This spot is a bit cursed because of the fast, chaotic nature of the 'stroad' it's on. The gas station is fine, but getting out (especially turning left) is a game I don't always feel like playing. If anything else, I hope the city explores a rewrite of this road, through the covered wagon intersection and really the surrounding area. It's not fun to drive, and an absolute nightmare to bike or walk near. Anywho, this spot gets BUSY during the middle of day. We stopped in to get our girls some road trip snacks and they loved all the candy and whatnot. I do like getting an unsweetened ice tea with a little lemonade in it from QuikTrip, so I got in on that too. Like most QuikTrips, their staff is quick on the register and you won't wait long, even during a rush. QuikTrip's are typically the best gas stations in town, but again this is one I'll skip more often than not. read more

I took an E. It was actually just a Tylenol. They lied. So yeah. That was a Quik Trip. I used this gas station just recently on my trip to Kansas City because it is across from the ice cream shop - Andy's - where I was getting some custard. Good thing I didn't steal it or I would have ended up in custardy. And anyway this place has pretty average prices for the region and the girl inside was friendly enough. Right in the middle of the urban area so very conveniently located for the Country Club Plaza and what not. read more

Really convenient QT on the edge of the Plaza and Westport. Right across from Andy's Frozen Custard too.

The new setup is awful- the customers don't understand how the counter process works and stand single file which makes for long lines and confusion. They also have 5 employees working while 4 stands around 1 checks people out while joking around with the others making it take even longer. It takes forever to get the kitchens attention when your order is ready too. read more

This place is always busy because of the location. What I cannot stand is the fact that they have deliveries during peak hours. I know some things need to be delivered during business hours but who delivers beer at 8 am? The pumps are always all functioning and the grounds are kept clean and the trash cans are always empty. Inside the bathrooms are always spotless and the beverage areas are also spotless. The line moves fast and the employees are also very nice and attentive. read more

QTs in general elicit a five star ranking from me for their constantly stocked shelves, good gasoline prices, friendly employees, and safety of stores. This location on Westport Rd., however, struggles to find that "magic touch" that other locations have. Maybe it's the arrangement of the pumps or the continually busy stream of cars and delivery trucks blocking the west entrance. Maybe it's the narrow gas lanes or nearly unnavigable parking lot/spaces closest to the door. Whatever the mystery is here, it needs a little fixing. This QT feels like a holdover from a bygone era. With the introduction of the new QT storefronts with improved gas pump traffic and enhanced convenience store amenities, this place is a dinosaur. I like QT gas and it's on the way to work which makes it convenient but I always feel like something is going to happen to me here. Fender bender in parking lot, irate Westport pyschos, or even panhandlers (I encountered one here a few years ago just sitting outside the door asking for cash). Other options include stores on 31st and SW Blvd (equally busy with A LOT of weirdos) and 45thish and Main (very busy and tight quarters also). For now, I'll have to roll the dice and take my chances. It beats the mess out of other gas stations on Westport Rd, Main, and Broadway, but that isn't really saying anything. If you have a Costco membership and don't need buffalo chicken taquitos or a 72 ounce soda, head over to Linwood and Gillham instead. read more

This QuickTrip location needs a bigger parking lot & more gas pumps. If you are in a hurry do NOT go here. It's the closest station to my house and is on my way to work which is why I end up going here, but half the time you can't even pull into the parking lot because it is completely packed. If you are able to pull in, be very alert! Since the parking lot is so tiny, it's almost just as impossible and dangerous to get out. read more

Kitchen employees are not properly wearing masks while they're preparing people's foods. Talked to a manager about it and he asked an employee to ask the workers to wear their mask and they ignored the request. Very frustrating experience. read more

I stop here an average of three times a week. Always between 8 and 8:30 AM. They are fast, even though there are a lot of people there. I worked in a convince store before so I know how crazy it can get during morning rush hours and the staff are always pleasant and accurate. read more

One of the busiest Quik Trips I've ever been to. Assuming you can find a parking spot or pump, however, this is the best place to stop for gas and sundries in Midtown. Unless you head to the Quik Trip on Southwest Boulevard, which is considerably quieter, though not usually quite as convenient to where I'm headed from or to. read more

I like this quick trip especially because of the employees and the friendly Kansas City Missouri Police Department officers who often break there.for example, I was getting gas in my car and putting some plant matter into a device. I looked out of my window only to see it Kansas City Missouri Police Department officer looking right at me, I roll down the window, and he asked me do you know how long I've been looking at you? I quickly responded no I have no idea!he then said well I've been watching you for about three minutes so I've seen everything now if you will just dump those plant materials on the ground you can save the rest of all that and be on your merry what I said thank you very much officer,you are clearly one of the good guys! In regards to the quick trip itself the fountain is good the new hot food section is good and the selection of odds and ends is also extremely god this earns a five out of five yelp rating on the Quiktrip scale:-) read more

This place... oh boy. If you can find a damn gas tank open then maybe it is ok. But that will never happen. The layout of the parking is god awful and why I always avoid this QT. I'd rather shop at the shady gas station right down the straight that never has a stressful 5 minute wait to get a gas spot. read more
