No receptionist to personally talk to about my situation. I was there for Oura's blood works. I got lost and the map sent me to a different building- hence I was 3 minutes late . There was no one to request for consideration because I'm only 3 minutes late. I fasted for 12 hours - but because it was their computer system that checks you in , they didn't accept me and wanted me to reschedule. The nurse who I talked to and requested if I can still get my blood work done said that I had to check in as a walk in patient. Which meant- I had to wait for hours. I left the office and just rescheduled it but at a different location. I'm not sure why Oura hired a poorly managed health office. Their system sucks. read more

Contrary to what others are posting here, it was super easy as walk in. My Dr's office said to arrive before 9am for best results and I got there around 7:45 and only had to wait 15 minutes to get my testing done. I was able to check in at the kiosk as a walk in patient. The staff was very helpful and came out a couple of time to ask who was there as a walk in, and checked with each and every one of us to make sure our names appeared on the TV screen as a walk in so we were counted. The gentleman who did blood draw today was a pro, it was very comfortable and he was incredibly professional every step of the way. Accessibility: lots of parking, including wheelchair accessible parking. Ramp to get up to the door, and a push button that opens the door. There is an elevator to get to the second floor, and then you go through the doors into a large waiting room. Check in: I came as a walk in with no appointment at 1PM. There was one iPad/tablet to check in on. Make sure to have your photo ID and insurance card. I only had to wait 3 minutes to be seen with one other person in the lobby before me (they had an appointment) and no one else ahead of me on the walk in waitlist. I was in and out within 10 minutes, while the appointment guest was early to their appointment by 40 minutes and told they would have to wait until their appointment time....that sucks! I honestly believe, with Quest, you have better luck being a walk in. The employee who helped me was a friendly woman, and she fixed an issue with my insurance popping up as the wrong one. She also asked me ahead of time if I tend to faint during or after bloodwork; she was very thorough and I appreciate that! Thank you, Quest and this particular employee! read more

Apprently I wrote the review for the wrong location. Found the correct page for the Quest location in Vista: This location was better than the Escondido one since it isn't as busy and is easier to access. Parking was easy and you can take the stairs right up to the 2nd floor. I made an appointment in advance and the one lady working checked me in, took my blood and verified my info at end. She was polite, efficient and on top of it. (I have been here twice and she was working both times.) I don't know who likes giving blood, but it was a simple, painless procedure here. The waiting area was super clean and smelled like cleaning products. The actual room blood was drawn in was also clean and comfortable. My appt time was pretty early so that may have helped as there was only 1 person waiting and no crying/screaming kids. Pluses all around! read more

Truly only of the most intentionally poorly run companies out there. Nobody works at the front desk, nobody answers the phones, very intentionally so you can't ask questions. The only people who care are the employees, who are caught between their patients and incompetent management, by design of said management. Sandra is great, she always gets my bloodwork done quickly and painlessly. I've had to come here for several blood tests over the past 2 years, she's drawn my blood most of those times and always done a fantastic job. I have really small veins in my arms, so she always makes sure to draw from my hand instead of poking at my arm which I appreciate. It's super easy to book an appointment online as well -- I don't recommend doing walk-ins since they prioritize appointments, but they're very easy to book. read more

Hello! I went in this morning and checked in over the phone, one lady calls my name (Isabela) without saying any last names, and another woman proceeds to enter the room. About 5 mins later my name (Isabela) gets called again, as I proceed to enter the room and I notice on the phlebotomist's monitor screen is another woman's name (Isabella P.). At this instant me and the other patient's father realize that we had been switched from lack of checking ID's and last names! We both proceeded to express our frustrations towards the unprofessionalism of not double checking last names before proceeding. Sandra however, expressed her concern for the other phlebotomist's mistakes and made sure to comfort me and the other patient's father by making sure to let us know that she will take it up with the supervisor, she also guaranteed that our tests would not be mixed up and for that I appreciate her service. Sandra was also very light handed, she finished the service quickly and painlessly which I appreciated and for that, all 4 starts go to Sandra. Thank you. read more

No one at the desk, no one answers phones. We got there after making sure we were hydrated, we had to use the bathroom no one to get a key from. We waited for 10 mins I knocked on the door several times asking desperately for a key and they yelled you have to wait. Extremely rude! It's very difficult to calm your child down when they have to go urgently to the restroom. Maybe be a bit more understanding with your patients. Do better. read more

I showed up for my appointment and the doors were locked 20 minutes prior to the closing time stated on the door. The Encinitas location is also locked up tight. There is no way to call the office and the corporate "help line" is awful. Not sure if these folks are headed to bankruptcy or what is going on. read more

Super upsetting with this place, no one answers you in front office , I took my 86 yrs old mother for a blood work and they told me the wait is 5 hours! she was also fasting, staff had no patience to answer and I ended up leaving after 50 mins wait! Your employee Sandra deserves either a raise or a promotion! When I arrived for my appointment, my doctors office had everything in a mess and nothing was sent over properly as it should have been. Well, Sandra went above and beyond and literally stayed after hours to help me get my test done before the holidays! She is truly the epitome of an amazing employee and she went above and beyond in every way possible! This is my first time at Quest and I usually get all of my lab work done at Lab Corp, BUT because Sandra was so helpful, I will be doing ALL future lab work through this specific Quest Diagnostics Facility!!! Got here early. Would not allow me to check in. Can only check in 10 minutes early. Lady in waiting area not wearing a mask They call her name. She tells them she's fully vaccinated and does not have a mask. They served her. I hate wearing a mask. But the sign on the door says mask required That's double standard. So I'm all checked in with appointment My appointment time was 8:40. Lots of people in the waiting area. And yes they are running late 8:50 and they still have not called my name finally called my name at 8:53 Another lady no mask walked. Staff said nothing Well I guess 90% of us complied with the sign on the door. It's easy to make appointments online and they will send you reminders through email. I was in and out in under 7 minutes and the staff is kind. I'm happy to write an update that is positive. My last two appointments have been excellent. I made appointments online, checked in when I arrived via text and was seen within 5-10 minutes and in and out in less than 20 minutes both times. Today, my phlebotomist Jessica (I think!) was awesome as was my last one as well. The front desk person was friendly and helpful too. A huge improvement over my previous visits, I hope it lasts. I also hope that the COVID restrictions and decrease in business is not the reason for the improvement, so keeping my fingers crossed. read more

I will not use QUEST again. Not only did they lose my blood work but they were brutal taking blood from my client. No one should get 5 tries to blow veins and let him leave covered in cotton balls and tape that would not stick. I am just sick about this. Lab corp here we come! read more

Not a good experience. The lab tech in February, 2015 was busy with patients. There was only one person taking care of patients. She had to do a number of different tests. It took her about 45 minutes to get the job done. I am still having to deal with the parent company, Otimum Health regarding the bill that was sent to Medicare. The doctor ordered a medically unnecessary blood test. Not the labs fault; however I found the lab technician imcomptent as she asked me the same questions many times. I do not recommend Quest Laboratories for your lab work. read more
