is fine. They have an amazing room of decorations so you already have a great start on ideas. You may use what you want of theirs or bring your own. Bryan and Danielle are there if you need help but they aren't hovering over you. If I could give 10 stars I would. They are very easy going here and willing to work with any and all questions you have. During the reception they were still readily available for any questions or help we needed. Their kindness and helpful attitude did not go unnoticed! If you are looking for a barn wedding venue with owners that are great at helping support you through the planning process and day of the event I would highly recommend Barn 1888!
