Stopped by today for a smog test and it only took 10 minutes to wait and you're done. $40 and that includes submitting the report to DMV. If there's one or two cars ahead of you, that would be 20 minutes for both of them, lol! I'm not sure if you pay if you failed, usually you don't pay. They close at 6pm. "STOP! Smog Certification Required at a STAR station." If you're like me, you'll get this notice for your vehicle once every two years. And, if you're like me, you'll put off this mildly inconvenient errand right up until the vehicle registration deadline. Luckily, places like Quicky Smog exist to make the process of getting a smog check fast and painless. This place is a little hard to find. They operate out of a single garage in front of the car wash, right next to an auto shop. I came on a Saturday morning and there was nobody in front of me, so I was able to be served immediately. A smog test for my Honda Civic cost me $35, but after using the coupon on their website, I was able to bring it down to $30. However, they did tell me they'll be raising prices for most cars in June 2022, so this pricing information may be outdated in a few months. By the way, if you check in on Yelp, you can get a free automated car wash next door. I'm not sure if the coupon and check-in offer can be combined. Look, it's a smog check. You don't need to build a business relationship with them. It's something you'll hopefully only have to do once in a while. In the end, Quicky Smog didn't let me down. I was in and out of here within ten minutes, so I'm happy. read more

Steve and Daniel are both the most helpful and knowledgeable team that runs the smog test portion of this large business (auto detailing & auto repairs). I had originally brought my son's car to get ready to sell as they were the only ones open on a Sunday. Wait times were very good - only 10 minutes - 1 customer ahead. Super courteous service - filled out some paperwork and waited. The first time it failed due to lack of driving (drive cycle) and failed the EVAP and EGR. For a car that recently passed smog testing for registration, I knew it was because I had a low battery last month and had it jump started. Luckily I had a $15 OBD reader at home so I knew what this meant - I had to drive it at varying speeds, long idles, and extended highway speeds. After driving the car for over 145 mlles and a solid week of driving city, freeways, and lots of idle / rest / idle, my OBDII scanner said the all IM sensors were good to go. Second time in, another customer ahead of me and I waited no more than 10 minutes. This time it passed which didn't surprise me this time as I knew the drive cycle was completed and the sensors all read good. Just a note: this facility is a STAR testing only place. They DO NOT repair nor attempt to correct any emission issue(s). So if you have check engine light (CEL), or have replaced the battery, or reset the ECM codes or you had a jump start (like mine) you will have to perform a complete drive cycle. Warning: Don't get mad at them for your car not having a complete drive cycle and failing. Check out YouTube videos on how to get a complete drive cycle - some cars you can get a drive cycle in 10 miles, others take 200+ miles. Mine took 145 miles before the EGR and EVAP said good to go. Tip: DO your own homework before coming into a test facility - you are the owner of the car and you need to know the intricacies of smog testing regulations set forth by the state of CA. And if you show them your Yelp checkin, you can get a FREE car wash (Express). Way to go Quickly Smog - this is how you treat your Yelp members! read more

This is the fastest place ever! I will never wait 30 minutes to an hour ever again. I went and the gentleman had told me it would be less than 10 minutes and that he could pull my car in for me. first time doing a smog check around the azusa area and needless to say this location did not disappoint. looking around there were quite a lot of places who do smog checks however this location had multiple 5 star reviews and that did not lie. it was $45 dollars for a smog check and the location is inside a car wash place. small garage, small place, however, their service is quick and efficient. the guy working was very nice and polite. he makes sure you are in and out quickly. there was 1 person ahead of me however i waited 30 minutes for my smog check to be finished. quick, attentive, and polite. will be coming back if needed soon! read more
