With the wheels my manual chair is less than 30 inches wide, and if my chair had been an inch wider I wouldn't have been able to make it (even with the 5 point turn) * They may try to replace the things they moved to let you get by, effectively blocking your entrance/exit. I went to get lab work done here today and had to wait outside because my wheelchair didn't fit in the lobby. It would have fit if one of the chairs had been moved. I just barely fit through the hallway, and they had to move a box for me to do a 5 point turn to get to the room where they draw blood. Once I got past the hallway, they replaced the box and effectively locked me in the back room with no way out. I said "can you keep the hallway free? If there's any sort of emergency I would be stuck, and even if there isn't, it makes me uncomfortable to feel locked in this room." The woman who had just replaced the box in the hallway said "we don't have the space." I responded and said "It's not my fault that you don't have the space for people like me. Can you please leave the hallway free so that I can have a way to enter and exit the building?" After she giving me a rude look while moving the box back out of the hallway, she walked up to where I was starting to transfer out of my wheelchair and said "you need to move. You're in my way" and pointed to a cart behind my wheelchair that I hadn't seen. I again, said, "It's not my fault that you don't have space for people like me" (a phrase I've learned to memorize as someone in a wheelchair who is frequently harassed for "being in the way") and followed it with "I'll move it where I can, I would just ask that you please don't touch it, because it's incredibly expensive and people who don't know how it works could break it" (the one star instead of zero is because they did what I ask and didn't touch my wheelchair). There was nowhere at all for me to put my wheelchair without it being in her way, so I removed the footrests, and pushed the chair as close to the wall as possible right in front of the lab chair and propped my own legs up on my wheelchair along with my keys, wallet, phone, and footrests. The phlebotomist drew my blood in silence, and I left through the back exit while they replaced the box that had blocked my way in. I don't think I've reviewed anything in the last 10 years, (even with all of the awful experiences I've had with accessibility now that I use a wheelchair), but there's something particularly dehumanizing about paying $150 to get lab work done at a medical facility (that should be equipped to at least let wheelchair users enter the hallway, if not wait in the waiting room) only to have to wait in the heat, wait for a path to be cleared, and told that they have to block my entrance and exit because they "don't have the space" to make sure that I can get safely in and out of the building.

Surprisingly efficient for such a small, cramped, office. The lab staff are focused on taking samples and running tests. You must "sign in" at the hospital main registration. On weekdays, this is near the front door of the hospital, not far at all from the lab, so it's convenient. On the weekends, however, the front registration desk is closed. Instead, you register for your lab test at the ER department. This is at the opposite end of the hospital down a very long corridor. If walking a distance is not a problem for you, it's a good bit of exercise. If you are mobility challenged in any way, and you are going to the lab on the weekend, you may want to do a two-step process. Drive to the ER, register, go back to your car and navigate on city streets to the front of the hospital, park again, and go get your lab work done.

It was efficient with the QR Code check-in system and I was the only one there at 9 AM (my appointment was for 9:15 AM but they tell you to arrive 15 minutes early like most doctor appointments) and was able to be helped right away. I'm so glad I had the nurse that I did. She was friendly and did mention that my vein was a bit deep but did a massage to help see if she could bring it to the surface. The process was quick and painless, and would definitely come back for future blood work! ~~Parking: The lab is located in a shared plaza and it could be difficult to find parking depending on the time you arrive, but it did look like there was parking in the back of the complex as well. ~~Service: Great, the nurse made me feel at ease and was very kind. ~~Best Part: Happy to report that I didn't end up with a bruise.

I tried calling this facility at least 10 times, but no one picks up the phone. I called my Doctor's office and they did not receive any results either. I then opened an online account, but no results there either. I think my blood was sent to a black hole, and I doubt if I ever will get results. So don't waste your time and don't take the risk of the overworked staff screwing up the blood draw. If they don't have time to pick up the phone, you can only imagine how overworked they are. I would even worry if they use clean needles and equipment or if they don't have time to wipe down any surfaces.

I've had countless blood drawn in the past and this by far was the most painful. I never bruise after a blood draw and this own "blue" up the veins in both arms. It was transcribed incorrectly by the Lead Technician on duty. As I suspected, the doctors wanted the usual and customary urine sample. I will subtract as many stars as possible from the previous 2 star review. There are other labs open on Saturdays and I will begin a search for one covered by my health insurance without the name "Hunter Labs" on the front door.

This visit, I believe it was the same guy who took my paperwork and drew my blood. My doctor's office was a little surprised that they needed another paper in addition to the usual California genetic screening form, but they sent it over and everything seemed fine. The guy was very nice and fast with the paperwork, especially since I was having an ADD day where I couldn't remember anything and I was pretty frustrated with myself at that point. He did everything he could to get me taken care of quickly, which I appreciated. The problem came afterward. I was distracted a bit by my almost-3-year-old and didn't hold still enough, so I kind of expected the soreness in my arm afterward. It didn't get better, though, and about 6 hours later I noticed a red line about half an inch long coming from the site of the blood draw and going toward my hand (this is a sign of an infection, for those who don't know). The next day I developed a bruise about 2 inches long. As I said, the bruise may have been my fault, but the infection definitely was not. That's enough for me to give 1 star and never go back.
