Why did I wait so long to bring mine and my son's laptop to get fixed. I was constantly having to delete stuff off my laptop to make space and it was starting to run slow and have some glitches. My son dropped his several months back. So it forced me to finally just go ahead and take both of them in. They suggested that I upgrade to more storage. They upgraded mine, cleaned everything up, I guess removed what I didn't need and it's working like it's brand new! My computer is working better than ever! At school, someone sat on the chair and my laptop (inside of its case) slipped to the ground. I need to check it in for repairs because it kept blue screening when I am doing my school work. Finals are around the corner so it costed me $59 for next day diagnostic. Free diagnostic is 4-5 days. IT WAS WORTH IT. Finals are around the corner and it is now or never. This is an expensive computer with such information that I didn't want to replace it just yet, even if it's only less than 2 years. I called them up and they said that there was a loss/broken component inside. I agreed to pay about $159 overall (59 next day service + 100 for repair). Even though it is pricey, I think it is fine because they also delete hidden files you cannot normally delete (me not that tech savvy) and update drivers. Alan was nice to discuss with me about the laptop and great customer service! I'll come back if I need a computer repair again. Recommend this shop! read more

I came in orrignially for a screen replacement. They were very friendly, responsive, and they really tried to go the extra mile for me. Regardless of the fact they weren't able to fix my computer to original spec. (No fault of their own, the manufacturer started outsourcing incompatible parts)they did everything they could to try to help. And when they couldn't fully fix my computer they returned it to the exact state it was in before I came in. I don't know about you but I panic when I have computer problems. I write a lot and my business depends on me being online. These guys are wonderful. Twice in the last few months I've showed up with a broken computer and they e fixed it. Just so you know, their regular service has a long response time. I think you can pay $25 extra and get 48 hr service. $60 extra and you get 24 hr service. The first time my screen was black and I had a huge project due. I took it in at 11, paid the $60 and picked it up at 3. They replaced the component, cleaned the fans, and did a few other extra things. I think it was $160 total but I made my project. The second time it was a software issue. I took it in at 10, paid extra, and it was ready by 12. They also fixed a fan issue. Sooo... I don't know about you but I'm always thrilled when people keep their word, do a great job and give me more than what I pay for. Love these guys. read more

The last place I took it to told me that my computer was just to old and they gave it the old college try but could not fix my computer. So I found quick fix online walked in and they offered to diagnose computer for FREE and gave me a best and worst case scenario for my computer, which I appreciated. The gentleman that helped me was Fabel and he was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I'm a full time cinematographer and do all of my own editing. After having a horrendous experience with Apple machines as my main editing computer, I decided to build a custom PC specifically for editing and get away from Apple. All was going well for about six months. Shortly thereafter, my PC would give me the "Blue Screen of Death" anytime I was editing within Premiere Pro (no other app or internet browser would cause this) with the error code: WHEA UNCONTROLLABLE ERROR. The entire computer would crash without warning or any real reason. Over time, this got worse and worse and worse to the point where even clicking on the Premiere app the entire computer would crash, going to the "Blue Screen of Death." I did my research on Yelp and came across these guys who had great reviews and seemed like the right choice. And, it certainly was. I took in my computer last Friday and explained the issues. They explained this issue wasn't uncommon, but it was in machines like this that are under two years old. After about six days, they got back to me, explaining what they found in their diagnostics, the cause, and what they did to repair it. And, it worked! No issues whatsoever and I have a 90-day warranty with them. They were friendly, understanding of my frustration and concern, and got it figured out, and fixed at a very, very affordable price. I was concerned it'd be a bit pricey, but I found my final total to be very reasonable and fair. I will certainly be returning to these guys anytime I run into computer issues. Took my laptop as a last stitch effort to save it when Fry's basically told me it was DOA. Fry's wanted to charge me $150 just to analyze my computer. I am not a newbie when it comes to all things tech, so I opted for a second opinion. I found Quick Fix with a local search and saw all these glowing reviews! Rather than buy a new laptop, I wanted to message them and check out my options. They replied within 5 minutes and even gave me some suggestions to check out before bringing my laptop into the office. I took my laptop in to have a diagnostic check done (free by the way...suck it Frys!) by people who are actual tech pros. As suspected, hard drive way on it's last legs. If I could give this place 10/5 stars I would. Anytime I had a computer issue, I would take it to a store in Long Beach, they weren't always nice and charged more than they should. Thank goodness they were closed (even though all of the signs on their door and google indicated they should have been open). I found Quick Fix. Fable was so patient while listening to all of my concerns for my wife's laptop. I mentioned that there were some files she needed that day for a graduate class project. Fabel was able to unlock the hard drive and put the files we needed onto a usb drive, which he let me borrow to get the files home. When I asked how much it would cost to fix the laptop, I was quoted a price WAY LOWER than the computer store I had frequently gone to. The computer was fixed two days before the estimated date. AVOID THIS BUSINESS! I wish I could give a lower rating than 1 star. FELIX was an uptight, unpleasant, and misogynistic employee who I was forced to deal with. After sending my friend to get a quote for my laptop, Felix said it would cost $227+tax to fix. However, upon bringing the exact same laptop in, only two days later, I was quoted $256+tax. The only variable that changed was my friend being a man and I being a woman. Not once was I taken seriously, not even as he walked back to his computer to resume playing his precious video game. No eye contact after putting him on the spot about changing the quote. Just a bunch of mumbling and aggressive behavior. Two hours later, I am home and get a call from the business. The man tells me over the phone that they want to change the total to $285! I ask why, and he states that there is a screen he wants to use instead that looks nicer. After stating that this is incompetent treatment of customers, the man over the phone agrees and says the original price is good. Good to know there's no shortage of men trying to rip people off at this business! Not to mention, the business scratched the metal of my laptop. I have pictures of the device when I dropped it off, and pictures of the new scratch directly from the pickup counter. Incompetent service and, not to mention, NOT a safe space. read more
