Bruise update 4 days after labs.

I had to get labs done and just went to the nearest Quest, as I've had fine experiences with them before. I scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, and still waited 20-30 minutes in the waiting room. It seemed like they were only seeing one person at a time and when it was finally my turn the guy who drew my blood didn't get the needle all the way in the vein, so I just bled internally until he was done. It's been 4 days and I still have a massive and painful bruise on my arm. Definitely will not be going back to that location.

We now have you checked in for your appointment"). I had no reason to believe there was any issue. After waiting 45 minutes, I noticed walk-in patients who arrived after me were being called first. When I asked an employee to check on my appointment, she initially said she couldn't find it. After I showed my confirmation email, she found it but claimed it had been "deleted" because the kiosk registered my check-in five minutes after my appointment time. Despite waiting nearly an hour and having proof of my appointment, she refused to honor my original check-in time. Instead, she re-entered me as a new walk-in and said I would have to wait behind about 10 patients who had all arrived after me. Even another patient confirmed I had been there the longest. When I questioned her "solution", I was told that if I didn't like it, I could go somewhere else. The most concerning part was that every piece of documentation I received actually indicated that I had successfully checked in, so I had no way of knowing my appointment had supposedly been deleted. Even after acknowledging I had been waiting the longest, the employee refused to correct the situation. I wasn't upset about what appeared to be a system/tech error, although that is also a serious problem. While this may not have been the employee's fault, she refused to do the right thing and offer an appropriate solution. Instead she thought it would be okay to keep me waiting even longer, completely disregarding the fact that I had an appointment, while also disregarding "first come, first serve." This was poor customer service and a complete failure to treat patients fairly. Please do better and learn to be kind to your patients.

Rita Adams was a conservative & brilliant executive! She was just getting to the food & activity improvement when we were told that she found a new opportunity more suited to her desired future. We would not want to stand in her way, but she is SORELY MISSED! The food has been based on cheap & overused oil. Nothing can overcome the nasty oil being used! The protein is limited to mixer of meat, bone, & grizzle that ruins every dish. Occasionally there are suspect cuts of real meat with little relation to real meat. Most often the facility depends on slices of heavily processed meat rolls. The people cooking have no sense of how to season the food! There's far too much of chili powder & coriander, to the point that we can't consider eating the poorly seasoned compositions. A superior chef is sorely needed! The activities were exceptional with Jessica Trevino. Jessica was pushed to do the job of at least 2 people, which ruined activities. The new activity director has been given far more support from CNAs, but Jessica contributed wonderful food & activities above & beyond what is currently provided.
