The lab staff are focused on taking samples and running tests. You must "sign in" at the hospital main registration. On weekdays, this is near the front door of the hospital, not far at all from the lab, so it's convenient. On the weekends, however, the front registration desk is closed. Instead, you register for your lab test at the ER department. This is at the opposite end of the hospital down a very long corridor. If walking a distance is not a problem for you, it's a good bit of exercise. If you are mobility challenged in any way, and you are going to the lab on the weekend, you may want to do a two-step process. Drive to the ER, register, go back to your car and navigate on city streets to the front of the hospital, park again, and go get your lab work done.

It was efficient with the QR Code check-in system and I was the only one there at 9 AM (my appointment was for 9:15 AM but they tell you to arrive 15 minutes early like most doctor appointments) and was able to be helped right away. I'm so glad I had the nurse that I did. She was friendly and did mention that my vein was a bit deep but did a massage to help see if she could bring it to the surface. The process was quick and painless, and would definitely come back for future blood work! ~~Parking: The lab is located in a shared plaza and it could be difficult to find parking depending on the time you arrive, but it did look like there was parking in the back of the complex as well. ~~Service: Great, the nurse made me feel at ease and was very kind. ~~Best Part: Happy to report that I didn't end up with a bruise.

I tried calling this facility at least 10 times, but no one picks up the phone. I called my Doctor's office and they did not receive any results either. I then opened an online account, but no results there either. I think my blood was sent to a black hole, and I doubt if I ever will get results. So don't waste your time and don't take the risk of the overworked staff screwing up the blood draw. If they don't have time to pick up the phone, you can only imagine how overworked they are. I would even worry if they use clean needles and equipment or if they don't have time to wipe down any surfaces.

I've had countless blood drawn in the past and this by far was the most painful. I never bruise after a blood draw and this own "blue" up the veins in both arms. Unfortunately the office of Mammography Specialists is incompetent, which is too bad as the…read morespecialists in Morgan Hill are great as I have had mammograms, ultrasounds and bone density tests with them and really like their facility and that they are always on time. The first problem is that there is not a direct phone or email to work with the Morgan Hill facility. Fortunately they gave me their direct fax number and that is how I now communicate with them. One time I sent an email a couple of days before my mammography as something came up and I needed to re-schedule, which they replied back in confirmation, only to find the person in Morgan Hill texting me the day of the appointment as they did not get the cancellation and were expecting me. So now I have to either fax a note to them, or go to their office directly to either make appointments or re-schedule. Next, I found my doctor has not seen any results, even from the previous year, so I emailed them and they actually replied back and said that they faxed my results to the wrong doctor (I have no idea how they got that doctor's name). So then I corrected them with my doctor's information, they said they would send the results, several weeks later - the doctor has not received the results. These people are incompetent, and they all seem to work from home, so I wonder about their accountability. This is too bad, as I like using the Morgan Hill facility, but am seriously considering another mammography center.
