Things I noticed while I waited: First: The floor was very dirty and even a wet spot near where I was standing. Their floor used to be clean almost all the time because I would constantly see someone cleaning it. 2nd: It took longer than usual to make the 2 drinks and it wasn't very busy and they had at least 5 workers there. 3rd: When she brought me the drinks, they were in much smaller cups and I told her I put large and she said that right now that was their large because of some issue with the cups. What? Anyway, like I said, this QT has always been great but seems to be going downhill ever since they remodeled it. Hopefully they'll get good again. Oh also, the drinks were not as good either. It tasted like it was missing something.

Here at the Business Center, I have never seen a line. I am able to get in and out with a full tank on gas in nothing flat. Gotta love, that. Shopping this store is similar to shopping Restaurant Depot. Many of the food items and pantry supplies are packaged in larger quantities than the regular Costco. Some are too large for me to even freeze with my Food Saver. However, I do like shopping the protein bars here. The selection and variety is much larger than the regular Costco. Another area I love shopping is, their pots and pans. I use to add new pieces to my collection when I shopped Marshall's or Home Goods. Now that I have discovered the selection here, I've added several pieces. Some are packaged individually and others are sets of two. When it's a set of two, I gift the second to a friend. As with all Costco Centers I have shopped, the staff is professional and friendly. Costco treats their employees right and when a business does that, it shows in the employee's performance. Driving down 170 over the weekend I managed to catch a glance at the sign showing 2.45/gallon for…read moregas and I have to admit that it certainly managed to get me to pull over however it wasn't until I pulled into the lot that I realized that the price was with a car wash, and that the regular price was 2.65, which was the same as the QT across the street. Instead of crossing over to QT, I figured that I could use a car wash anyways and decided to fill up here. The car wash was normally priced $6 for a basic wash, and with my savings on fuel it ended up costing about $4, not a huge savings but it was something. Anyways the pumps were clean and easy to use, however I did not step inside. When I pulled around to use the car wash I discovered that the machine was slow, very slow, I mean it took nearly 15+ minutes to do 3 cars ahead of me. And to make matters worse while waiting for the car in front of me to finish I could see mold growing on the machine, it was a mess. Hopefully the inside of this station is maintained better than a machine that is meant to keep the outside of your car so fresh and so clean.

The catch is that this particular store does not feel the need to keep either of these fresh and/or ready. The food/coffee station in general is grossly ignored and employees make it clear they have no intention of changing that any time soon. The premade food looked inviting and fresh. There is a large selection of snacks (grab and go to the airport! ), beverages (including hard alcohol! ), novelty items, maps, lottery and sundries. Gas pumps were clean and plentiful. Parking was well marked for the store. Staff could have been a little friendlier, especially as it is patronized by so many tourists. But overall it was a great place to fill up our rental, grab a few snacks and be on our way.
