so just like a mojority of people i am lazy and waited last minute for registration and what do you know i need a smog check too. i went to this place after work and he asked what kind of car i drive (350z) and he said $35. the guy that tested me is an asian guy named tran who seems very nice. first he checked stuff under my hood then checked my gas cap. ive had a smog check before and they usually stick a pole thing in my exhaust but this guy just plugged in his diagnostic device. it was really fast. read more

I found a number of smog inspection stations online offering discounts and coupons. I called to find out the price for a 6 cylinder SUV, and was quoted $35 out the door. Definitely the least expensive around. When I arrived, the technician was finishing with a customer. He told me to have a seat, where I waited a few minutes before Naser, the technician, greeted me. The entire process took about 15 minutes. I paid with an ATM card to avoid the extra $1.50 charge for a credit card, and I was given a coupon for a free car wash. The whole experience was easy, inexpensive, and pleasant. I will definitely return for my next smog check. read more

Came today to have a regular SMOG check for my wife's car. This is my 2nd visit to this shop. Last year my car had a test only SMOG check done here. I brought a coupon from their website (price just went up a few bucks but they are still cheaper than other shops I checked) and they honored it right away. I was in & out quickly both times. My wife found a coupon for Quicky Smog STAR, so we decided to give them a try. I showed up at around 10 on a Saturday morning and, although there were two people ahead of me, I did not have to wait very long. Naser (the attendant) was hustling to move people through as soon as possible. From having customers fill out their invoice, to testing the car and collecting payment, he was organized quick and courteous. I do not think I waited more than 30 minutes, but neither did the two people ahead of me or the three people who showed up behind me. Great job Naser! read more

Quicky smog got the job done, and smog checked my vehicle. However, customer's should be ready to pay at least $5 more if you have a vehicle that has an engine over 2.0 L. I've never seen a smog place charge more for a sedan versus a compact, so the coupon for the smog check is misleading. Not sure why a business would charge $5 for bad advertisement. read more

VERY reputable place; super quick (as 'advertised' in their business name), and VERY fair pricing. In fact, the entire thing (smog test and certificate) cost $30...the lowest I've seen. Daniel conducted the test and could not have been more professional, friendly and courteous. [I noticed, after getting the test completed, that the fan for my A/C system didn't work, so I brought it to him thinking, perhaps, something had disconnected or ???. He immediately investigated the situation - thoroughly - and confirmed in front of me that it could not have been related to the smog test. He was absolutely right!! I spoke to my husband later in the day and discovered that he, too, had encountered the same problem a month earlier. It was an amazing coincidence. Again, Daniel was a complete professional in trying to ensure that he did not do anything wrong (HE DIDN'T!), and even went to the trouble of discussing the issue with a mechanic on-site (who actually knew what the problem was...a faulty fan).] Could not be more pleased with not only the entire smog testing process, but the commitment to customer satisfaction that Daniel demonstrated.
