Well used facility for a variety of performance arts. Music, theatre, dance, and not just off the cuff stuff that can only make it in the burbs. Real shows that hit NYC Metro audiences worth the going for. Parking is well orchestrated and from what I can tell most shows are a real hit as all I've attended are nearly sold out.

Your best bet for parking may be…read moreby the train station but make sure to check the signage so you don't get a ticket, as many businesses do not allow for parking in their lots. At one time, the theater would show movies that had already been released for some time, and it was staffed by volunteers. Most notably, concession prices were cheap: $1 popcorn, $2 sodas, etc. From 2010 to about 2019 the theatre was shuttered. Thanks in part to benefactors and other community sponsors, the Theatre has been beautifully redone & hosts about 50 different types of performances per year, ranging from comedy, tribute shows, along with occasional classic movies from generations ago. They do have a small concession stand, and (at least the night I attended) alcoholic drinks were available for purchase. Went to see the Irish Tenors perform and no seat was a bad seat. They even did a meet and greet afterwards. Be sure to check out the Theatre as they do partner with local businesses on providing discounts to ticket holders. For example, showing your ticket to Luna Azzura restaurant will get you a free glass of wine for up to three days after (the) show.

The venue itself is a great place to see a show. The theater is a great size where most seats in the lower level are still pretty close to the stage. The row I was in at a ton of legroom and a comfortable seat. The entire theater was very well-maintained and super clean. Would definitely recommend seeing a show here

Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations!…read more Ever since my 4 year old daughter (just turned 5) could walk, she has loved performing whether dancing, singing, or just playing make-believe. People always told me to get her into ballet or gymnastics (the typical little girl stuff) but I wanted her to have fun and not be locked into any specific activity for 5 months with the pressure of a "recital" or "routine" or "performance" at the end. I know my daughter and her interests and wanted a class to help her to explore her creativity as well as expand on the skills she already has. Thankfully, I found Brave Bright Theater Kids! Ms. Nicole (owner/instructor) has such a warm, welcoming and child-friendly personality. The moment you walk in the door, you know your child is in a safe and positive environment. We tried out a trial class to see if it was a good fit and it definitely was. I love the variety of skills Ms. Nicole helps to develop in the children. She teaches tongue twisters, new songs and dance moves, yoga, and creative games and has the children perform make-believe and improvisational activities. I really like that she doesn't tell the children what to do, she encourages them to create an idea or scenario and allows them to make it up as they go along. And it's all imagination, no script and no props! She provides the children an opportunity to perform in front of the class with the safety that if they choose not to, that it is perfectly okay, and if they do, they have the support of the small class of friends. After the first class, I didn't even need to ask my daughter what she learned because she just started singing the "Hello, hello, hello" song which begins every class and told me all about what she pretended to be and sang another song she learned and couldn't stop talking about the class. The week continued with her talking about and performing what she had learned the first class. After the second class and so on, she continued with the enthusiasm and she'll be starting her third session with Ms. Nicole. At the end of every class, Ms. Nicole gives each child a treat of some sort (a sticker, a chocolate, etc.) with a word of encouragement and personally provides parents with an update of what or how their child did in class. This class is a great experience for young children who love to perform without the stress of memorizing and practicing week after week for a big performance at the end. My daughter has gained confidence, has made new friends, and is able to be creative and be herself in a positive and safe environment. Brave Bright Theater Kids has exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Ms. Nicole

During the course of a long evening, I had 2 Black Manhattans up and an order of baked clams, and a ton of club sodas in between. Music was legit, the King Cobra layed down some really amazing rockin blues. We saw them one night in January at Big Daddy's and they have become one of our favorite cover bands. Excellent lead guitar and vocals with some superb solo work. Scotty, who we know from another band, Blue Roots, on blues harp, outstanding. Solid bassist and percussionist contributing to solid music. We stayed for 2 of the 3 sets. Lisa E. making rounds and friends throughout the venue. Graciously gave up our table as we said our goodbyes to new acquaintances and headed blissfully home close to 11PM. Solid venue!

His band was great. Our waitress was great. She was busy. She seemed on her own, and the place was pretty crowded. I didn't care for a couple of the bartenders. I thought they were rude so I didn't really pay them any mind and just waited for my waitress to talk to. There's only one bathroom downstairs so sometimes she had to wait in line, but it was easy always people to talk to apparently many years ago was speakeasy so it really kept that great vibe. They have big booths. They kept Fred Astaire on the screen. The music was great great company at the area that it was at and was just fabulous.
