The Colonel (a big tea aficionado) has been holding board game events there on Saturdays about once a month. I recently had a quick bite of lunch there with a friend. They serve an astonishing number of teas in a variety of cups. Keira will explain everything to tea novices, and you can get single servings, double servings, or a pot. They have white, green, red, black, and herbal teas. Then they have hot grilled cheeses, cold wraps, deli sandwiches, and cookies and brownies for dessert. In addition, they have fun lil tchotchkes for sale, Der Sprossling bought an articulated wooden dragon toy recently for his mantel. Follow them on Facebook to keep abreast of the variety of activities going on, including tarot readings and other New Age events for body and soul. They have off-street parking to the side of the building. It is flat and pretty accessible. They have a bathroom, but I didn't use it, I'm presuming gender neutral/single occupancy because I only saw one door.

Inside, in the coffee portion of the space, it gives definite coffee shop vibes. Couches, armchairs, tables, books, magazines, etc. That coziness could be a big draw on a cold day. There is an ice cream parlor tucked away on the opposite side of the coffee shop. You can enter this through the coffee shop or from the outside entrance on the side of the building. It looks like the prices for the sandwiches are very fair, but I got a bagel, and the price for one bagel is too high. However, this is more of a sandwich and coffee shop; it's not a bagel store. There is no seating in the building and there is a standing line to the counter. The donuts sell out quickly, so make sure to go early to ensure you get your treats. It's a must go for anyone in the area and is a favorite of locals and students alike.
