This was my first time at the Davis Blvd location in Naples, Fl. First off, the lab is beautiful. It's immaculate, bright and state of the art. I was pleasantly greeted and received assistance signing in. I waited less than two minutes before my phlebotomist, Achime came into the waiting area to get me. Achime was so pleasant and her skills were fantastic! Even though I watched I literally did not feel the needle go into my arm! She is literally that good! Horrible set up for getting taken care of for first time guests. You have to already know how to do everything and understand there system. I had to wait and extra 1.5 hrs to get seen after my appointment time. Needed to interrupt people to get and answer in what to do. As for the getting tests was smooth and easy not issues and was quick. read more

Do not come to this place without an appointment. You will wait 3 hours to be seen. If you do have an appointment you will be seen but after 10+ minutes have passed. The staff here is very nice! The standby process as a whole is horrible. read more

On December 15 I had to wait over an hour even with a scheduled appointment. Now I have spent an hour trying to create a Quest account to see my blood work. I have not been successful and there is no where to go for help. Quest won't give me a hard copy. I don't trust Quest to send results to my cardiologist. So Quest gets paid by Medicare and there is nothing I can do. A giant scam. read more

Thier website says although walk ins will be lower priority, they are welcome. You might wait 30 to 60 minutes. There self check in kiosk tells you the same thing. 30 to 60 minutes. Staff slows down when scheduled appointments aren't heavily scheduled and stand by just wait. I have waited here over 2 hours. Others here have waited even longer. read more

Nicest quest location. Yes i had to book my appt a week or so in advance but I believe it's common knowledge that quests are always very busy. The waiting room was clean and the checkin process was easy with it being all electronic. Scanning in your drivers license and insurance card is easy. I arrived 20 mins before my appt because I know quest locations are always busy. I was taken back at the time of my appointment and the gentleman who drew my blood was friendly and efficient. I was done in less than 10 minutes. There was a woman in the waiting room who was upset that she was on a standby list and had already waited an hour and a half from what she was saying. But I made an appointment online and was taken at the exact time of my appointment. read more

This office has the most unhelpful and lazy employees I've ever seen in health care. Absolutely aimless group of people in the lobby being delegated by rude little phlebotomist. A handful of people here with 30 minutes to close and no hopes for an appointment, even if they already paid for their service. Took me a month to get appointment for lab work. Had to take time off work, upon arrival, 20 people checked in with appointments and ten people on wait list. Finally, called back and when I told them that all my life you can only get blood from veins in my hands, they insisted that they use my arm. When that failed, they refused to take my blood, as they don't have small needles! A lab this big and isn't prepared shouldn't be in business! MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE. I went to Quest Diagnostic on the morning of 7/31/2023 for retesting of some bloodwork.I want to first disclose, I have never had to pay for any bloodwork through my insurance that I have had for over 10 years. When I gave the technician my order from my doctor she entered in the different tests and said that I would owe them $110. I was in shock. I said this isn't right because I've never had to pay anything before. She said she didn't know, that was what the computer was telling her. I decided to leave the appointment and call my insurance company. They confirmed I wouldn't have to make any payment for bloodwork. When I went back to get my blood drawn after the call to the insurance company, I got the same technician. I explained that I confirmed with my insurance company that I had no payment with my plan. She, again, said there would be a $110 fee. I expressed that there must be someone else I could talk to in the office. She resisted, at first, and then brought another woman in who said that the $110 was an estimate of what was going to be my charge if the tests were not 100% covered by insurance. I told her that wasn't going to happen, but did they need the credit card information just in case. She said they don't charge the card unless the insurance doesn't cover everything once they submit it for payment. She also stated that supplying a credit card was just optional. None of these things were explained by the original technician. It seemed very shady and deceptive that I had to question so many times to get all the information. My concern is that people are being fraudulently told to make a payment to Quest Diagnostic up front while on the back end Quest Diagnostic is also getting paid the full amount by the insurance companies. read more

Lazy and rude employees! No online appointments available, I come as a walk in, there's not one other person waiting and they still will not take me. STAY AWAY! Went as a walk in said it would be a very long wait. Went to their touch pad to make an appointment for the next day and told by the employee they don't reservations. So I ask if I came in before 8am could I be a walk Was told that would be OK. Walk in at 7:40 am and told by the employee at their morning meeting they were told not to accept walk ins. Ask employee to talk to a supervisor that I've been in two days in a row. Came back and said yes they will put on the walk in list. I have to say they took me in about 30 minutes later. Had blood drawn and went to my car and blood was all over my arm dripping onto my clothing. They took me in right away and cleaned me up and reapplied a bandage and told me to keep pressure on it. There was one person ahead of me but I was told they don't do walk-ins so I would have to make another appointment and come back then. The older woman with short hair that greeted me was extremely rude to me and all the others around me. She told me they are really by appointment only, that I should've made an appointment and there were a lot people that needed to come in before me. She was very disrespectful. Now, I would've made an appointment but I just found out the day previous that I was pregnant and my dr told me to go to quest the following day to have my hcg levels tested. Therefore, I was not able to make an appointment as there weren't any spots left but I still needed my blood drawn that day ( before the weekend) so I had to go. If they are by appointment only, you should not have it on the walls, website and answering machine that you accept walkins and then make people feel stupid if they weren't able to make one. Also if you hate your job and you are going to be rude to people for no reason maybe you should find another job. read more

Went in ahead of my appointment and was told 20-30 mins, I know walk-ins are not guaranteed but if some would of just said come back at your appointment time all would of been better. Instead I sat there like a jackass watching my number go from 2 to 7! Wasted 1hr 40 mins siting there without anyone to talk to. The nurses are straight up rude and look like they hate their life. Went to Quest yesterday on Goodlette Rd signed in and the 3 lab workers were in the back arguing this behavior went on for over 30 minutes while people piled up out front. No one was called. When one of the lab workers came out to call someone she started arguing with the clients. I was so stupid to even stay there for almost an hour never got called walked out. read more

Had my appointment for 8:40 am. My doctor had provided the lab results via email and they said they needed a paper copy so I emailed it to them. My phlebotomist asked me to wait in the lobby while they printed the paper, I said that's fine I understand they have other people to take care of (mind you no one else was in the lobby when I got there). Well she had me send it to multiple emails and after 30 minutes waiting I asked the lobby assistant, in Spanish, for an update. She said no one had received an email yet and that I would have to wait until my phlebotomist came back out to ask her about it. After waiting 2 HOURS missing work, pleading with the lobby assistant for an update, and seeing multiple people get attended, another phlebotomist came out and said they had my orders and they'd take care of me shortly. Finally, once I was getting my blood work done I asked why it took so long to print a paper she simply said "I know, sorry." They had my orders for 2 and a half hours and couldn't give me a reason as to why they made me wait so long. Then she proceeded to hurriedly and carelessly stick the needle in my arm which is now bruising and painful, see photo for reference. On top of that, during the whole 2 hour wait i witnessed several misunderstandings with the lobby nurse and patients coming in. The Hispanic lobby nurse clearly didn't understand some of the questions the patients were asking causing her to get upset and rude with patients. One lady who commented she was getting blood work done for a liver transplant asked how she could reschedule her appointment and the lobby nurse couldn't give a better answer than just repeating "call quest" over and over--very helpful indeed. This is not the first time I've seen their nurses get rude with patients over simple questions at this location, I've seen it just about every time I've gone to get blood work done. And for this reason as well as all the other reasons mentioned above, I will not be returning to nor recommending this location to anyone. I sincerely hope none of my sick loved ones ever have to experience what I witnessed here while trying to recover. read more

The blood draw i had was the worst i have ever had. I have Bruise that is 3-4 long due to the horrible treatment i received for your phlebotomist. I will never use the Davis location again and maybe never use Quest Diagnostics at all. The only reason i used them was my insurance requires i use them but in the future i will pay the cost of out of network treatment to avoid the horrible treatment levels of the incompetent technicians that Quest employ. read more

Came in at 8 am on Friday after scheduling a "walk-in appointment" online prior, the online wait time was said to be only 10 minutes and instructed for me to arrive at 8. When I arrived I was told by the receptionist the wait time was closer to an hour to an hour and a half and that the "website just does that sometimes." After waiting for an hour, I was brought into a back cubicle where I waited for another 35 minutes for the employee to add information into the computer; requiring to change my address, to then "get kicked out of the system", re-ask address, and then individually input each lab test (10+). Only for her to inform me at 9:40 that "oops one of these test has to be done by 9, we can't do it today." Very frustrated that I had been there since 8 am, but with nothing else to be done, I made an appointment for 7 am on Monday. Just arrived, and was very rudely informed I did not have an appointment because "there are only three 7 am appointments and they already all checked in" and that I would just have to check in now as a walk in and "hope you can be seen by 9." Had to ask 3 times for the receptionist to even check for my name in the system, to which she responded "look ma-am, the longer you try to convince me, the longer you're going to have to wait to be seen, I would just check-in on the kiosk and go sit down." After two back to back experiences here I can assure that I will drive the extra distance or pay the extra money to get my lab tests done somewhere else. The lack of professionalism, organization, and ability to move with any sort of purpose, absolutely astounds me. read more

No one was at the front desk to take insurance information or answer questions after you check in at the kiosk. All insurance information is taken by the technician who does the blood draw, so if there is a question or information that could have been taken care of during the wait time, you have to get out of line and wait....again. When we first walked in they got us in quick and everything seemed fine. We go into booth 5 and everything seems normal, the phlebotomist gets everything ready and she tries to find a vein. She proceeds to stick in the needle and nothing comes out. Then she starts moving around the needle while still inside trying to find a vein! She does this two times on my left arm and one time on my right while each time sticking it in and moving it around as if I couldn't actually feel anything. She blamed it on that I apparently "did not drink enough water" and told me to wait in the lobby. I asked for someone more experienced to possibly try and draw blood from me but she denied and claimed that she was "very experienced". I was obviously not dead and blood was circulating through me and I was baffled that this was the only time this had ever happened. Every other time I had my blood taken in hospitals it was a quick and easy process and it was just 1 pinch that I could barely feel and that was it. This was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had and I was visibly shaking in the lobby and my hands turned purple and I was afraid to go back in there. This was not the only bad experience I've had with Quest, (last time I went here I came out with the flu and an awful bruise). Staff seemed to not know what they were doing and some of them barely spoke English. Incompetent staff, lousy job, offered no help or assistance. Needless to say I won't be coming back. read more
