As I drove up to the supermarket I realized I had passed it before and found it interesting. This is perhaps the smallest ShopRite I've been to in quite some time. It really looks like this was originally a small neighborhood market that has been renovated over the years. The most recent renovation looks very recent, probably in the last few years. The sign is very shiny and new, the exterior is super clean and the interior is bright with a lot of the new lighting that ShopRites everywhere have been installing. That said, the store is smaller than say Garwood or Linden so expect smaller aisles and tighter turns as you navigate your cart through the store. Item selection was unexpectedly good. I find as a chain of supermarkets ShopRite locations vary in their stock. I figured with such a relatively small space they would have to limit their stock to the only a handful of brands but the selection was nice. For instance, they had about five or six different brands of peanut butter and a good selection of items in their Asian sauce section. The produce also looked nice and fresh. On top of all that I was impressed by their selection of items like Beyond Meat and Impossible Burgers. I did not really interact with the staff other than checking out. No one was particularly friendly but they weren't *unfriendly* either, just very neutral. This was not the best ShopRite ever, but I enjoyed the visit and it's good to know if I'm in the area I can pick something up here.

Still a convenient stop if you're in the area, but something as simple as Sun Chips (for example) not being available just makes no sense to me. It happens a lot, which is why I no longer frequent this location. Customer service is not very helpful either. They seem to not have any answers to any questions.

I rarely go to this Whole Foods because I never liked the staff…read more But I was in the neighborhood and strapped for time so I did my weekly shopping here. It was pretty empty and I got a carriage full of food quickly. First compliant -- Young guy working in the store, pushing a cart around, almost hit me. He didn't say excuse me ... No, I did. I apologized to myself on his behalf. LOL! Second complaint -- Nasty cashier. There was NO ONE at Cashier #3, so I approached. The woman let out a sigh. I said, "Oh, you're busy" (she wasn't) and I went to go somewhere else. She insisted I go there, yet the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. THEN the lady behind me, the cashier was very pleasant too. I think that qualifies as being rude and judging someone without knowing them? I think so. WEIRDO. Third complaint -- The green onions were rancid! The color did look off, and I tasted them -- disgusting! I can't stand this store. It's a waste of a beautiful store because the workers here are obviously incompetent. They can't get rid of groceries that are bad. No one here likes to work. This is the worst Whole Foods in the state of New Jersey. Gross!

The best cakes here are the tiramisu and the tres leches. They do have cheaper than average organic milk (but check the expiry dates) and they have a good food bar (mac & cheese and the wings are a good choice usually, and the curry usually smells delicious) but at $12/lb, it can be expensive if you aren't careful.

At nine inches it hit the spot. ;) In fact, it's big enough for two, and perfect as is. With a great balance of vinegar and cheese and a dusting of parm, it had that classic flavor you can't fake. If this sandwich ran for governor, it would win. We also tried a couple of their Sfogliatelle. It was flaky, crisp, filled, and way bigger than expected. My whole family enjoyed them so next time I'm getting four. A real neighborhood gem! NOTES/TIPS: **Family-run, fast service, solid food. Hot dinner entrées, catering, and antipasti platters available. **Grocery section has biscotti, pasta, olive oils, and spreads- good for gifting. **Order on DoorDash, ChowNow. The place is small yet mighty and very clean. Thank you, Scott, and team, for continuing to offer such a great corner store with delicious foods!

I was expecting to be blown away by the experience as this is the famous influencer Gary V's…read morefamily's store, where he got his start marketing. This business is what made him a multimillionaire, so I expected it to me magical. It was pretty ho hum. I lean towards the finer wines and liquors, so right off the bat it was disappointing. They didn't even have Tignanello in stock ... they said they could probably find a bottle online. The employees don't walk the floor ... there are lots of young-ish employees sitting at desks who have all the personality of robots. Seriously, after interacting with a few of them, I wondered if the store was closing because they seemed so put out to talk with me. The cashier was the same way. The upper level is where all the liquor is ... a very good selection. Not quite Total Wine ... They had very few rum brands and very few bottles of good gin. They did have a few bottom-level allocated items ... but no Forteleza, Pappy, Weller, etc. The markup was also incredibly high ... $150 for a bottle of Old Fitz 7 Year old bourbon. That's $70 at Total Wine. I left with a few cheap bottles at a very good price ... but they didn't have a lot of high end wines for purchase. Mostly $12 - $25 on the shelves. They had some 'special wines' they were pushing hard, showcasing a 96 point scored wine they claimed was $100 but marked down to $30. The 96 rating came from James Suckling (the biggest scammer in wine ratings) ... after a little googling, I saw that the average score was 92 and no other stores seemed to carry this. It was just okay. I was very disappointed they didn't have much Bordeaux and what they did have was a mish mash of average vintage years. Overall, I think I will skip coming back. It wasn't really anything special in terms of prices or selection. The little high end international grocery store and cheese shop was pretty cool though. There's a place called Gary's Wine about 20 minutes away, which I like a lot better.

Now this is my kind of library!…read more Wines galore - everything you can imagine. And organized! This place is two stories. The main area is wall-to-wall aisles organized by wine varietals. The upstairs area houses a lot of specialty wines, including Kosher, and a bougie wine cellar with rare and expensive bottles kept at temperature. They also have a market section where you can purchase meats, cheeses, pastas, and other little goodies. This place is truly a one-stop-shop. You can find an inexpensive bottle to enjoy, or you can find a big, special occasion bottle. Jim G helped us locate several of the wines we were on a mission to find. He spent nearly 30 minutes with us and ensured we found everything we wanted. He also offered some great recommendations based upon our favorites. We so appreciated his passion and expertise! Maybe it's better we don't live close to this place because we'd spent way too much money way too often!
