I believe the intentionly did shoddy work because i declined to have them do a $600 spark plug job. Was told my wires were oil soaked and they commonly come out of the tubes. No other mechanic agrees. Somehow a plug they say is oil soaked can push a tube off the safety clasp and 6" out of the tube. Ben was miserable to work with calling me after to yell and curse, making sure to add "your car is a piece of shit" and to tell me to "never come back" to his shop. Very disappointed, will be going to another mechanic to verify they actually did the work I was charged for. Do not recommend Ben Wade or Sparkys at all.

Both vehicles had the check engine light on at the time. Before even scanning the cars, the technician looked at my dashboard, clearly saw the warning light, and still proceeded to run the emission test. As most people know, if the check engine light is on, the vehicle will not pass emissions. What frustrated me is that, as a professional in the industry, he should have advised me to repair the issue first and return after the light was off. Instead, he completed the test on two cars he already knew would fail, and charged me for both. Later, I returned with the check engine light off and asked if I would pass now. His response was, "Hold on, I'm eating," which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. When I then asked why I was charged the first time if he knew I wouldn't pass, the conversation escalated. He became very rude, told me to "go somewhere else," and essentially asked me to leave. Customer service matters--especially for a business like this where honesty and guidance should come first. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

Yeah right, listen to this... I called last week and C.J. answered the phone. I told him that I needed a clock spring for my 2001 Dodge Dakota because my horn hasn't worked for years. Other mechanics have checked the fuses, relays, and everyone diagnosed that the clock spring needed to be replaced. I kept being quoted at $714, which includes the part and labor, but I didn't have the money until now. Well C.J. went to his computer, looked up my vehicle, and basically said the same thing- that the job will be $710. Fine. I called back the next day to schedule an appt. so C.J. went to his computer again to order the part but then he asked me if my truck had a heated steering wheel. I said no. Then he said Oh wow, the part is more money without it, go figure. And then he said that the part is now $220 more, making the grand total over $900.... C.J., the 2001 Dodge Dakota didn't have the option of a heated steering wheel, and being that I ordered my truck straight from the manufacturer 23 years ago and told you that I kept it as close to the original as possible, you knew that my vehicle didn't have a heated steering wheel in the first place. They and the other driver's insurance company totaled my truck and even tried to convince me that my truck's frame was bent! And after 7 months dealing with those 2 other companies and giving them almost $10,000 my truck still wasn't fixed! A co-worker told me about Jay Walton and promised me they would take care of me and my truck.....and Jay Walton to the rescue! Even though they were given a truck that was missing the entire front end, they were brave and knowledgeable to take on the challenge! Not only did Jay Walton do the diagnostics to discover if my truck's frame was bent, they proved it was not! And they never tried to take advantage of me or be dishonest. Ryan kept in touch with me with updates and was always quick to find out answers and address any issues that came up. Best of all, Jay Walton had my truck completely repaired in 2 months!
