If you're in the Holland Michigan area I would encourage you to stop by new Holland brewing for a drink. The vibe is fun and the space is actually a lot bigger than I expected. If you're there with good weather, they even have an outside beer garden that being said, I would skip the food. It was just fine and not something I would really recommend. The drinks were great though, and I love that they were offered in many different sizes.

I really love New Holland Brewing! It's in a great location near a ton of other great shops and restaurants and the space itself is large with a patio, main dining and spacious bar area. Our absolute go to order is the pepperoni pinwheels. Order a beer flight and when you've checked out, don't forget to stop in their storefront after. Great selection of canned beverages.

I don't think you can go wrong with a stop at New Holland Brewing. The drink selection is way more expansive than it used to be. The menu has a little something for everyone. The wait staff was very personable and friendly. One of our food orders came with something we wanted removed and they were very accommodating to fix that for us. It wasn't expected nor did we complain, but he noticed and fixed it.

First time back to New Holland in a while! I love the beer and was excited to be able to have it on tap at the brewery. I ordered a maple cinnamon dragon's milk. It was so good! We also ordered a chicken pizza to share and it was delicious! 100 percent recommend you stop by while in Holland!

I was so glad to have stumbled upon this spot. Crowded on a Saturday night with all ages. Fast bar service and lots of TVs. The cocktails were delicious. I will def go back if I am in the area.

We were looking for something open late to grab a bite to eat. It was almost 9, everything was closed, and we were starving. We stumbled across New Holland Brewing. When we got there, we found out the kitchen was closing in just a few minutes. The waitress said we could still order food so we were relieved. We sat out on the patio and it was beautiful out. The food was great and drinks were good too! My husband said he wished they had a larger selection of in house brews.

Artichoke Chicken Pizza and Carnivore pizza. So good.

Great food. It's packed so be prepared to line up. Bar seating worked for us so it was quick service.

Went to the New Holland brewery. We couldn't get a table for dinner so we went to the bar and got a couple of beers in a to go cup that you can walk around a 3 block area with open container. We got a peachy haze and a crimson keep beer. The haze was very fruity with a very hopped after finish. It was very good. The crimson keep is a red ale aged in a bourbon barrel cast . This is a strong ale we'll hopped with a spicy finish but fell short on the fullness of body. The bartender was so busy I didn't catch his name. But he was hustling. After shopping and dinner at another restaurant we came back for a dragon's milk beer which is a stout beer aged in a bourbon cast . This beer hits all the marks. Rich full bodied great finish. This is my all time favorite beer on tap. There is also a to go shop that we bought a selection to bring home all in all a great night.

We visited this spot during our trip to Holland. It was packed, but we were able to get on the waitlist and were told to return in about an hour. When we came back, they hadn't saved a spot for us and admitted they'd forgotten to call, though they managed to seat us shortly afterward. It felt a bit unorganized. Once seated, we ordered a few appetizers and some beer on tap. The food was phenomenal and more than made up for the wait. The atmosphere here is very casual, with a great selection of food and drinks, including cocktails. We tried the queso, cheese curds, and nachos, all of which were fantastic. This seems to be one of the most popular spots in the area--worth the visit!

Our 3rd New Holland Brewing stop on our road trip! And, this is the flagship location, which we really appreciated the vibes!

We were a large group of 12 and hangry, ordered a bunch of burgers and some of the veggie folks got the black bean burger and were a bit charred or overly well done. Their pizzas were on point, the veggie and chicken pesto were both good. The appetizers were bar-friendly hummus and veggies, and parmesan fries. Salad's were pretty good.Overall, a decent experience.

The service was great! And of course the beer was amazing. I got the Dragon's Milk Reserve (YUM). We all split the chicky chicky parm parm pizza, and there wasn't a slice left! The sauce was extra yummy and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and I loved the minimal Dutch decorations. I'd love to visit here again whenever I come back to Michigan!

I recommend getting an appetizer and pizza if you go as those are very good. Great drinks too! I love their outdoor seating in the summer! Definitely make sure to check out if you're looking for a good downtown dinner spot in Holland!

This restaurant's manager tried to gaslight an old(er) man into believing Eagle Rare Rye was Eagle…read moreRare Bourbon instead of paying for his staff's mistake! Here's the full story: My Dad loves his Bourbon. He ordered "Eagle Rare Bourbon neat" and specifically said, "not the Rye". Well when he takes his first sip, Dad immediately knows it is the Rye. Unfortunately, the waiter already walked away. He passed the glass around, and everyone at the table agreed to the best of their knowledge that it is a Rye. I've had both. It tastes like the Rye. When the waiter comes back, he apologies and goes back to get the Bourbon. This time, he comes back with a small tasting glass to make sure Dad wants the Bourbon. He drinks it, confirms this one is the Bourbon, and the waiter is on his way. So far, good customer service! Except, the waiter doesn't come back with the proper drink. Next, the manager comes back and explains he "watched the video footage and confirmed the bartender did not touch the Eagle Rare Rye bottle, therefore the original drink must be the Bourbon". Nope! No no no no no. My Dad tasted both, and they are definitely not from the same bottle! After the manager walked away, I smelled the empty tasting glass and the original Rye glass and 100% confirmed for myself that the liquor in each glass was different! You aren't going to gaslight my nose and my Dad's much more experienced taste buds! Either the manager was lying about reviewing video footage, he reviewed footage from the wrong timeframe, or the original Rye wasn't even from Eagle Rare but some other bottle the manager wasn't looking at. He did NOT confirm that the footage showed the bartender poring Eagle Rare Bourbon the first time. Anyways, we were too polite to make a fuss at the time, but I'm finally taking the time to write this review. Who reviews video footage (or worse, lies about doing so) over a single drink dispute? Who looks an old(er) man dead in the face and claims his taste buds are deceiving him? I'm very disappointed by the behavior of that manager.

The fries are still delicious and addictive. HopCat has its priorities in line! The service was a lot of overhearing an employee occupied with some boy drama and other employees consoling her. Nothing we had was epic or even that good. The service was meh. The food was meh. They forgot cheese on my son's plain cheeseburger and just slapped a cold piece on and didn't even melt it. No love with any of the food. No balance of flavors. The fries were not good... just pepper heavy. My daughter wouldn't eat her grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup saying she didn't like the seasoning, (though I thought it was tasty). Everything was disappointing especially my ancho chicken bowl that had less than a breast of chicken, jalapeño heavy and barely any avocado. Talk about cheap! Are we coming back to give this restaurant another chance? Yeah... no. We are hopping right outta this catty spot and would rather just eat at Sperry's movie house in the dining area as their food is much better, quicker, and cheaper. Staff is also much friendlier AND they have fun board games to play. In conclusion, Meow.
