I used to go to Queens 3-4 times per month because their food was good. No longer do I go as their prices have gotten ridiculously high!

Great food and way better than pizza plus. Pizza Plus is the worst restaurant in town. Queens has great food and better prices.

Pizza is decent, the calzone I got was not so good. Hogies are decent. Good place to go without a long drive to get a good pizza.

Paul and I had dinner at Papas this evening due to recommendations from my co-workers. We were…read morewarned in advance that they are slow, but I did not expect to wait over 45 minutes for our food. A man, who was the only person in front of us in line when we arrived, waited even longer. While we were waiting we noticed a fairly steady stream of customers picking up carry out orders. The folks who worked there were actually working, but the kitchen is small and there simply is not much room for extra help. I ordered a small grilled chicken salad with Bleu cheese dressing and a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. My salad was good. I especially appreciated the addition of banana peppers. The cupcake was the "old-fashioned" kind: standard size with an appropriate amount of icing. Honestly, it was a refreshing change from the ginormous designer cupcakes that are so popular now. The cake was moist and the icing was perfect. Paul ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a yellow cupcake with white icing. He thought the pizza was "okay." I had a piece and thought the crust was good but the rest of it was whatever. He thought the cupcake was "your basic boxed cupcake." In sum, Papas is a good place to go if you don't want to break the bank and you don't mind waiting (or ordering takeout). 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 due to hardworking people and that chocolate cupcake. Next time I will try a sub or the buffalo rolls.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The RailYard is hands down one of the best…read morerestaurants I've ever been to, and it's right here in Bluefield. From the food to the drinks to the service, every single detail is outstanding. On my first visit, I tried the fried green tomatoes, the famous chicken & waffle nachos, and the Bleu Monday burger with sweet potato fries each dish was so good that I found myself planning my return before I even left. Sure enough, the next day I was back and had the ridiculously delicious smoked Gouda shrimp mac, maple bacon Brussels sprouts, fire-roasted tomato soup with grilled cheese, and the chimmied fries. Absolutely phenomenal. The fried green tomatoes have officially become my standard nobody else compares now. The Samurai Jack salad so fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. The drinks deserve their own spotlight. The Breakfast Club with a Sidecar is a must try, and the Basilto All Flavors series (strawberry, blackberry, blueberry) is out of this world, blueberry was my personal favorite. Creative, refreshing, and perfectly crafted. The RailYard is the kind of place that makes you excited to come back again and again. The vibe is cool, the staff/manager Brad is friendly and attentive, and the food is truly next level. Whether you're a student at Bluefield State or just passing through town, this place is an absolute must. The RailYard sets the bar high for food, drinks, and atmosphere in West Virginia. Worth every single visit and then some.

Set in an old bank building, features a full bar with ~30 beers on tap including many local selections and IPAs as well as half a dozen wine choices. That said,The Railyard is more of a restaurant than a bar. The food and service from the staff are definitely the star of the show. Davey (ask him about his previous career as a guitarist for a metal band) and his team did a great job taking care of us. Menu offers a wide selection of burgers, wraps, and salads (including vegan selections). Also try the Devil Arse dip with chips and or crostini (toasted bread). Loved it , great place for lunch.
