I've been coming here for years and I've never had an issue. The staff has always been super kind and quick with preparing orders. I don't have much to say besides the sushi is really good and I always order the chicken bento box. The menu is small so it's not overwhelming and you can order in multiple ways, I always call in my order and they're usually done in 10 minutes since it's all made fresh. This place is decent. Similar to the beloved Sarku Japan that most of us all love on our trips to the mall. Quickway expands on the Japanese offerings with Bento Boxes and Sushi. But the majority of the customers like myself opted for the meat and fried rice options. I had chicken fried rice that took about 10 minutes. The prices are higher than Sarku Japan but quality seems to be higher. My biggest complaint is for the money I thought the portion sizes could've been better. There's plenty of parking and seats inside if you'd rather eat in. I think next time I'll have to give their other offerings a try! The Sushi looked pretty good and Bento is a good option for a quick lunch. Oh! One last thing, they include yum yum sauce. Ya know, the white dressing that you enjoy at your favorite Hibachi restaurant. read more

Stopped in to try if for lunch. Not bad, just no frills hibachi. It was pretty good, about what you'd expect, but I'm not picky. The service was fast, but bear in mind it wasn't busy at all, I was only one of two tables at lunchtime so I'm not sure how well it's been received. A new place like this should have a line out the door at lunchtime. It certainly has a very chain-like feel, which isn't good or bad I guess. The reason I gave three stars instead of four is because I was very turned off that the worker's little kids were sitting in a booth playing with toys and stuff. It looks like they'd been there all day because the booth looked like a playpen. You see this often generally in Latino and Asian restaurants, and it's really BAD for business. The employees should realize this by now. Customers don't want to see your bored and agitated kids playing in the store. We don't care about your kids or the fact that you have no one to watch them at home. Figure something out, but don't bring them to work with you. To add to it, the employee had her little kid pouring and capping the Yum Yum sauces with unwashed hands. Yuck. This whole scenario gave the place the same feel as a Chinese carry-out. A little more attention to the interior design would have been nice, I think the bare utilitarian light fixture bases that are supposed to have shades on them looks really tasteless. The wall fixtures are actually ceiling fixtures being used as wall sconces without the shade. I mean you can even see the manufacturer's labels and the post that's supposed to hold the shade on them. The ceiling fixtures hanging down are just Home Depot basement light utility room bare fixtures. Is there no one who knows anything about style in industrial architectural design any more? I'm not sure how they will do here. It's kind of out of the way and not easy to get in and out of, plus they have competition from Chipotle right next door to them. The comments so far do seem very positive, so that's a good thing. I'll go back, and if they improve on their kids using the booths for a playpen thing I'll raise my score. It seems odd that their Yelp page is unclaimed also. You'd think a new business would want to be able to respond to comments, but then again lots of people are sick of Yelp and their deceptions, so perhaps that's a reason why it remains unclaimed. read more

I had the worst service I purchased an online order on website was given my ticket # and time it would be done I pick up my order 30 minutes later I ask if this is order 54 and I check and they tell me yes as soon as I grab my order to leave at I am yelled at by female worker and tells me no it not mine and I confirm it belongs to me reciting my order and amount of purchase as I leave woman chases me outside I then wave to her as I think she's looking for me she asks me again to show her my confirmation I lean to show her and she snatches my food out of my hand and runs back inside restaurant i literally chase her back inside she opens my food throwing around my contents and yells at me saying it's not mine im lying and as I ask to speak to someone else a man asks me to once again tell him my order and he's then says sorry and hands back my food which is now thrown around I don't know what I did to these ppl but I will not be returning I also ask for a refund I am ignored read more

I've been to this location twice & I was pleased on both occasions. The staff is friendly & very accomodating. They have a lot to choose from & made my food exactly as I asked. Although they offer a fried rice, it would be nice to get authentic brown rice. That would deserve 5 stars. read more

This place is reminds of sakura of japan at white marsh mall. In fact, the sauce taste exactly the same. It's pretty clean there, I like the bright lights with decent amount of seats. ( she's a child!!!!).. then yelling at me when I asked for customer curtesy to change order...they eventually changed the order, when I asked her to calm down....BUT THEY WILL NEVA GET A DIME FROM ME AGAIN! The food was really good. I ordered a Chicken Box and I got a lot for my money. It was good quality as well. The only two things that I didn't like were that the inside of the restaurant itself is very plain and uncomfortable, and the menu is very limited. Other than that, it's worth it. read more

I have visited the Quickway Hibachi in Rosedale MD 4 times out of those 4 times only twice has been a pleasant experience. My first time I was pretty impressed while in there and when I saw they were on UberEats one evening I was quick to order unfortunately I ended up with hair in my food. Still I got a refund and a few weeks later I tried again and was pleased. In each order I got the Bento Box with Chicken and Shrimp and no cucumber in the sushi ( cucumber makes me sick) This evening I ordered the same thing through UberEats with the special instructions of no cucumber in the California Roll and the restaurant calls and states they can't make my order of no cucumber unless I order 8 pieces. I asked was this policy and she said yes and I asked since when and she advised always. I have always ordered without cucumber and advised her of this and she advised unless I get 8 pieces I will most definitely get 4 pieces with cucumber in them. I advised to just go ahead and cancel the order and she stated that I had to cancel through Ubereats which I responded I would. I was able to contact UberEats who advised that the restaurant states they made my order and couldn't cancel which I then I told them well that is on the restaurant they told me they would not make my order correctly and I told the lady I would cancel the order through UberEats. I did get my refund but I will never visit again. read more

The Asian man that I believe is the manager is the rudest person I have ever met at any of these locations. He is not friendly, does not care about the customers, and does not care about providing quality service: I placed my order with him tonight and specifically asked if they had a to go container that did not have separate compartments which he told me they didn't. While I was waiting I saw the sushi box and asked could I get that instead his response was that it was for sushi and proceeded to put my food in the container I didn't want. When the cooks handed me my food I asked if I could have the sushi box, they looked over at the Asian man who said I would have to pay 1$. That's insane I specifically told you I wanted a container with only one compartment then pointed out that I wanted that one before you put it in the one I specifically told you I didn't want. There is absolutely no reason these containers could not have been switched prior to the food going in the container like I had asked except for the fact that he does not care about the customers at all. His attitude is super poor he doesn't smile and none of the staff is wearing gloves either. I really like this food and this is the closest location to my home but if a simple request to get one carry out container instead of another can't be granted I will never come here again. This is my tenth visit since they opened and every time the experience has gotten worse and worse always at the expense of the same person. The rest of the staff is very friendly. read more
