The office o visit on Linden rd in flint is always clean and quick, they are polite but not friendly. The two star review is because of their billing and lack of a response. I signed up my card to be billed a certain amount t after the insurance had adjusted. On 7/8 I was notified my reauthorization was going to be taken and I'd have a small remaining balance. It was taken and then less than 48 hrs later I recieved the same email and within twenty four hours it was removed again and was over double my remaining balance and wasn't reauthorized only the first payment was. read more

I became hesitant about this Quest Diagnostic location after I read all the reviews but I had already booked an appointment. I am happy to report that I didn't have any problems. The office is on the second floor of the Red Bird Plaza. Check-in is done via tablets found against the wall when you walk-in. The wait was about 10 minutes for those with appointments made online. Can't complain. Will definitely book this location again. read more

I wonder why the city doesn't make anything to solve it. I made a blood analytic in this clinic, there is nobody at the front desk, so you have to make your your registration. The technician who made it had the information of the cost in the computer, but he never told me the cost, so 2 months later they charge me 140$ for the laboratory costs. it is very strange, because I was there with my wife and the charge her for THE SAME analytics 30$. 2 weeks later my daughter went for the same and the technician said her that the cost was 20$. I called then and customer service says the technician does not have access to that data, which is a lie. And even that, they should have someone to inform in the front desk. read more

It is not closed though that might not be for the better. I made an online appointment and arrived around 10 minutes early. I wasn't called in until about half an hour after my apt time. They also seemed very confused, asking me to write down my address on scrap paper because they couldn't find it when it was on the insurance card they were holding. However, the woman who actually took the blood did very well and I barely felt it. More trouble came weeks later when my doctor who had ordered the lab work called to ask if I had had it done. Despite the entire process being computerized, Quest somehow had not sent my results back. I then called the costumer service number and spoke to a nice woman who said that they had my results and would call the doctor before faxing it over. I then went to my doctor several days later where they apparently still had not received any sort of lab work. They called the quest location again and I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes in the office while they argued for the results. Finally we received some (about 4 out of the 6 ordered tests) of the results but I was chided for not telling the nurses that I split the tests on two separate occasions, in December and March. I informed them that I had only ever gone the one time in March but apparently Quest had filed one test as being done in March while the others were all done in December, the date my lab work was ordered, causing many problems in filing the results. All in all, a very unpleasant experience and much more trouble than I was looking for. read more

Kinda weak reviewing the spot I get my annual blood test. But here I go. The is the 2nd year I have used Quest on bird rd. I did not make an appointment eater time, walked in put my name on the pad and BAM got called. Give ur paperwork, insurance card and sit down. 5 minutes later u get called & they take ur blood. DONE! Not dad... On the same note I took my son the year, who hates needles! They were really cool giving him the smallest needle and letting him lay down. Not dad for vampires. read more

Santa Barbara, CA. Provider disclosed false and private health information to my employer when I came in for a drug test, violating HIPAA. For a third party to involve themselves in my private life and then pass on false, irrelevant information was extremely unnecessary and will make interactions with my employer extremely tasking. I am in utter disbelief. Upon telling friends and coworkers about my experience, almost all of them had relayed that they, too, had had issues with Quest. Especially with billing and screwing over elder patients. read more

In this day of greatly reduced service from doctor's offices, Quest Diagnostics fills the gap. You can order any test you need on their website. I even got to speak to an MD about my results! A shout out for Tammy in the Clearwater location. Highly skilled and she could not have been moRe skilled. read more

Many conflicting reviews so thought we'd share our experience. First, we liked the large, clean waiting area and the electronic sign in system. We were called in promptly and greeted with courtesy. We found our technicians efficient and helpful. We can't report on the promptness of results as we just went this morning. A bonus is that there is plenty of easy, free parking. The male in charge at Ellenton, FL location is severely lacking in customer service and professionalism. If he worked anywhere else, this behavior would NEVER be allowed. I've not ever been treated as rudely as I was at my scheduled appointment today. The blood taker was also clueless about how to perform the test I'd been ordered to receive. I'll never go back there for labs. I'd sooner drive 30 miles out of my way. Quest should be ashamed of this employee. read more

If you have an option please do not use Quest Diagnostics. I've been dealing with them for five months because they refuse to send the correct billing code to my insurance company so they can get paid for a lab test. The test is covered but they refuse to resubmit the claim with the correct code. Instead, they are trying to extort the money from me because they can bill the full amount to me instead of getting only a fraction of the amount from the insurance company. So, they are using threats of collection agencies and derogatory credit reporting to get me to pay for a test that my insurance company would gladly pay for but cannot until they send the correct code. read more

I had an appointment recently which was relatively easy to get. Been coming here for over 20 years and never a problem. Well, except one time when the woman at the front desk told me I "didn't have a appointment" when I did. This place is terrible. Plain and simple. I had to drop off a urine sample so I get there and sign in, mark drop off on the sheet. I sat there for 30 minutes and watched them take people who came after me. I was so frustrated and late for work so I approach the window. First of all the lady doesn't even look at me so I can tell she is avoiding me. I say excuse me I have a sample to drop off a sample and you are accepting all these people who came in after me and they need to see a practitioner. She demands my license as if I am a mind reader and should have this attached to my palm. She tells me she can't find my order where is my sample?? So I pulled out a cup of pee and handed it over gladly. Rude. Wish I could say this is the first time they have been rude and inefficient, but I can't. Never going back to this one. read more

The emplyees at the location i go to are great, but what I have a huge problem with is there computer system and billing department. I went in, the tech entered my ins info and the lab requested info. I was told my bill would be between $50-60. Well i got a bill for $133 after ins. When i called the billing department I was told that they don't know what ins is going to do and to call them, I was also called a lier by the lady I was talking with about what I was told my bill would be. I went back to the location and they ran all my info again and came back with the same estimate as last time. I get that they may not know what your ins is going to pay, but the estimate and final bill should atleast be close in the amount. Otherwise they should stop giving estimates and the billing dept needs to be retrained, I was not lieing and I have a print out of what i was told it would be. And no my ins did not mess up, they paid what they were supposed to pay. read more

I have gone to Quest Diagnostics in Hillsborough, NJ and couldn't be happier with the phlebotomist Dawn - she always greets me with a smile, and gets my lab work done efficiently and expertly. Thank you Dawn for going the extra mile for me yesterday when I needed results from blood work 9 days ago that never appeared on my portal nor was sent to my doctor. I walked into Quest and Dawn got right on the phone for me and had my test results faxed to my doctor within minutes. She made my day! read more

I wanted a yearly blood test to check my health which I have done for several years through primary provider. This year I decided to purchase the test privately through quest direct. The actual appointment was very pleasant. I only waited 10 min and they were extremely polite and drew blood easily. The issue is that my test results were emailed through My Quest and when I went to view them it said "No test results found". I have tried calling every number for quest for help with this issue. No one can help me because they said they were not able to send results to me by email because I purchased them due to privacy. They have "escalated" the situation to support team and nothing gets resolved. there isn't a direct number for test results only an email team that may take 5-7 business days to respond. I have called about 15 times spoken to 6 different people and all of them have said I see your results are available but we cannot give them to you it has to be done through my quest only. They also say we have "escalated" the situation and it should be delivered by end of day. The results never come in at the end of day. The whole point of going through quest is so called fast easy results sent at your convenience. In actuality I paid $350 for a test that the results are in but I cant view them along with the rest of quest support team and it may take a week (not including weekends) for the support I need. this has been an extremely frustrating situation. Whiling speaking to 6 different people I have been given a fake number to send a complaint along with a support specialist intentionally hanging up on my call. Finally the system to speak to support team makes no sense when it ask...patient-1, client-2 other-3, I pick 1 then next prompt is, test results-4 then it ask are you need them interpreted-1, sent by email-2, or I.T. issue concerning results-3, so I press 3 then Finally it ask for a is this for a patient-1 or Dr. office-2, if you press 1 it either sends you back to first prompt in never ending cycle or ask you to visit my quest.com for results and ends call. I WILL NEVER USE QUEST DIAGNOSTICS AGAIN! Complete waist of money, time, and effort. read more

Great Place, short waiting and good customer service

I will never do business with Quest Diagnotics again. This is the 2nd time I have been to Quest to get blood work done. The first time I was there was in June and they seemed ok. I gave them my insurance, they charged me and everything seemed normal. I needed blood work again in October so I went back and it seemed like the same procedure. They charged me twice this time, saying that I had a balance of $16 from the last visit. Not thinking of it as an issue I paid extra $16 and had the work done. Here I am nearly 2 months from when I had the work done and yesterday they charged my card $75, which caused my account to be overdrawn. I haven't been there in 2 months.... why am I getting charged without my authorization? I called Quest. They told me that the $75 was for my last visit and that both charges from the last time I was in there were for what I owned previously..... so instead of sending me a bill they used my card and charged me without my authorization. They told me over the phone when I called them that they couldn't charge me that day because the only thing they could provide was an "estimation of the service cost". AN ESTIMATION????? You know what services I am getting! You work with my insurance company! I never signed anything that said "I agree to be charged at a later date for an amount different from what I am being quoted as this is an estimation only". Never do business with them if this is the kind of service you can expect. This is straight up theft! read more

Blood work was done at Quest & wait time was not required. But getting the test results to the requesting Doctor is another thing entirely. The results as yet have not been sent to the Doctor. ..... have made 2 Dr visits & he is greatly upset with Quest labs. My Doctor tells us that they are never good at sending reports to the Doctor office. I have called Quest 3 timews now & have gotten no results to date. Never againg will I use this lab for testing. read more

I was 5 minutes before 12 and they were already closed. i was driving from north and to my surprise they were close 11:55 am! The guy that handle the door told me that he was there at 12 based on his cellphone! They have 0 customer service! Next time i will be sure to go to another quest diagnostic location! I went to Quest this morning with an order to have a lab test done today. I was told that the order needed to say, "Stat" in order for it to be tested that day. I was told that once the proper order was faxed, the test would be done today. As requested, I called my doctor who immediately faxed the appropriate order. I have now been told that the order was never received, and the test can not be performed today. I am astonished by the incompetency, unprofessionalism, and disrespect by Quest Diagnostics. The company personnel does a good job, but the corporation has BIG problems! Recently paid over $700 for labwork, signed up online to get the results and did not get them for 30 days! My 2 emails and 3 phone calls (total of 60min by phone) to have my concerns addressed were all passed off to another person, phone voice mail, or remain unresponded to! They filed my lab results in accordance to where my permanent address was, rather than connecting it to my personal presence of having blood work done in another state- why would they not connect my name with my social or phone number or such in order to locate my specimen for results? As a Nurse- I am pretty IRRATE at how poorly they organize their customer service as well as their results after having to pay sooo much for the service!! read more

Came in for blood work and urine sampling. Process went somewhat smoothly, no complications. I didn't have to wait too long before getting called in. Only problem I had was that both the receptionists and doctors were very impersonal. Kind of felt like they wanted me out as soon as possible with no questions asked. They neither payed attention nor cared about my situation. All in all, it was a mediocre experience. read more
