Came here this morning for routine blood work. My appointment was at 8:15, I arrived at 8:07 taken back right away and out by 8:18. Perfect! Woman who drew my blood was great, no pain. Only a few chairs in waiting room. You can also wait outside and they will text you when it's your turn. Parking was free today so huge bonus! In and out no complaints. Plenty of workers here too. I had an appointment scheduled and had checked in- even received a confirmation text. Waited an hour and still was not called. There is no admin at front desk and system skips your appointment, so the only people you can ask is the phlebotomist. You're then told to add your name to the waitlist even if you had an appointment, and are asked to wait further. When you speak to a phlebotomist the redirect blame saying you didn't hear your name being called even if you were on time. Phlebotomist did not like it when I said I was skipped and made sure the whole office knew it was not her fault. Phlebotomist got overwhelmed and ignored others asking questions and walked into the secure lab room without helping. Place was over crowded. read more

I walked in and was told by a very pleasant woman that their toilets were not working and they could not do drug screening. She said I would have to go to Simi Valley. She apologized and provided me with a map to the Simi location. Not wanting to go to Simi I stood in the hallway to ponder my options. Good thing I did! Another Quest employee came out and said the toilet was fixed and I could have my test done. The young lady who was working with me was very friendly and explained the process to me step by step. This Quest location provided one of the best lab experiences I have ever had. I think I'm going to switch from the other lab next time I need my regular lab work done. read more

Made an appointment the night before since I was turned away from walk-ins (waiting room was over-crowded). No prob, I'll just make an appointment and avoid this next visit. Day of the appointment: Messaging service gave the option of waiting in car (which I chose) vs patient waiting room and would be prompted to go up when they were ready. I go up as soon as message was received. Checked in the kiosk and nice lady/nurse in waiting room told me I should wait until called. 30 minutes go by. The room was empty after everyone was called in leaving me to be last one in the room. I go and ask what happened to my appointment. And they say they cancelled it?? She says they re-added my name to the list. Okay, no problem. I'm sure it was all a misunderstanding and the three other people that walked in 15 minutes into my wait probably had appointments.. I ask the nurse what's going on and she goes in, comes out and then she tells me just go in to the back. Bridge under water..get my blood drawn and then off I go. I get a young chubby nurse and I make no mention of the waiting mishap so as not to cause a scene and start off by asking how her day was going. She asks me if I had anything to eat to which I say I had water and some sparkling water throughout the day. She tells me to put my left arm on the rest to draw blood and..OUCH! Wtf why did it hurt so much??? I've had blood drawn enough times to know something wasn't right. And guess what, no blood. She says, "Umm,,I don't know why no blood is coming out..and those are nice veins." Then she proceeds to ask again, "Did you drink water today?" To which I say, "Yes. I had plenty." Then she has the audacity to say, "Sometimes when people get nervous..." I asked her if she was trying to say this was my fault but no response. She pops the needle in my right arm. Blood drained. Pee in cup. But I made sure to fill the urine cup near the brim so she wouldn't ask me if I drank enough water. And to let them know how 'pissed' I was in case someone asked. I go on my way with two bandages-not the happiest camper. When I got home I find that on the arm she effed up there was a scratch on my arm leading up to the hole. Wtf? So the incompetent scratched my arm with the needle before she punctured my damn arm. I shoulda asked for two cups. Shameless and incompetent~nice!! read more

I had an emergency blood sample to drop off, there were still patients and staff inside, I knocked on the door to get their attention, staff look at me and look away. This place is a nightmare. I scheduled an appointment via their online portal, received the confirmation and called to confirm the day of. However, when I arrived a very short and rude jerk of a man named Albert, took a half second look at my request document and said "we closed" before slamming the door shut in my face. Upon finding a more verbose employee, I came to discover that the online system was malfunctioning and scheduling erroneous appointments. During this time 5 others walked in with the same issues. I usually come in for labs during the week. I didn't know they were so busy on Saturdays. Wait time is currently averaging 30 - 40 minutes. Waiting area is crowded. I have to admit, staff are hands on. On another note, temperature wise.. it feels stuffy and/or too hot. Since Quest diagnostics no longer validates parking. Pre employment drug screens suck. They're a pain in the ass and nobody wants to pee in a cup! Why can't they just offer an oral swab as an option? Nonetheless, if you want the job you've gotta do it. I made an appointment for 10:15am on a Friday, arrived at 10:10 and was take in by 10:20. Not bad! When you arrive, you check in on a tablet. Once you do, your wait time is posted on a large screen in the waiting room. That was awesome! There was also a really helpful customer service rep in the waiting room (a self described "chatter box"...haha). She was really cool and friendly and helped the time pass by. Once I was called in, the woman who actually conducted the test was really nice. Here are some tips: - Make an appointment! You immediately get pushed to the top of the line asap - it's obvious, but drink a bunch of water a few hours before you go - you have to leave all of your personal property in a cabinet in the bathroom - I didn't have to pay for parking, but spaces are a little limited. I would not recommend going on a weekend if you can avoid it - be nice to the staff. They'll be courteous right back to you read more

And the city is listed on Yelp as Reseda but the location is referred to as Northridge--you know just to keep things complicated :) This was first time at this location, which is next to the hospital. I honestly was confused on where to park or enter, so I took some photos to help anyone else who isn't cool for school. *CHECK THE PHOTOS* I normally go to the location on the same side of Roscoe but further down, however, I wasn't able to find that location's info on their website, so maybe it closed (?). Waiting Time: Waiting room - approximately 20-25 mins; Services rendered - approx. 10-15 mins. Pros: *Parking - Large lot but it's busy, so expect to walk a little bit. *Sign-in - You sign in on a kiosk instead of dealing with some rude lady that hates working with people :) Cons: *Sign-in - The kiosks don't have privacy screens. *Service - Techs aren't friendly but they're not rude either. Keep in mind they deal with bodily fluids and potentially ill people all day, so as long as everything is sterile and they don't have to poke me more than once, I'm good. Tip: *Parking - Approx $4.00 and they accept credit cards. *Be patient. Maybe YouTube and practice a short breathing exercises to help you zen out while you wait. read more

Bad customer service. First of all, their automated service makes it difficult to select an option to speak to a representative. I was on hold for more than 15 minutes. The receptionist Kirstin that helped me was unprofessional. I told her I was calling on behalf of my father who spoke Spanish. She placed me on hold for another 10 minutes without telling me then disconnected the line. When I called back, Wendy said she needed to call the interpreter service line. When she got them on the line, she was not even on the line. The interpreter service was confused as to who had call them. Makes me upset that they do this to patients who are trying to obtain their medical record and have barriers. read more

This is a lab testing facility with NO administrative person to help those trying to check in. The only staff that appear to be here are lab techs and delivery drivers. The self check in kiosk is EXTREMELY inaccessible. Multiple elderly folks are having trouble with checking in. People are having trouble with the screen and the kiosk doesn't answer questions a patient might have. None of the lab techs are really able to help as they're trying to see patients. Just a terrible setup in general. Highly recommend not using Quest Diagnostics for any sort of lab testing as I've seen this issue at another location. If this is your only option I recommend having somebody go with you if you are unfamiliar with self check in kiosk systems. read more

The staff at this location are on one hell of a power trip. My doctor put in an order for a cortisol test Friday afternoon. The paper says "AM." Your website says NOTHING about not taking walk-ins. I got there about 8:45am. "Do you have an appointment?" No. "You have to have an appointment." That's not what your website says. "You have to have an appointment." This test was ordered yesterday afternoon, it says the test has to be run in the AM. "You have to have an appointment." I left. When I got to my car, I went online and made an appointment for 10am. I came back, went in. "Oh, no, so sorry, we can't run this test now, it has to be run by 9am." I was here before 9am. "You should have told them this needed to be run first thing, we would have taken you." I DID. YOU DIDN'T. I'm already under a shit ton of stress. That's why the cortisol test. The unnecessary aggravation your little dictators put me through is not helping. read more

I actually prefer this location over the other Quests because there's never a long wait. I don't know, there's another Quest across the street that takes super long without an appointment (over an hour) and this one is usually empty. I never make an appointment and longest I've waited is maby 5-10 minutes. Most of the time tho, no wait. Hopefully this review won't change that lol. read more

I was recently here at this location for a test and I generally had a pleasant experience. For those who don't know, this office is located in the Dignity Health hospital building. The parking is a little difficult to find so make sure you make some extra time for that. I successfully made an appointment the night before online which is incredibly convenient. I arrived on time for my appointment and was taken back at a reasonable time. My nurse (or phlebotomist) was a bit firm with me, which is unfortunate because working in the medical field myself, I don't think I could get away speaking sternly with patients the way she did. Thankfully, she was efficient with her job and that is what mostly mattered for me. The waiting area and the clinic inside is generally very clean; I wouldn't hesitate to come back. PARKING Available (starting from floors 2 and up); I paid $4 for a half-hour visit. They don't validate. read more

I just came here today for a urine test. The pros are that the facility is clean and they have gloves and hand sanitizer out for everybody at the front desk. The con was the customer service and experience I had once I got in. The lady who did my test was Michelle. She did not have very good communication skills and made the process a little uncomfortable and rushed it. While I was peeing into the cup she kept asking if I was done. When I said yes finishing up she was attempting to open the door. I saw the handle multiple times. I told her I need to wash my hands still and she said I should just open it because if I'm taking too long it and seems like I'm cheating and told me open the door right now. So I opened the door and gave her the sample. Then I went to go flush. She got mad at me for flushing the toilet saying that it was her job to do that and asked me what I flushed down the toilet. I was really confused at this point because I emptied out my pockets in front of her before going in. overall nice place but bad service. The worst draw station I've ever been. I understand I am walk in. The kiosk let me register as walk in at 8am on a Wednesday morning. I'm not being called after 30 minutes and no one in the front desk to ask? I step away to do my chest cray appointment a mile away at 9:30 am. I went back to Quest in Roscoe by Dignity Health building. I register back by 10 am. No one in the front desk. I've been waiting for an hour and a half. So when someone called a patient I ask like how far I am in line. They said their priority are with appointment. I understand that after 30 minutes again I told the lady Asian that I've been fasting and i started to shake because it's 11:45am and I've been waiting for more than an hour. She said to just wait. When another lady came out to call a patient her name is Monica I repeat my story she went in. When she came out she told me than they cannot service me because I do not have an appointment. Sooo ridiculous ist time ever that I was denied service after fasting for more than 12 hours and take time off from work. Their system sucks so bad service. I went for my yearly blood draw and let me tell you. It was a nightmare. I have had great experiences in the past with getting my blood drawn at different hospitals, but when I got here, I waited at least 20 minutes and felt something would go wrong. I went in when my name was called and I got some Asian lady who could barely speak English. She took my insurance and ID per usual, but then she said my insurance didn't cover Vitamin D for my panel. She tried several times to charge me $300 for Vitamin D and I kept telling her no and that it should cover (since my father gets Vitamin D tests all the time). She then said I had to pay $60 for my blood draw out of no where, which was odd. She treated me poorly and when I told her I dislike needles, she just stared at me while I was having an anxiety attack. She got mad at me because I kept telling her,"What?" based upon not understanding her. I looked away from the needle and she jabbed it in quite painfully. Usually the needle is one stick and it's fine, but this lady kept moving it while changing blood tubes. I almost passed out on the floor. She kept moving the needle around and my arm went numb the rest of the day. I now have a damaged vein and a week later, it still hurts and is blue! Don't expect great service here! I was treated horribly. Hospitals should take care of you, not damage you. I wish I got her name. She wore glasses, was very short, had black hair, and doesn't speak English. The day after my blood test, my results said,"Patient refused to show results," when I never signed to not show my results. I contacted my Doctor and I finally got my results, but this place sucks! read more

My doctor ordered blood work and clearly marked the tests down. All the tests were not run and were left off even though they took 7 vials of blood. in addition, there is no way to speak to anyone regarding this. The tests left off were the most important ones. I don't know if I need to come back in or if there was a way to run these tests that were ordered. Very disappointed in this facility. I went there even though my doctor recommended not to use them and suggested another facility. Previously I was ok with Quest but should have listened to the doctor. read more

The 3 technicians inside were laughing because we were knocking and they came out exactly at 12:02pm claiming we weren't there! They laughed at us and our son had to see that. They called her name in but took in the wrong person. So since that person went in, they technically took my moms appointment which resulted in my mom being considered a "walk in". They make people with diabetes to WAIT FOR HOURS, even tho diabetic people have to eat and be treated on time!
