In metro Atlanta, like QuikTrip, I'm generally a fan of RaceTrac for their big gas stations and convenience stores. They're typically bright, clean, well-stocked (both inside and out), and modern. Also, the gas prices are reasonable. This is a highly-trafficked RaceTrac and I'm willing to bet one of the highest-grossing in Georgia due to the busy area where it's situated. I stopped by this RaceTrac to fill up on my way to nearby Wolf Creek Golf Club in South Fulton. This RaceTrac has 22 pumps and an RT6K build (6,000-square-foot design), the current generation of large-style convenience store. I had no issues except the pump wouldn't accept contactless payment via my NFC credit card. Not a big deal. I was still in and out in a matter of minutes. While not the nicest nor in the best condition of the all the RaceTrac stores I've been to due to high customer volume, I would still return.

There's nothing fancy about this place, but it's perfect and in the neighborhood. At first, I was a little confused about the gas situation as the station said "see cashier." Wasn't exactly sure how to walk away from my car without being accosted by the homeless dudes and get my situation taken care of. The guys inside are indeed "buddies" and were rather nice. Definitely a good spot to fill up from now on. As mentioned before, this is a killer spot for score some King of Pops. The cooler is packed and is updated on the regular apparently. This particular…read morelocation is essentially a mini travel station, as it features all the normal gas station stuff plus a Dunkin Donuts and a Subway! I popped in on my way out of Rex and while I didn't need a refill on my gas tank, I did on my coffee cup! When I walked in I was greeted by the gas station attendant immediately who was friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a nice addition to this area that otherwise does not offer a whole lot. Service was good, the store is clean, well kept and in good condition from the inside out. Not that I am in Rex often, but on the off chance I happen to head down 675 again, I at least know this Valero and DD will be waiting for me!

Valero gas station has many filling stations so not as likely to wait in a line for gas. Food! This gas station has not only one but two food options. First it has a Dunkin Donuts which seems to serve breakfast all day because I got a Beyond sausage breakfast sandwich at 2:30 in the afternoon. The second food option is a Subway. Of course inside the Valero there are many snack options like fresh fruit and a large selection of beverages.
