camilo was rude and dismissive even after i sent my 17 year old son back for a emissions test. he simply told him his car failed and pointed for him to leave. he's been doing doing this for 20 years he claims and he is as so incredibly rude. do not give this place business. horrible horrible customer service. and in fact, it smelled like cannabis inside the emissions building. i wouldn't go back. read more

Very simply put, the most professional, reliable, friendly, and efficient emissions check I have had in the city of Albuquerque. I pulled up and was the first car in line, by the time I parked the car got out of it and then got back in my car with a two year registration as well as an emissions test it had only been six minutes. Went in for emission on 2 separate occasions, the first was an old man who was very argumentative and in a rush. He was not willing to hear my questions and refused to do service on my car. On the second occasion, was met with a young man who was very understanding, patient, and quick with great service. Was willing to hear my questions and made the service very quick. read more

I went to them 3 times to get my car emissions done. Failed first emissions test because of oxygen sensor needing to be replaced. I replace it right away and go back next day. It fails again and they say you need to drive a hundred miles before a retest but they still charge a retesting fee. I drive a couple hundred miles with no engine lights or anything and I go back for another retest. It fails again and the guy is like you need to drive a lot more on it plus it smells like gas. Engine light never came back on. I take it to another local emissions place in town with great reviews and my car pasts the tests immediately. I will never trust this place and I bet they are super prejudiced if your car fails an initial emissions tests. Such a scam. Save your money yall I know I haven't posted about this in a month but I opened Yelp and wanted to check out reviews on a restaurant then Yelp asked how this experience was so it reminded me of how terrible this process was read more

This is a follow-up to my negative review posted earlier today, which pertained only to the shop at 7030 Montgomery (near Louisiana). I did complain to supervisory staff about the employee in question. I was able to get in touch with a manager right away. He was very understanding and comped for my bad experience. Horrible - I'm being forced by the DMV (I have several emails and letters,) to get my car smog checked in order to transfer my title of ownership from one state to NM to be able to register my car - I explained this to the man and he was grotesque and argumentative - he refused to listen to me or service me - I felt extremely uncomfortable (I'm a woman,) being yelled at by this man when I drove over an hour for these services. I'm trying to give you money dude? I hope you're happy with your creepy bon3r you must have sprung demonstrating power over a woman. The service was quick enough and ok but I've never been to car service place where they asked you to enter a tip at payment. I did tip 15% (15$) because I paid extra to renew, and they said they were to busy to put it on. Not a huge deal just a little weird I would just skip that part if you go in but it was quick. read more

We came to the Montgomery and Tramway location New Years Eve because my husband's car was going to expire! Thank goodness they were open. We had the same gentleman that had re-registered my car that summer. He is so nice and has great customer service. When we came in the summer with my car we had tried to do it online not thinking we needed an emissions test since it is a diesel. He was so kind he called the MVD and asked why they wanted an emissions since it is a diesel.... apparently the title says gas. He told them....well it is certainly not a gas. He solved our problem with the MVD and re-registered my car. Love this location because of how convenient it is to get the emissions if needed and the registration done all at one time. This a-hole decided after wasting 10 minutes of my time to say that he doesn't want to do the emissions on the car because I was first trying to be friendly and talk to him. I saw he was looking for the connection for the emission plug in so I pointed out where the emissions plug in was hidden. And once I did that he then yelled at me saying I had no idea what I was doing and that I know nothing about cars ( I actually rebuilt the engine on my car) and said he is going to make it where I don't pass. And told me to leave. Without any real reason. So this is just word to the wise if you go there sit in the corner and don't talk to him. read more
