I am not from around here so I wasn't sure what to expect from the city of Rockford. But after coming here I could definitely see myself living here. An absolutely beautiful spot, very walkable town and if you're nearby, stop here for sure. I got a pumpkin spiced latte because apparently we are in the season already. Such an adorable coffee shop downtown Rockford! The décor is minimal, but is a nice bright aesthetic. The coffee is wonderful, and I like the variety of drinks they have on the menu. So far I've only had a plain coffee and a mocktail, but both were very good! We also received a bag of coffee beans for Christmas that were really a treat to grind and brew at home. They sell whole beans or ground coffee, which is great for those of us who can't get into town as much as we'd like to pick up a coffee. They're a great additional to downtown Rockford, and I'm excited to watch them grow! read more

How did I not know about this hidden gem of a coffee shop? If you work from home, you need to come check this place out if you need a serene cool spot to hang out at. They have indoor and outdoor seating and even seating by the river! I chose a spot by the river and it's euphoric. Coffee is excellent quality; best espresso I've tasted in Grand Rapids if I'm being honest and I go to so many coffee shops. Also has the best bathroom in a coffee shop I've seen; they even have a full on changing table!!! Great place to come catch up with a friend, do work , or get some quiet time. Cute little coffee shop with friendly service. There were a lot of boxes and other items around that had me assuming they were a new place and were just settling in. However, the barista said that they had been around for about 2 years, so I'm not sure what all the mess was about. They also had a very limited coffee selection, which I was not expecting for a coffee shop. The tables were full of people working on laptops, so it would be a good place if that's what you're looking to do. They also had lots of options for outdoor seating. read more

What a sweet little coffee shop! This is a great fit for downtown Rockford. I LOVE the nature vibes with the back windows and the back patio overlooking the Rogue River. The latte and pastry I had were right on point, and the staff were pleasant and quick. There were a couple design choices that I would change, like trying to hide backup supplies and big fridges away from the main seating area, but overall it's a great little coffee shop. read more

Got to try this place for the first time yesterday. I am excited for an additional coffee shop in Rockford and especially in this beautiful space along the river. It's still really new, and while I appreciate a clean, minimalist vibe, it needs a bit more personality, maybe a few key art pieces or some plants. But I'm confident that will come. The service was fantastic. Lauren and Stephen were warm and kind and eager to help. Stephen recommended an orange cardamom latte after asking a few questions about what kind of coffee drinks I preferred. The latte was yum! The orange was super subtle and complemented the espresso and cardamom perfectly. It was great to see several folks trying it out. This coffee shop had the best fall spice latte I have ever had! The customer service was very great, the barista even brought me my drink from where I was sitting. The vibes were very great! Perfect for studying or a date. The music was the perfect background of noise while also bringing a unique factor that make it stand out from other places. Coffee was very good! The seating area was comfy and beautiful. Unfortunately, the service was utterly terrible. We had been excited to try a new coffee shop but the barista was so hostile that we became uncomfortable and actually left. I sent a message and it went unanswered. Great service can elevate a mediocre product, just as terrible service can ruin a good product, which is what happened in our case. Their decor is beautiful with their wood tones and unique seating that is inclusive, yet gives the personal space you may need for conversation, quiet reflection, or catching up on a little work. I have also tried their gluten free treats and they are delicious. Lastly, the location is amazing!
