This place is in a good location. Also if you want hibachi without all the trills an ok place to go. The food was ok. They yum yum sauce could of been more flavorful. Also keep in mind that you can not substitute anything. I wish that would change I didn't want all the veggies they give you but I guess that's what you get when it's an express place.

Decided to visited because I heard about it . Place is not that big on the inside . There's really no customer service when your order is taken . You just look at the menu and tell the guy at the register and just wait for your number to be called. I'm given the restaurant a three based on the amount of food and price . This would be a place to get decent/okay food for a very good price . We did not have to wait long for the food . We ordered two chickens , which comes with veggies and your choice of noddles and fried rice . A order of Chicken in steak with the same sides and a Bantu order which came with your choice of rice or noodles , sushi , three fried dumplings and two spring rolls and mixed veggies all for $11. If you looking for cheap eats this would be the spot to go to !

I was fully prepared for some mediocre hibachi, not expecting much, just cheap and easy. But even if you're in the market for cheap and easy I wouldn't recommend this place. The rice was so bland I couldn't eat it without yum yum sauce. The tofu tasted really awful, I could only take one bite. I guess they get a star for the cheap prices, but the taste is aligned with the low cost.

Proof that they can't read and issue correct orders!

These people gave my door dasher the wrong order! I ordered nearly $50 worth of food for myself and my guest. Not very much food, just enough for 2 people within a reasonable time. These jerks gave my door dasher the wrong order. I'm sad for the lady who lost out on her meal, like I did. My dasher tried to let them know that the name was for another person's order, and they insisted that this order was correct. What?! Can they NOT READ?! I will NEVER give them my money again! It's bad enough being a guest visiting Virginia on business, but when you have people that choose to be incompetent, rather than being considerate with other people's money and orders, then what else can one think of them?! They could have just kept this $18 order, and gave me back my nearly $50! I guess they needed my pocket change, and decided to keep it to themselves!

Quickway Japanese Hibachi Restaurant: My $10 Beef & Chicken Combo: It fed me for 3 meals!

We're off to a good start! I must confess that I am not a connoisseur of Japanese Food. I went into Quickway this afternoon, scanned the menu, and ordered the Chicken & Beef Combo. I gave the man a $20; he gave me $10 change. Perhaps 5 minutes later my food came up, and I was on my way home. At home, the first thing I noticed was the clamshell. Not polystyrene or paperboard, but sturdy, recyclable polypropylene, embossed with Quickway Japanese Hibachi, and their logo. I had watched the man cramming food into the clamshell; it was quite heavy. I started eating, and thought a splash of Tamari Sauce would help. I(t helped, and I ate and enjoyed about of the Combo for lunch. For dinner, I added Go-Chu-Jang (Korean Sauce), and it was even better. But I was unable to eat it all (2/3 of the original order.) This is clearly the most bang-for-the buck carryout I've had in years, I'll be back.

I mean it's no Kan Pai or anything. But if you're looking for affordable, quick hibachi. This is your place. Food is definitely enough to feed 2 people with the combos. Their yummy sauce was a bit watered down but mix it with some soy sauce on top. It makes up for it.

Not being from the area, it was quite the experience and a little scary. One minute we're going by all these university buildings, and the next we're turning down the street where the restaurant is having people knocking on our windows. We didn't realize whatsoever this was sort of a downtown area. Parking is very challenging, and honestly with everything going on around us, I gave up because I couldn't figure out for the life of me which park pay app to use. We learned quick there is only take out as an option anyway. Ordering was super easy and done on a computer touch screen. I got the chicken hibachi and added a shrimp side as they didn't do combos of multiple options. The meal came with fried rice and noodles, veggies, and your protein. That totally went over my head not being familiar with what the meal looked like, but I really loved the noodles. The food was good, but overall had a lot of black pepper. There was also a lot of sauce on the food. Maybe teriyaki. We didn't expect that. I would recommend that being stated somewhere. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and wouldn't have been able to eat that with the amount of sugar in that sauce plus the carbs! You're able to pick two sauces to go with your meal. The yum yum sauce is a pinkish color which really threw us off! We also got ginger. The staff was nice!

We started off with some fried tofu (not pictured) and followed up with two specialty rolls. For two people, this was plenty to fill us up. The Monster roll is pretty filling with its size, tuna, and a piece of tempura. The roll on the left (forgot the name), was a nice balance to the heavier Monster roll. I thoroughly enjoyed the specialty rolls! Service was great! We were running behind our reservation time and I called to let them know. We still got our table when we arrived! They told us about the happy hour and we got some drinks and an appetizer. Water was always refilled. Ambiance is low key. Great for catching up with friends and families. Bathrooms had cool, neon lighting like you're at the club. Would definitely come back (which I did)!

Still pretty good flavor. I liked the Jeff roll with tuna, it seemed like a pretty thin topping and had a nice little kick from the jalapeño. The Yume roll had good flavor but it felt like the filling with the crunch was a lot of the filling which made it a little bland, nice crunch and simple flavors.
