Chose this restaurant based on the Yelp reviews and ya'll came through-again. When I pulled up it seems like a small place (it kinda is) with no customers in the parking lot but never judge a book by its cover. The rolls were delicious ad fresh (Kamikaze and Rock and Roll). Then order chicken hibachi and not only was the serving size huge - it was soooooo good. Customer service is great. Samurai Roll: 6/10 (according to my partner) Tempura was heavily battered/fried, inside proportions were off, and the eel on top wasn't great. Spicy Nemo Roll: 10/10 No notes - this is my favorite roll. The sauces and tempura flakes really set it off! We ordered hibachi and sushi from Arigato in Perry Hall and left very disappointed. The hibachi steak was overcooked twice and overly salty. Despite being a hibachi restaurant, there's no table-side cooking show--everything is made out of sight in the kitchen. The sushi had a strong fishy smell and the rolls were dry, which was concerning and unappetizing. At $30 per plate for hibachi and overpriced sushi, the quality simply doesn't justify the cost. I have been looking for hibachi for while now. On a whim I tried this place and was not disappointed at all. It wasn't too crowded when I went. I was able to be seated right away. The waitresses were really attentive. The sweet tea is actually sweet, but not overly sweet. The portion sizes are enough to take home. I had Shrimp Bento & the Dragon Rolls(I didn't notice it came with salmon and me not like it). Will say that it was busy when I visit and the wait time was 15-30min, after ordering inside and going back to pick up. I admit the stuff is pricey compare to other places but other places don't give you the same portion I was very please with the amount of food I got. I didn't like the Rolls and it's obviously cuz of the salmon taste but that's on me. My friend got Shrimp & Chicken Hibachi and the only observation that I could make was that the rice wasn't well mixed so you could see soy sauce in one side and not the other Looking forward to eat from again! read more

The pearl river roll here is my favorite to date I've had from any sushi restaurant. The side order of fried rice was so huge I ate leftovers for two days. Got a craving for hibachi last night and Arigato was the first place that came up on my Yelp search. I live right across the street from this place and somehow never noticed it tucked away in the shopping center. Wish I would've found Arigato sooner because it is some of the best hibachi I've ever had. We ordered the chicken hibachi, NY strip steak hibachi, scallop hibachi, shrimp tempura, Sakura roll, and pearl river roll. We ordered for delivery and was quoted an hour but it arrived in about 45 minutes. We had some picky eaters so some requests were made such as no onion, extra sauce, extra fried rice, etc. but all of our orders came correct! The hibachi portions are huge. Huge as in you could get three meals out of one hibachi entree. The sushi was a good size, too. Everything was cooked to perfection and yummy. Speaking of yummy, we ordered extra yum yum sauce because who doesn't love yum yum sauce, and we received a pint container of it in addition to the 4 oz. individual containers that come per hibachi entree. Now I'll be drowning in yum yum sauce for the next week or so! read more

This does not seem like the place to visit during social distancing. It seems they are overwhelmed by the number of orders and had much of the food precooked. One of those food items was the noodles, and the look and taste of them proved that 1) they had been sitting for quite some time to make getting orders out more convenient and 2) noodles that sit out are not good at all. The noodles tasted gummy and had an unpleasant taste. Also, the chicken was over cooked/dry. The shrimp tasted the freshest and flavorful.
