I am posting this review on behalf of AMC Theatres at Katy Mills, as I am a manager at that location. Our company has instituted an extensive Safe & Clean plan for all our theatres which requires the use of Electrostatic Sprayers that we must use between every screening throughout the day, so these sprayers are crucial to keeping our guests safe. One afternoon we fired up a sprayer only to find the wiring assembly between the sprayer and the battery had been severed. That night, I called a 24-hour electronics repair place and they recommended Quick Fix Plus, to which they often outsource their work. I can break electronics. I can break anything. I have a problem dropping things. It's just the truth. I dropped my iPhone regularly for a few months. Even with a case, I was able to damage it. Finally, I dropped it face down without a case on the hard floor of an airport. This time my phone was rather unusable. The screen was so cracked I was worried I might cut my face, and I could no longer read most things through it. I was in Katy for work, and went to get my phone fixed after work one day. Not only was I delighted to see their hours of operation extended until seven, but the man who fixed my phone was so helpful and so fast. I think it took 10 minutes, and I got a brand new phone back, advice on what to expect from having a new screen on it, and his advice on which case I should put on it. This review is for Quick Fix Plus at 12343 Murphy Rd, Stafford, TX 77477: I brought my laptop in because it fails to boot up properly. It kept getting stuck on "Protected by HP sure start". They said it's the bios chip and it's going to be $140 to replace the chip. Two months later, it started to do the same thing. I brought it in because they offer a 3-month warranty. This time they said it's hard drive failing, not the bios chip and it's going to take $160 to replace the hard drive. I took the laptop back and run extensive hard drive diagnosis 3 times! 3 times the system says the hard drive is okay... Well, I bet they didn't even replace my bios chip but just flash the bios. Do NOT come here. You've been warned! read more

After getting my screen replaced here for a crack I went about my business. A week or 2 later the screen became unresponsive and turned off randomly. After going to try and resolve the issue with the warranty they had offered, I was turned down for "Having a scratch bigger than a 1/4 of an inch" After telling the guy that was completed bullshit and I wanted my money back the owner came in and tried to offer me a discounted screen instead. I had an expensive Lenovo laptop which the warranty expired after one year of purchase. I had the blue screen of death and it wouldn't boot or work. First of all I want to say ( CODY ) is a very nice man. He understood the situation was WRONG!! So here is our HORRIBLE!!!! experience with QUICK FIX PLUS. They had my computer for a month. I had not heard from them, so I stopped by to pick it up. My computer was still not done after a month. Cody told me they ordered a hard drive and 2 of them came in bad! So that is why it is not done yet. Then Cody called the owner and said the lady is here to pick up her computer and the owner said O it will be done in the next day or so. I was upset it had already been a month. Then Cody asked the owner do you want to talk to the customer? and the Owner would not speak with me. My husband went down there 2 days later to pick it up, but my computer was not snapped back together, and they replaced my touch screen with a regular screen and all the programming was off of it. My husband said why is the screen not a touch screen and why is the computer not put back together properly. They had no answer. They never called us to let us know they were replacing the touch screen, never called us to say hey we are having trouble with the companies we order products from to fix the computers are sending us bad products. Never made 1 phone call to us in a month. So now we are angry as hell!!! my husband told the owner to put my computer back together the way it was in the first place and I will it somewhere else. So, we picked it up the next day and noticed we didn't get our charger back! DAMNIT!!!! now we must go there again! My husband went down there today to pick up the charger and they gave us a universal one. Not the charger that goes to the computer. HELL what's next !!! My husband was pist at this point!! and yelled at the owner. The owner told my husband I am calling the cops and my husband said for what because now you can't find my charger and your disorganized and you won't give me my charger back. You probably took my touch screen out of my computer and sold it, So the owner asked my husband to leave and he left PIST!. When my husband came home and told me what happed. I called QUICK FIX TO TALK TO CODY and said I am coming with the Police so there are no problems. Before I leave my house. Some cop that doesn't sound like one calls my phone and says I am not allowed to come up to the store to pick up my Charger. And it's a civil matter. You have got to be kidding me!
