This Circle K was well stocked, large, spacious aisles, ample selection of snacks, drinks, etc to purchase. I didn't look at the menu but it appears even custom-ordered fresh food. Several available gas pumps, including diesel if you need it. Overall condition of the building and pump structure looked good, almost new. They were requiring masks to be worn inside and I did see a couple of guys come in with bandanas on, though no cowboy boots Regardless my bladder is relieved and our car is filled up. If we were hungry and didn't want to grab food from here, across the street were plenty of restaurants like Chipotle and Firehouse Subs and others, and easy jump back to I-85.

They all great you when you walk in and if 1 or 2 of them are working the counter. The other 2 are in the store sweeping, mopping, wiping, & just plain ol cleaning up something. They are trying to give the other gas station (it rhymes with Quick Tip) a run for their money. As far as the food and drink section. I try not to eat a bunch of gas station food for (should be) obvious reasons. But their pizza ohhhh laaawd have mercy. Is way better than the other gas station I mentioned above. They even have a beer and pizza deal. WHAT?!??! The parking lot is always clean, gas pumps seem to always work and most of all (my pet peeve) the pump seems to always have paper to print receipts. The woman working was so kind and she was all over every person that walked in the door. The chicken was juicy, breading was incredible without being too much, and the sides were great as well. They have both jumbo and regular sizes, as well as spicy and non. This definitely beats any fast food fried chicken. I would say to get there earlier, they were nearly sold out of some of the stuff around 630 pm. You know it's good if all of the construction workers pop in right after their shift. It's not the best fried chicken I've had, but it was pretty darn good and exceeded expectations. I'll hit this spot again before going to a fast food joint for sure!

The young lady who took my order put the chicken in the box with a biscuit and my side of green beans (I wanted cole slaw, but she warned me that it was a very small container). I paid for it at the register and took it with me. The main concern here is that it's an extremely small parking lot and there really isn't any other parking nearby. If you're filling up with gas (it's not cheap), that would work. Okay, the chicken. Hot. Crispy. A little spicy. Delicious. Was it better than Bojangles? Don't ask me to answer that. I went to 27 stores one day between northeast concord and tega cay looking for the only drink in America I like and stumbled on this hidden gem. Luckily I'm only 15 minutes from this store but wish I knew this before driving home from work one day and stopping 27 times . The gentlemen who works here with the short black hair and the woman with long black hair always in a bun and wears her mask have just been exceptional towards me and it means alot. I'm no one special but when I walk in to this store I feel special. They are always so friendly and helpful. You can't beat customer service like theirs and they deserve a raise! I also met the owner or manager I believe and he is just as nice. I have always made friends with my local gas station clerks because they see me the most given I drive 3k miles in less than a month but this location is my go to because of how friendly they are. I will only come here for my monster and gas even if they have higher prices. Kindness matters. Sounds mushy and dumb but you literally never know what someone is going thru and their kindness has been so refreshing considering everything going on in the world and in my life. So just remember, be kind, be like this staff, because a small gesture whether good or bad can make or break someone's day. He went to get them, and when he looked at me, I said, "I'll take all of them." A second cashier then said there was a limit of two. I responded that every other cashier who works here has sold me the entire box before and that he was the only one refusing. The first cashier then put the cigars back. I asked if he was going to sell them to me. He replied that he was busy. I responded, "After you just had them in your hands?" I then asked for his name. He identified himself as Alex.
