Not good service . I brought my phone in with the back and from cracked and camera cracked, they gave me a price of 200$ for the everything to be fixed including the camera. And I went and got my phone and they didn't fix the camera and then they claimed they told me "camera lense" and not the camera. Then they didn't fix the camera they just put on a sticker lense. Then I realized they made my flash light and speaker not work when they both worked perfectly fine before, and I brought it back in so they can fix it , and when they "fixed it" the speaker was still not working . And they keep trying to take my phone in for multiple days. Even though I have been going back and forth fourth to the place MULTIPLE times. And still no one can hear me in any video I take or voice messages. I don't recommend coming here at all. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I went in to have my battery replaced, which is a job that usually take 15-30 minutes. The owner, Nick, tells me to come back in 2 hours. Although I was shocked I obliged and came back 2 hours later and he then tells me that his technician damaged a connector pin that connects my battery to the motherboard. I was shocked!! Changing a battery is usually very simple, yet his technician damaged my laptop. Nick then tells me to come back a day later and the issue will have been resolved and the battery replaced. I came back a day later to find out that their technician lost a screw for the back panel of my laptop as well as all the screws that connects my battery to the motherboard. If that is not enough, Nick hands me the laptop battery that I had brought in to be put into my laptop. His technician not only damaged my laptop, lost screws but also didn't do the job as asked. When I showed discontent, Nick put the blame on me telling me that I was apprehensive from the beginning (who wouldn't when a supposedly professional technician damages my laptop for a simple battery replacement??!) and that he likes to be honest and that the battery will be replaced within the next 2 hours. How can his reputation be trusted when this happens? I simply took my laptop and went to a more reputable laptop repair shop, who charged me the same amount but did a quality job versus damaging my laptop. read more

Do not go here! I was told to come in with my phone before 6:30pm - came to drop off my phone at 6:10pm - door was locked, lights were off, and no one was answering the phone. I called and left a voicemail that I would like someone to call me back about this and no one did. (I had arranged for a babysitter to go to this store so this was incredibly inconvenient). So with no one calling me back, I called the next day and explained the situation and the man on the phone was incredibly rude - no apology and offered no way to make up for my troubles. Said they closed early due to rain but I was told to come there 4 hours earlier by 6:30pm, so either a phone call or even a sign on the door explaining they closed due to rain would have been appreciated. He just kept asking "what can I do for you?" Over and over. Then he told me I could take my business elsewhere. Truly an incredible experience - definitely not customer friendly. Dropped an Ipad off at 12:00 to get fixed was told by an employee they would call me later that evening to let me know what the issue was and if they could fix it. Called at 5:30 since I hadn't heard anything and was told that they wouldn't be able to check it until tomorrow - what was the point of telling me they would know this evening what the problem was if that were the case. He then told me it wouldn't be fixed at the earliest until Friday evening or Saturday. When I let them know I would just pick it up and take it elsewhere he said he would have to put it back together... but a moment ago you just told me that you wouldn't be able to take a look at it or check it until tomorrow so why would you need to put it back together if you hadn't taken a look at it. I just went in yesterday to get my screen replaced. I paid extra for tempered glass and the higher quality glass which I was told came with warranty. My phone fell while I was sitting on my sons kids chair so not a far fall and both the tempered glass and the screen class broke. Im now going to try a different iPhone repair place because I'm livid that I payed over $200. Make the drive to UPI commutations they are a great place over there and it's only $99. Don't waste your money. Also they took 5 hours 10 am to 3:40 pm to fix my screen. The other place takes 2 hours. read more

I'm very happy with the work completed by cell n trade. We had a broken iPad mini 2 and finally decided to fix the cracked screen. The screen was missing large chunks. Called them up, they didn't need to order any parts and I dropped it off. Pre paid for the service and was extremely happy when it was returned to me. I think the return time could have been quicker but they were swamped so it's understandable. He also provided a free glass screen protector. Awful. Have used for several years and just took two phones for new glass at another place cause I'm out of town, and they showed me where the plates were missing and several screws were missing. He also super glued camera piece from the inside cause he broke it off when taking it apart. Also said he uses cheap C grade glass. I won't ever use him again!! Cracked my iPhone screen pretty badly that I had to tape it for a couple of days before getting it fixed. Went in a little before 6, had my phone ready and picked up by 6:45. My home button worked fine when I got it back, but then stopped working after a couple hours. Went back the next day and they fixed it within 20 minutes. A couple of days after, I noticed that only one side of my speakers was working. And when I press on the screen, I can feel that it is loose or not fitted properly on one side. The Basics: They had the part on hand, did the work while I waited, were cheaper than anyone else that I called (in some cases, significantly cheaper), no attempts at up-selling, & they did a good job with quality parts. The Details: Broke the screen on my Lg G4. Tiny pieces of the glass kept falling out & the light sensor was obscured by the crack so the phone was a pain to use. I have insurance, but was not thrilled at the idea of sending my brand new phone in and getting someones problem child refurb. Looked online & found replacement part for $70-$80, but was not keen on waiting a week to get the part when I couldn't even properly hang up the phone at the end of a call without taking the battery. Called around to 4 places in Katy area, some where quoting $300 & would have to order the part... wtf. Cell N Trade was by far the cheapest & had the part on hand. The sell the part for $89 if you want to do the swap yourself (Lg G4 is actually supposed to be relatively easy), but for $135 (before taxes) they did it for me in about 45 min (with taxes it was the same price as my insurance deductible). The guy who owns the place was very nice. He can do apple products himself, but has a tech for the other brands. The tech is apparently not in on weekends & is only there till 6 during the week (they close at 7). However, they were nice enough to have the tech hang around (I could not get there till 6) and fix it when I showed up. They do advertise that they can supply loaner phones, I did not take advantage of that, but did see him give a loaner to another customer who's fix was not going to possible that day. FYI: They also do computer repairs. They do have cases and chargers for sale, although it does look like they are more apple centric. They have a selection of used tablets and phones for sale. read more

SHEISTERS!!!! I called them ahead of time and asked for a quote for my Iphone 4S (mint condition) that i wanted to sell and they quoted me $60-70. I took off work early to sell my phone at their location. They told me the best they could do was to buy for $53.27. I asked them where they got that price from and they said that is what usell.com has the phone valued at...I was pissed. Then I saw a used phone exactly like the one I wanted sell to Cell N Trade in their store under the glass and they had it marked for $229.00. I said "you are selling the same phone for $229.00 but you want to buy the same phone from me for $50 and some change"... I don't thin so..screw that and their sheisty business practices. read more

I'm surprised to see any negative reviews. I purchased a Groupon to replace my (severely) cracked screen for my iPhone 5s. To be honest my screen needed to be replaced a long time ago (8 months approximately), but I just found to many excuses as to why I couldn't part with my phone (first world problems). I imagined it would take at least a day to replace if not more. When I called them, they informed me that it would take a maximum of two hours. Before I had any other second thoughts, I jumped in my car and told them I would be there in 10 minutes. They in fact did stick to the two hour timeframe, and my phone looks as good as new!
