    !! YUMMMMMMERS !!
    Bill M.

Big fan of "all things Trader Joe's" and I gotta say that the Millburn Store here is a very solid representation of their brand. So I find myself lucky enough to have three TJ's within my area of operations and I'm always interested in seeing the different types of inventory that each store carries. Plus it's a great way to get me to try new and different things instead of the same old boring stuff at other places when shopping for groceries. My only issue is whenever I really like something it's usually the thing that disappears off the shelves first, which totally sux, lol. But I guess that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes right?    Anyhow when it comes to filling up your cart FULL of YUMMMMMMERS, you just can't beat a good Trader Joe's. Come And Get Your Shopping On!!

This TJs has the goods. Lots of new items, larger than Westfield and a little easier to navigate. Every TJs parking lot is disastrous but this one was a little better than most.

Sometimes out of inventory and people aren't always careful in the lot. Still, friendly staff and the checkout is quick. Pretty straightforward layout and limited, mostly proprietary SKUs keep it simple. Stickers at the checkouts for kids. They have various produce and meat, a lot of different Trader Joe's specialties. They also have a few plants up front.

a $10 arrangement (there's more to it than shown)

Flowers. Chocolate. Cheese. Sometimes life happens and I need flowers ASAP. Trader Joe's to the rescue!!! They provide a good variety of bouquets and loose same-type bunches that you can easily make into a decent arrangements for under $10. For chocolate, they have good bars of varied bitterness and containers of chocolate-covered nuts, pretzels, caramels, and mints which are excellent as gifts for coworkers as "thank yous" or holiday presents. Then when I entertain guests, I come here for cheese that's a little more special to add to my cheeseboard. For seasonal items, my daughters especially like their super easy gingerbread house kit and Halloween one. Staff's extremely helpful and will go in the back to search for an item. Go Joe! TIPS/NOTES: **Most items offered are the store brand which helps keep prices low and lower than Whole Foods, but eggs and milk are slightly higher. **Plenty of parking, shared with Pet Smart. There's additional parking at a higher level. **Wheelchair-accessible, especially if parked store-level. **No wine.

I thought when I came here it wasn't going to be as much of a mad house as the other stores but I was wrong. Despite the chaos the workers kept it together. A lot of things I was looking for was missing so I had to settle for what I could get. The good thing was the line moved very quick.

As I drove up to the supermarket I realized I had passed it before and found it interesting. This is perhaps the smallest ShopRite I've been to in quite some time. It really looks like this was originally a small neighborhood market that has been renovated over the years. The most recent renovation looks very recent, probably in the last few years. The sign is very shiny and new, the exterior is super clean and the interior is bright with a lot of the new lighting that ShopRites everywhere have been installing. That said, the store is smaller than say Garwood or Linden so expect smaller aisles and tighter turns as you navigate your cart through the store. Item selection was unexpectedly good. I find as a chain of supermarkets ShopRite locations vary in their stock. I figured with such a relatively small space they would have to limit their stock to the only a handful of brands but the selection was nice. For instance, they had about five or six different brands of peanut butter and a good selection of items in their Asian sauce section. The produce also looked nice and fresh. On top of all that I was impressed by their selection of items like Beyond Meat and Impossible Burgers. I did not really interact with the staff other than checking out. No one was particularly friendly but they weren't *unfriendly* either, just very neutral. This was not the best ShopRite ever, but I enjoyed the visit and it's good to know if I'm in the area I can pick something up here.

Still a convenient stop if you're in the area, but something as simple as Sun Chips (for example) not being available just makes no sense to me. Delighted at the selection of products. Non-perishable Kosher section was abysmal (laughable) as is typical. BUT while browsing the frozen section for a delicious kosher treat I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon something I was convinced to be an Ikea exclusive, the almond chocolate caramel daim cake! That cake is delicious and at only $6 an amazing deal. The prices at lidl are very affordable, only one employee in the entire store that I saw last night at around 8pm. Shout out to that employee hustling to check everyone out while also monitoring the self check out, you deserve a raise sir.

I found what I needed, and the produce was in good shape and was fresh. I also found some deals in the Lidl Middle aisle - cute, reusable handwarmers and food containers. Reading other Yelp reviews, I suspect there may be a difference in the experience for shoppers in the morning and those at night. I was there in the AM, probably within the first hour it was open. Note: The Union Lidl sells alcohol. I was surprised to see this. This section is along the wall furthest from the entrance.

I said, "Oh, you're busy" (she wasn't) and I went to go somewhere else. She insisted I go there, yet the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Third complaint -- The green onions were rancid! The color did look off, and I tasted them -- disgusting! I can't stand this store. Many months later, I came back and Green Way Markets had taken its place after a significant renovation! Using a modern design sensibility, this market uses a lot of black, silver and white colors with bright lighting to create a look that is both utilitarian and welcoming at the same time. The market looks and feels clean and organized, with good sized aisles. This isn't a Costco or Shop Rite, so you can't go barreling down the aisles with a cart, but I never felt crowded in. Green Way Markets carries some items I would definitely consider a bit more upscale including some of their yogurt selections and items in the meat section (I recall seeing both duck breast and caviar). They also carry items that not all smaller markets carry like plant based meat products. There is also a prepared food counter that also has baked goods like cakes. I suspect most folks would probably use larger markets for their "main" food shopping but this is a fun place to check out some brands you normally don't see and maybe pick up some specialty items. I recommend checking it out. After all, it's always great to have options!
