Over the past six weeks we've been dealing with drying issues stemming from a pipe burst that left our two bathrooms, Guest Room, and Garage flooded and soaked. This left my husband and I in deep stress and helplessness. Quick Dry was quick to respond, bringing in their expertise, guidance, and highly-skilled knowledge to ensure our floors and walls were free from water damage and mold! Every week they would contact me to schedule visits to check on the progress of our dryness level. They never disappointed as they would show up at the time that they were scheduled. And they would work around our us whenever they wanted to schedule a visit. There were times when I was out of town for work and they would be so accommodating to me and my schedule - and their communication was on point!! And not to forget the amazing personalities and respect that they gave me and My Husband. They would come into our house with scrubs on (ant our request) and would be respectful of our property. And all the guys were well-mannered and very respectful - Something small, but impactful! Each and every person who came into our house for visits (there were several) were so polite! I took down as many names as I could, but If I forgot anyone, I do apologize. But some of the names of our technicians were: Mick, Jonathan S, Tyshawn, Genesis, Alexander, Jessie, David, Gavin, Nathan, and Tony. These boys are great representative of the company and our great examples of what great service is. Similar experience to others. Initial representative who provided quote made multiple promises which were not upheld. They claimed the repair of demo work would be easy. It took us over a month to find any contractor willing to repair post-demo and it was more difficult than necessary because the demo was far more extensive than required based on the small amount of water damage. The demo cut out the walls all the way to the edge of the shower, making the replacement of drywall extra difficult. They removed more floor tiles than necessary, claiming it would save from breaking tiles, but they still broke the adjacent tiles around the demo. When I called to inquire about what compensation there may be for the demo extending beyond initial and agreed upon area, the male supervisor patronizingly told me he "understood I was upset." As if only a hysterical woman would be frustrated with the demo work extending beyond the initial agreement and causing further damage and repair costs. This manager had zero interest in my complaints and was sexist as he did it. I kind of can't believe Seatown recommended this company. I have previously never had any complaints about Seatown, but by recommending this water mitigation service, they lead us into a $6000+ mistake. And now we have mismatched tile in our bathroom because the tile the Quck Dry representative said would be "easily replaced" cannot be found in the store and we couldn't afford to also rip out the entire floor. I had a similar experience to others. I had an emergency leak and Quick Dry was recommended by Bee's Plumbing. It started out okay and I paid a deposit. After my insurance company denied my claim, I finally realized that I should get another quote. That contractor let me know that not only had Quick Dry not informed me that they would charge daily for the equipment but that the work they were planning which included basically cutting out most of my kitchen ceiling and completely removing my toilet in my upstairs bathroom was unnecessary. Furthermore, after having them remove their equipment they ineffectually tried to get my insurance to pay, threatened a lien, and then asked me for an extra $2400 on top of what I already had given them for no work other than setting up some equipment and then removing it again. I will never work with Bee's Plumbing or Quick Dry again and I recommend no one else does either. I wish I had discovered these reviews first. read more

They told me it was fine to sleep in the house next to 5 fans blowing the mold around with NO FLOORING. We were out of the house months longer than we should have been. They will also overcharge you. My experience with Quick Dry could not have been worse. It started out fine--the guy who came out to give the quote was very nice. They were recommended by Bob Oates Plumbing & Drain, who spoke highly of them, but I should have checked Yelp before hiring them. Scheduling: We were getting quotes from multiple companies, and Quick Dry said they could start two days later on Friday. Friday came and I received absolutely no confirmation--no email, no receipt for the deposit, nothing. I called them and spent the entire day repeatedly following up while working from home. Eventually, they told me they couldn't come Friday and promised they would be there first thing Saturday. We were already upset because we had rearranged our schedules and waited around all day. Another company could have come Thursday, and we would have chosen them had Quick Dry been honest. Saturday rolls around and, once again, I had to call all day. This time they said there was "absolutely no way" they could come and that it would now be Sunday. We ended up canceling all plans from Friday through Sunday, including Hanukkah, because of their constant scheduling failures. When I told the scheduler I was upset because the project manager promised Friday, he said they needed to have a "communication talk" with him. I reminded him that another scheduler had also guaranteed Saturday. Scheduling communication is severely lacking. Pricing & Scope: We were quoted $2-4k for a 100-150 sq ft area. I specifically asked what would push it over $2k and was told only if the damage extended further into the room, pointing to the spot. I even received a follow-up email stating the cost would not exceed $2k. No scope of work was initially provided--I had to ask for what we were getting for our money! Remediation Issues: When the crew finally arrived and began packing up to leave, I noticed they had not removed a built-in cabinet. The scope of work clearly stated moisture had been measured underneath it and that removal was included. I had also pointed this out at the start of the job. I was given no real explanation for why they skipped it. I had to make them stay an extra hour to remove it, and sure enough, it was full of moisture and mold. Had I not been paying close attention, this would have turned into a much larger mold problem later. How do crews arrive without reviewing photos, moisture readings, or the written scope? I also had my contractor review the space beforehand and gave them specific instructions for disassembly to minimize damage and repair costs. Despite this, they stacked white shiplap nails-down, scratching them badly. This resulted in several hundred dollars of repainting we now have to pay for. A few days later, I remembered I had signed paperwork noting allergies and requiring a HEPA filter/air purifier--again, listed in the scope but never provided. I had to call and schedule another visit. It's baffling that they repeatedly failed to follow their own written instructions. Ongoing Communication: During remediation, we received same-day calls saying, "We're on our way over," with no advance notice--around Christmas, no less. You have got to communicate with people in advance to ensure that they're home! By this point, I'd spoken with a scheduling manager and emailed the project manager, who acknowledged the mistakes and apologized. We clearly stated we would not be paying full price and expected a discount for the scheduling chaos, damage, and errors. We were told this would be passed to billing. Billing Problems: Equipment pickup was scheduled for 4pm on Christmas Eve, with no prior coordination. That obviously didn't work. Pickup was delayed several more days, and we were charged for those extra days despite it being their failure to plan. We were also billed for equipment rental far beyond what was actually on site. The final bill came in at $6,100, "discounted" to $4k--the maximum we were supposedly only paying IF the scope expanded, which it did not. We expected $2k minus a service discount. After disputing it, they revised the invoice to $2k, but refused to apply any discount for their countless mistakes. Also, 2 guys were here for 2 hours. There were a couple 5 min check ins. HOW does this cost $6100?! Save yourself the headache and go with someone else. If anything goes wrong, do not expect customer service to make it right. A good company owns its mistakes, Quick Dry does not. read more

I thought this was a good company. They wanted to tear out flooring that they claim was water damaged and it turned out not would be the case. They brought in Vance for about three days pooped two ceiling holes about the size of 50 Cent piece and remove the equipment and charge me $2500. That was an overcharge and their assessment of the damage was. make sure the damage is indeed what the claim it to be. I think they take advantage of insurance claims and overcharge just to get extra money. That's not good business. read more

After working with quick drive for almost 2 weeks, we found one of their workers snooping in our master bedroom closet, apparently" looking for the breaker box" when they were well aware of where our breaker was after working in our home for two weeks. They also tripped our breakers multiple times leaving our house without power or Wi-Fi which would shut off all of our security systems and remote cameras. They should have waited at least 15 minutes after setting the fans to make sure that they Sorry, sorry didn't pop any breakers. Quick Dry was recommended by Gene Johnson Plumbing. I'll keep it short - but here's a checklist for anyone else using this company, based on my experience: - They greatly exaggerated the water damages in their initial examination. I received a second opinion from my insurance adjuster - and they were shocked at Quick Dry's analysis. The verbal estimate Quick Dry provided was $13,500 (via insurance) or $6,000 out of pocket. For context, my real costs - employing a different reputable company - were less than $3K. - DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING ON THE FIRST VISIT - without first carefully reading the contract. They charged me almost $700 for 6 asbestos samples (my house was built in 2020) - which is way over market rate. So make sure you clarify why they are taking # of samples & pricing. - Also make sure to ask about the necessity of the number/placement of air scrubbers & dehumidifiers (which also come at a cost/unit). For example, they placed a dehumidifier in my garage - totally uneccessary based on the feedback from my insurance company as the room temperature needs to be maintained above 70 degrees for the machine to make a difference. I spoke to Michael Vanzant on 9/3/2025 at 11:42 am and asked how the job would proceed and he couldn't answer my questions so he said he would call me back in 30 minutes. I told him to hold back the crew that was scheduled to come that afternoon until I hear back from the insurance company and him. He said he would call off the crew. I never heard back from Michael (still, even to this day) and the crew still showed up. I told them there were too many unanswered questions on this job and that they weren't even supposed to show up. I instructed them to take their 2 fans as we got the impression that QuickDry didn't want our business because of the lack of communication and follow up. The crew loaded the 2 fans and had the nerve to ask us to write them a 5 star review so they could get a bonus on their paychecks the next day. Since this forfeited business arrangement never progressed, we hired a contractor to complete the work for us otherwise, we'd STILL be sitting on unfinished repairs. Our home has since been repaired by a contractor we hired and Beacon Plumbing has finished the plumbing portion of our project. We have learned that Beacon Plumbing called QuickDry to come to our home on August 30th, we didn't initiate contact with QuickDry. We DID get a collection bill, however, demanding we pay them $2000 for leaving 2 fans in our garage for 4 days and just received a demand letter that says an "ASBT came back negative on 8/04". We didn't even know about a leak until 8/30! Inconsistent and really unprofessional experience! We will NEVER recommend a company who has their hand in the plumbers pocket and vice versa. I could write a 5 page essay with dates and screenshots of every time Quick Dry screwed me over, had horrible communication, and did piss poor work on my home. I'll update this post at a later date when I have more time to elaborate but it is important to at least put a recent review on this page that reinforces the dodgy work this company does. I had to work with many people from this company and the only saving graces are Anna, Jesse, Andrew, Randen, and Dustin. I thank them for their help. Quick dry was quick to come out access the situation, after the plumber had called them. However after the initial start of them drying things out. I truly fell apart. They took a week to dry, called me every day after I repeatedly asked them to call my husband as I was out of town on a family emergency. They did not repair the dry wall as stated in the advertisement, and we never heard another word from them. We paid them for the drying, and more I thought was to come. They completly shut down on us and did not finish the job. I can not even give them a 1 star, I thought their not finishing the job was a downfall for me. HORRIBLE service. Was provided a quote for work to be done, they gave us a quote with a "senior discount" as they knew my mother was a senior with dementia. I thought this was kind and the initial person was very nice so I chose to go with them. They came, started the job, found out that we needed to bring in another company so they stopped and said they would be back to finish. They NEVER came back. They charged my mother the FULL bill. I began to call and email to talk about the bill, with NO RESPONSE for 8 months. They send my senior citizen mother to collections?!?! And CLAIM that they have been calling me and sending me letters. I used Beacon Plumbing for a water leak and they gave my information to Quick Dry. They were quick to come out and assess the situation, get me to sign a contract, and assure me that they'd handle everything. I was told there was much more damage than there actually was, and they made the situation seem urgent despite the water damage being minimal. They left their drying equipment and I didn't hear from anyone again, despite me reaching out, except for communication from a packout company they gave my number to without my knowledge or consent. As other reviewers have said, Quick Dry comes out right away to get you locked in and make the situation seem urgent, and then ghosts you. When I canceled my contract and asked them to get their equipment, two guys in a U-Haul with no apparent association to Quick Dry showed up to collect the equipment. I was sent a bill for over $2,000 for them running some fans in my home for 3 days. Now that I'm working with legitimate companies, they've all shared that Quick Dry is a scam and that what I experienced is typical practice for them. Do NOT use Quick(Slow) Dry. Their negligence turned a small bathroom repair into a full-scale disaster. They caused a flood that destroyed our ENTIRE home's floors, walls, trims, and only bathroom . What should have been a two-week job has left us displaced for over three months. Their management has been the worst part--ignoring us, refusing to pay for the $36,000 in damages they caused (despite admitting fault), and delaying repairs at every step. They even left our windows open in the rain, unplugged our fridge (spoiling all of our food), and failed to notify us when they arrived multiple times even though we asked multiple times for notice. They charged hundreds of dollars for afterhours visits when I was home and available all day. They sent two people to look at a little measuring tool when they could have sent one or told me to measure it. They gave no indication how much it would be. As the other reviewer mentioned they do nothing to put your home back together after they tear it apart. And in the billing process they lie and bully and do not wait for insurance to finish processing the claim even though the claim has been started. BEWARE of the Tacoma, WA office once they find out the insurance is involved the price triples. They are slow to start and slow to finish. Quoted me for 10k and after it was done increased to 46k for a small leak in a 120 square foot space. Charged 7 times for after hours fees but never came after hours. Charged for the removal of carpet but left it there. Charged for oversized equipment that wasn't necessary. Took 30 days to do a 7 day job and charged for every day. Price went from 10K to 46K to 34K and now 27K which is what the insurance paid out. Crooked company! Only included the drying process not even any repairs. Would NEVER recommend a company that overcharges by that much. Wish I had read the reviews first. read more

Rip off. This company was recommended by Beacon plumbing and turns out they are a complete rip off. The job they did was complete, but they represented themselves to the insurance company to have done much more work $11,681 for two small rooms (more than the actual construction to restore). Chance (Regional Director) never even quoted the $486 after hours fee but had no problem charging. I confronted with no response. I feel sorry for anyone working with these people. When responding, he dumped me off on a third party biller, even though his people provided the information to them.
