BE WARNED. This location service is great but the online appointment scheduler is not. I have made numerous appointments because I didn't want to wait as a walk in and numerous times they had no record of my appointment. Most recently I scheduled an appointment and the TIME of the appointment STILL didn't match the time I came in. So I don't really know if it's a problem with the system or what. i even got a confirmation appointment code and still.... no record. Occasionally it has worked and I have received the quest confirmation text but other times it has not. So.... If ur in a rush to get somewhere..... plan ahead.

I've gone to this quest location several times now. It's always fast, I never make an appointment. I walk in and have never waited more than 15 minutes. I've always found the lab to be spotless and the staff to all be pleasant. While in the waiting room there is a tv and your name appears on it with your wait time. There is a huge shared parking lot but parking is always available.

First time using this lab. No appointments necessary and service is quick. Arrived at 9:48 checked in and was called in to register by 9:55. Out the door by 10:02. About 8 people in waiting room when arrived so still got in and out really quick. Kind of surprised my name and birthdate were not verified for identification as they only asked if my address was correct. Waiting area was clean and plenty of seats. Lab area very clean, neat, and well organized. Tech told me to sign my name and print it on a document but never told me what I was signing. Because I am in healthcare of course I read it first and what it was attesting to is that my blood samples were appropriately labeled which I saw the tech do. Overall good experience but took a star off for no identification check and not informing me of what I was being asked to sign.

After passing out a couple days ago(fear of needles) I came back to finish my labs and I requested to lay down since I am a big guy.

The lady that was training him, was not. I wish I had asked for her name. So, I'll do my best to describe her. African American, around 40's. With a very bad attitude. I sat down as she berated all the people waiting in lobby. She snatched all lab orders and spat out orders to quiet, calm, clients. A lady went up to the window for assistance. She didn't get a word out of her mouth before this lady told her to sit back down and wait until the others before her were taken care of. And, that she learn how to make an appointment. This employee continued to be short with Alexander while she "trained" him at the front desk. While I was grateful for Alexander and the other kind technician lady. This one employee made my visit very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. I hope someone in corporate goes through these review and is able to address this toxic employee.

This LabCorp location has people with appointments, waiting behind the walk-ins that do not have…read moreappointments. The young man at the front desk in a black shirt seemed to have multiple difficulties, processing orders, managing the office and getting information into the computer. At times he seemed frustrated, confused and incompetent. He also had difficulty matching up names with the paperwork. He seemed like a nice man who was just " in over his head" and needed much more training. I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes, with an appointment, waiting for a blood draw. When the young man came in to do the blood draw, he first put on gloves as expected. I informed him of where the best and most generous vein is located on me. He chose a different location with a smaller vein. Before he inserted the needle, I let him know that vein usually blows before they can get adequate needed blood samples. Obviously, I have medical issues and this is not my first go round. He swabbed the area with alcohol, inserted the needle in the smaller vein and then painfully dug in several different directions attempting to get into the vein properly.. He then withdrew the needle completely and re-inserted it three times along the same vain line, some of which were outside of the area that had been cleaned with alcohol. At this point, we were still unsuccessful in getting blood. He then left the room for more supplies and I observed him grabbing door handles, touching cabinet surfaces. And rifling through shelves while still wearing the gloves he put on to protect me from contaminants. He returned not changing gloves. He alcohol cleaned a different site (wrist). When I pointed out the best place to draw blood, again, because it is a large vain, easy to feel and is normally used for medical procedures, including donating blood. He continued as if I had said nothing. The attempt for getting blood from the wrist/hand was a repeat of multiple sticks and uncomfortable digging. At one point, he even removed one of the collection tubes from the collection line and tried to reuse the same one at the second site. I'm not a lab tech, but it seems to me that those vials are vacuum sealed, and once they punctured for collection then withdrawn from the line and set aside the seal has been compromised. However I am not a phlebotomist. The blood draw was again Unsuccessful. I was relieved when he decided to call someone else for help. The phlebotomist/site manager appeared, looking very professional in a white lab coat. He greeted me friendly and asked if I had a preferred location for The blood draw. Of course I did. I pointed it out. He gloved up while we chatted in a friendly manner and about the order which was to be filled. After cleansing the site and getting new supplies. He easily filled five tubes with blood after one easy insertion of a needle. Finally, I felt cared for by a professional. And a successful job was well done. Unfortunately, these seem to be the only two people in the office. Therefore it's not possible for this one professionally dressed gentlemen to service all the customers that were there. I highly recommend using a different location. Although seemingly cordial and well intended, much training is needed so the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and most of all with proper safety techniques. Your health may be at risk at this location in my opinion. I intend to notify the corporate office that an inspection and training needs to occur immediately. For the safety of all persons receiving services there.
