I walk in thinking, "Alright jBoogie, quick in-and-out, get your blood drawn, be a responsible adult." NOPE. That place said, "Sit down, sir... and observe." First off -- they say "walk-ins welcome." That's a lie. That's not a welcome... that's a TRAP. That's like saying, "Yeah, come on in!" but nobody home. Ain't NOBODY there to help you. No receptionist, no guidance, no nothing. Just vibes and confusion. Everybody signing themselves in like we're all employees now. People looking around like, "You work here?" "No, YOU work here?" Nobody knows! Meanwhile, I'm sitting there for TWO HOURS. TWO. HOURS. I aged. I grew spiritually. I considered my life choices. And the cast of characters?! Oh, I got the PREMIUM package. - Old Korean man next to me coughing like he auditioning for a zombie movie. I'm sitting there like, "Sir... is this airborne? Blink twice if I need to leave." - Grandma on speakerphone having a FULL family reunion. I know all her grandkids now. I'm basically invited to Thanksgiving. - Then we got Face Tattoo Lady with the ankle monitor watching loud videos like it's a movie theater. No headphones. Just chaos. Just straight chaos. And don't get me started on parking... YOU PAY FOR PARKING... to NOT EVEN GET SEEN. That's crazy. That's like paying for a concert and the artist never shows up! After two hours, I realized... I'm not getting my blood drawn today. But I DID get my patience tested. And guess what? I failed. Quest Diagnostics... y'all didn't take my blood, but you definitely took my time, my sanity, and a piece of my soul. Never again.

Let's start with the tiny crowded waiting room, it's difficult to find due to lack of signage, dingy and check in is done via kiosk. Because the cramped waiting room was full we chose the wait outside and text me option and stood directly outside the door in the hallway. I received the text saying I was in the system then received no further text. After waiting twenty minutes past my appointment time we decided to go back into the waiting room where the phlebotomist who never introduced himself came out and called my name out loud, weird, I signed up to be texted but ok. I head back to a chair with zero privacy with this very fat man who's literally wheezing to breathe, he makes zero attempts to speak to me, make sure I'm comfortable, see if there's anything he should know or be concerned about. Silently does some computer work then again still with zero communication starts the blood draw. He doesn't wait for the rubbing alcohol to dry before sticking a huge straight needle into my pediatric sized arm which was very painful, I tell him he responds in an annoyed voice he can do it again elsewhere, I'm squirming in my seat from pain and he's still silent except his disgusting wheezing. I'm bleeding all over the chair at this point as he roughly changes tube after tube. Then he decides all on his own, before finishing the draw, to pull the needle and informs me he will be using another vein. I tell him absolutely not, communicate to him I'm very surprised he didn't use a butterfly needle considering my size, he informs me they only use those on pediatrics and very difficult pokes and that he has used straight needles on kids just fine, so I guess he's wildly unprofessional in several ways and enjoys hurting children because that's clinically inappropriate. He sits silently doing computer work again, saying nothing or apologizing for his unprofessional behavior and poor communication or lack of skill, I don't even know why I'm still sitting there so I ask if I need to sign something or if I'm free to go after several minutes sitting there bleeding while he ignores me. He tells me I need to sign something and goes back to ignoring me. This is by far one of the most painful blood draws I've ever experienced but also by far the least professional. This gross man should lose his job quite frankly. I will not be returning to this location and I advise anyone looking for clean, competent and professional healthcare to do the same because this lab is an embarrassment to medicine.

    I am bummed to have to write a negative review for a Women-Owned business. But I booked an…read moreappointment for a mobile PCR test, got a confirmation email, and she no-showed today. I tried calling the number in the email on the day of booking to confirm my appointment, but no one picked up. I then tried calling again 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment because no one had showed up yet, but again no one picked up. I then emailed her and she finally responding saying that she didn't receive my calls and there were issues with the scheduling app. I am now in a jam trying to find somewhere else that will do my PCR test last minute so that I can have my results by tmrw morning in time for a pre-planned event. I suggest booking your test elsewhere if your test is extremely time-sensitive (i.e., for travel or prior to an important event).

The nurse who administered my test was really great and talked me through the whole process to make sure I was comfortable during my time there. IT TOOK LESS THAN 10 MIN!! And I got my results in less than 12 hours. I went during their promo so it's super affordable right now. Definitely coming here again to make sure my tests are taken care of accurately and fast!

    I followed a woman called Cynthia to every labcorp location she worked at for years- she was…read moreamazing, and I had her personal phone number. I texted her to tell her I had a labcorp order and she let me know she had discontinued working there after all these years- I was crushed! How would I go about finding someone new who was as sweet and wonderful and pain-free and "for the patients" as Cynthia? Mary was every inch as accommodating as humanly possible- she was so so sweet when I asked for a butterfly needle and to do a "1, 2..deep breath" before placing the needle. She said "my pleasure" every time I thanked her- and was so kind. I was a walk-in mid-day on a Friday and it was a pretty full waiting room but I got in and out very quickly- maybe 20 mins total? They do have separate sign-in kiosks for patients sent from the women's clinic and it did take them a second to get my insurance figured out, which I'm not used to dealing with. I can't speak to parking as I got dropped off and picked up. The only thing that was less than pleasant was having the needle placed on the smaller vein on the outer side of my inner elbow. Eek- not used to people using the outer arm vein (is it called "cephalic"?). It hurt even with a butterfly- but Mary made it go fast- she was really kind and caring.

There's basically no street parking because most of the surrounding residential area is permit only, so you end up having to use their parking structure and pay (I paid $7. I was there 5 mins max). Then I finally get upstairs, check in on their kiosk, and within a minute I get called up. The employee asks if I have paper copies of my lab order. I tell her no because my doctor sent everything electronically literally YESTERDAY at my docs appt. She immediately says there's nothing they can do and that they need paper copies. Annoying, but fine. I step out into the hallway to call my doctor's office and explain the situation. When I come back in to continue the conversation with the same employee, another staff member rudely asks, "Did you check in yet?" Like... obviously? I had already checked in and was literally continuing the conversation that had just happened. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unfriendly. If electronic orders aren't accepted or there are issues receiving them, communicate that clearly beforehand instead of making patients figure it out after they've paid for parking and already checked in. Not a great experience.
