Larry did not explain the Only Office app and I couldn't understand how it worked and also accessing any documents on my Word For Windows. My HP printer and brand has been replaced twice with the exact same brand and model. I never had an issue with the printer ever in the past until I had to replace it for the 3rd time. I never could figure out how to work that app that Larry installed. He never mentioned anything about my Windows on my computer. it's obvious that you could care less about my horrible experience with your company! You couldn't even take the time to call me and apologize for my bad experience. You only care about overcharging customers and not making things right. Believe what you want to believe. I am an IT professional myself and ran across a hardware issue that's a little different then normal. I had some bent pins on my motherboard. Since I'd been in the shop before, I gave them a call. I went in with a broken motherboard and walked out shortly thereafter with a fully fixed part. Do I recommend bending the pins on your motherboard? No I do not. What an amazing business! This is such a professional operation. Less than 6 months ago I purchased a new PC from HP 34" Envy Gaming all in one. It was one of the most expensive units I ever purchased. I thought it was well protected by McAffe and iObit Pro along with Windows Defender. All this trash software that is quite expensive never found aall the malware that found its way onto my computer files. Last week I noticed my cursor dancing around all by itself. I tried to stop it and my computer was shut down hard. I called Impress Computers and they recommended I go to Bits & Bytes since they were now handling Corporate accounts. Bits & Bytes told me , no problem for us, we will recover everything. They blew me away! All my 2023 tax information was on this computer. I was promised my computer back in about 4 business days. How can anyone argue with that? I got a call a day and a half later to come and get my computer, it was as good as new. I cannot say how satisfied I am as a customer. m They were too fair on my repair. I was advised never to use the aforementioned antiviruses, I loaded my computer with Antivirus called ESET. These guys did it again! NEVER have I done an upgrade to Windows anything where it worked, first time! NEVER! I had a 1 TB cloned SSD installed to replace the Slooooow internal HD that my HP came with. Not only did they crack-open the notebook, swap the drive, and re-seal the around in 40 minutes, the bloody thing worked! First time! Great guys and I'll be back to visit them. read more

They have helped me with questions about my computer because I am not as savvy as I used to be. They didn't talk down to me. They understand that users come in all types. I was so exited about the great reviews and fast email response. They were reasonable and what they said made sense. I am not mad at them but rather disappointed. The way they do business seems unfair: You pay around $150 for diagnostic expecting they will figure out what is wrong with the machine only to learn that they did not found what the root cause was. They also expect you to pay for parts for them to test them out. If the part they replaced was not bad, they still charge for it. I am a service provider myself and rather loose a business than a customer. I was not impressed. They should keep on trying what was bad with my computer and be honest about their lack of expertise with Macintosh. I went to ExperiMac and paid a $50 diagnostics. Two days later they told me what was wrong with the computer. Super friendly and honest people. Bottom line, make sure what you are paying for and make it clear what "diagnostics" really means. For me it's just expensive labor with the hope they will know what is wrong with it. read more

I accidentally cracked my laptop screen. It still turns on and I work from external screens so I thought no big deal. However, it is a touch screen laptop and it was the screen (due to the crack) was detecting something touching it so my mouse was constantly triggered there. Called these guys and they were explaining how this screen is almost as expensive to fix sometimes as buying a new computer. It's pretty much brand new. They asked me to bring it in so I did. They turned off the touch screen for me (I had tried to do this on my own and could not figure it out) in less than 2 minutes and now everything works like new. Thanks guys!! My favorite computer shop. Virus problems, clean up, protections put in place, cleaned up the laptops. Very knowledgable experienced, practical, and helpful. Thought I had desk top fan problems, ended up being the power supply. They provided new Power supply and let me Install and test it right there in the shop!!! They saved me! I took my flash drive in to Bits & Bytes when I accidently bent it while it was in my laptop. As a writer, I work off my flashdrive since I never know where I'll be when I want to write something down. I do back it up weekly (new stuff) and had just made a full backup to another flash drive the month before but it turned out to be corrupt, so I was panicking. I took the bent drive, although with a new blank one, on a Thursday afternoon on the way home from work, about 5:30pm. They told me they'd call me when (and if) anything could be salvaged. I got a call the very next day around 3pm. They saved everything! Not only were they fast but thorough. They saved me tons of time and rewrites. Thanks to the guys there. I made a yelp account just to leave this review, that is how strongly I feel about this place. If I could leave less than one star I would. I went here two weeks ago looking for a solution to a piece of an aux chord that I had jammed in my laptop. The employee there (who was very nice, the one good thing I have to say about this place) immediately offered me a usb adapter. I provided the link for this adapter at the bottom of my review. They charged me more than FORTY dollars for a device that costs 10 dollars elsewhere. Clearly, it was my mistake to trust in the good nature of a store like this to not be so blatant about their overpriced items. Not only that, after I decided I didn't want said device, I called asking about returning it. I was told, almost word for word "just bring the receipt and we'll return it for a 15% restocking fee". I did so, and then I was repeatedly told their policy is that I have to provide the original packaging as well. I absolutely shredded the original packaging trying to open this thing, it would have been entirely useless even if I hadn't thrown it away. I was told by the employee there to wait until the manager was there and he might be able to do something about it, so I did. When I talked to the manager, again I was repeatedly told about this "policy". I was ripped off, then misled and now I am stuck with a product that I don't want or need and that is worthless to me. They know fully well they could have accepted it as is, new and with the receipt, that even if I had brought them pieces of plastic as "packaging" that they would not have used that packaging to resell it. I even told him I would accept a 50% refund, and he refused. They clearly care more about their money than their customer, and regardless of how knowledgeable they may be about computers I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
