The folks who worked there were actually working, but the kitchen is small and there simply is not much room for extra help. I ordered a small grilled chicken salad with Bleu cheese dressing and a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. My salad was good. I especially appreciated the addition of banana peppers. The cupcake was the "old-fashioned" kind: standard size with an appropriate amount of icing. Honestly, it was a refreshing change from the ginormous designer cupcakes that are so popular now. The cake was moist and the icing was perfect. Paul ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a yellow cupcake with white icing. He thought the pizza was "okay." I had a piece and thought the crust was good but the rest of it was whatever. He thought the cupcake was "your basic boxed cupcake." In sum, Papas is a good place to go if you don't want to break the bank and you don't mind waiting (or ordering takeout). 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 due to hardworking people and that chocolate cupcake.
